Yeah, I think she got scolded.

In a very "Let's make this a lesson" way.

I'm getting confused about the angel daughter-father relationship. Is the father an actual controling asshole to his daighter, or does she simply have some sort of complex and is misinterpreting what her well-meaning father is saying?

I thought it was obvious that she has a father complex, as well as a superiority complex (because of that same father), but he himself is worried about his daughter being under pressure because she's his daughter.

So he could see that there was something fishy about Glamor inviting someone from the lower class she doesn't get along with. So, he tries to get her back on the right track.

And she's now disheartened, because to be up to her father's expectations, she'll have to help Liane.

I think she's her mother.

She had a very good relationship with her grandma, so I doubt she would kowtow to her.

Actually, these 3 chapters are all from a different point of view.

Ch1: Ruriko
Ch2: Nacchan
Ch3: Kyouko

I guess that in the next chapters, it'll all blend together.

Getting scolded by your dumbass sister on top of an evening of dysphoria. This poor baby needs a break. And I like how Sakuma tried to weasel out of there after dropping something silent but deadly. At least she is self aware about her screw-up

Kita was jerking off while fantasizing in case you didn't notice.

So, the "dumbass sister" is perfectly justified.

I don't understand why people are complaining.

Is it some kind of disease to complain about something you could ignore?

Click on "Manage Profile" in the upper right corner and then add "Het" in the "blacklist tags" field.

Problem solved.

They are doing this: 死もまた死するものなれば (Even death may die):

https://www.amazon.co.jp/-/en/海法-紀光/dp/4040740203

It's not yuri afaik. Last volume came out in March.

So I guess, they will start something new if they can.

After reading this chapter, I think that the angel with bloody swords we see at the end of chapter 13 is a H.L.O.O. member.

A confrontation to come?

So, she'll think she's dating a teacher there I bet.

It's been obvious for a while that Shizuku lets Saori have her way.

She's a true delinquent and in flashbacks, it looks like she had blood on her hands and used a knife.

So, author is making it obvious that she likes Saori. Both communicate with violence anyway.

I don't remember anything of this student teacher pairing?

Most of their relationship takes places in the chapters of the original series... that haven't been translated yet (so, post ch70)

The scanlation of the original series just reached vol3 I think.

But 5 volumes are already out in Japan.

So since he's the "purest blood" of angel...I assume both of his parents were angels. Which raises some questions...

Are we going we to get a reveal that he's Glamor's brother? Turns out her father is a rapist...

That would be an extremely dark reveal, I wonder how things will unfold.

I don't think so.

Noticed that Glamor and her father both have the same hair and eye color? Author made it obvious that some traits are inherited.

Theo doesn't share any of these with either Glamor or her father.

So, I doubt her father is the one. He didn't strike me as a scummy guy, but rather as straight as a ramrod.

Urgh, I hate that sort of "rescue somebody" romantic/friendship development. Guy's been an asshole to her the entire time, but, hey, it's okay, but he's shown some basic decency once ...

I think that his own circumstances make that he does not open easily to others. We can infer that he's an illegitimate child from some high ranked angel, that's been abandoned to his own device and found refuge with Sera who actually sees value in him.

He seems to be very serious about his job. From the reaction of the other demon, we can see it's not the first time he snaps. And we can also see he's quite ripped (arms and abs) so he's not to be trifled with.

To be an asshole is his own defense mechanism against being used. I think that after spending some time with Ganko, he realized that he's been unfair to her, because she's not like other people : she's really innocent and she doesn't judge him. Plus, the fact that he seems to hate the idea of rape that could lead to a child.

So, I don't think it comes out of nowhere. It's character development.

End of page 3: fast forward to a wedding (with a "new" partner for the the girl I guess). The boy is in middle school, he wears a gakuran. The woman (his own mother?) , the little girl (his little sister?) and the boy are attendees of the wedding.

Not necessarily a new partner for the girl. She could have followed the boy's recommendation and been persistent with her girlfriend until she agreed to take her back, then they stayed together and eventually had a ceremony whether her mom approved or not.

What? I think you didn't read the actual translation at bottom of page 1 of comments. The one who cursed was the mother and the partner broke up. Why would they come back??

And there's obviously a delay between the dialogue about the breakup and the wedding, because the boy went from elementary to middleschool (so, maybe a couple years?).

So, the odds are, it's a new girl.

Was the boy her brother, one of her students, or just a friend? He didn't look old enoygh to be a serious romantic prospect.

Edit: Even reading Kirin-kun's quick translation left me confused, about it.

Seriously I don't get the boy's relationship to the girl. I've read the story twice. He seems to be a student where the girl is student teaching or something. He apparently has a room where she lives. Unless she is sneaking into his dorm room. He knows her parents. So they must know each other outside of school. Then there is the one panel of a woman, the boy, and a little girl on pg 3, that I can't figure out. It's almost like they are suggesting he's the older one. Which obviously can't be the case. I mean he looks like freakin an elementary schooler in the bottom panel of pg 2. Can anyone PLEASE clue me in.

Page 1: Present time, the woman is a teacher and the dejected looking boy is one of her students. They seems to be in middleschool.

Page 2 is a flashback: the boy is in elementary school and the girl is still in college, so they should have something like 10 years difference. They are childhood friend and neighbors, obviously. The college version of the girl just went through a break up, because her mother cursed at the person she brought home, so she came into the boy's room to complain. He calls the girl Onee-chan and mother "Oba-chan" (old woman/auntie), so they are close, but are not siblings.

End of page 3: fast forward to a wedding (with a "new" partner for the the girl I guess). The boy is in middle school, he wears a gakuran. The woman (his own mother?) , the little girl (his little sister?) and the boy are attendees of the wedding.

Page 4 : The punchline. Seeing the outfits, this is a Shinto (religious) wedding, where they exchange vows, not an official wedding.

What's a bit confusing is that there's 3 sequences in time. Page 1 happens just after page 4.

That kind of "surprise ending" is easier in Japanese, because pronouns can be completely omitted.

It's a lot more difficult in English, where you have to use "they" and "them", or avoid pronouns altogether if you want to stay neutral and it quickly sounds awkward in English.

If I follow the remarks here, the first three pages are just a setup for the final reveal that the girl was a lesbian all along, and the gender of her lover is never mentioned previously. Though she did broke up with one, because her mother insulted them.

It makes a lot more sense why the boy was depressed. He never had a chance.

Is there something to understand here?

It's like the author crammed all the characters in a single chapter, instead of introducing them as it goes.

The title in Japanese is actually a parody of a LL song title.

"Where can you find courage? In your heart!"

So I guess only LL fans would get the reference.
