They're just stretching, just like on the cover for the first volume.

It feels like I have to give up watching this anime after episode 8 but I must wait til the finale to decide whether is normal ending or yuri ending. Episode 8 will be pre-apocalyptic scenario after the statement describes that if the injection of Armed virus into a clone was succeed into the future, there'd be no more Liberators and Exstars.

That doesn't preclude of girls/women being naturally infected, it just means that they can make an army for themselves and not worry in finding suitable Liberators/Ecstas.

Hell, her new form can be seen as being a showing of the love she feels for Mirei.

I guess we see things differently, after all, why did she power up? Because of Akira/Hilholde :P Furthering the 'fated for each other' cause she didn't respond that way to Mirei.

Mirei may have not been a willing participant in the experiments, I don't know why people assume that, the shame she feels of her form kind of supports it. And before you say, 'well in the flashback she seemed pretty obedient', that just means that they could've 'beaten' her into submission. As for Momoka it's kind of clear she's gonna be the baddie when she 'transfers' or at least based on what they showed of her.

The last ep I remember was the one about mycroft (i think) blowing up his warehouse.

That would be early season 2.

The last season was pretty meh for me, but this season is pretty interesting. John Noble is awesome.

Considering what is said about her other works Cooking for Love by Robin Roseau is a good, and very short (8k words) story.

I've read that Roseau is actually a guy pretending to be a woman (and not in the transgender sort of way either). Made up a whole backstory for his persona and everything.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was true, but for the moment I'll assume she's a woman (with fetishes for abuse/dysfunctional relationships), until proof surfaces.

Haven't watched the episode yet, cause Commie's isn't out yet, but the full OP song is out for those interested.

The second episode is available for download from avistaz for anyone curious. There's no translation for that one so far. And yes, koneko and Gengar, it's a yuri drama.

Her stuff isn't usually very good, huh? I found it kinda suspicious that she churned out novels one after the other, but I don't have much of an interest in shapeshifters so I never checked out her main series.

I wouldn't say not very good in terms of writing, because her writing is good. Just in terms what she does with the characters looks like almost every longer book the MC is either abused or is the abusee in the relationship. There's even a book or two with Stockholm Syndrome and rape as well, which is made okay because the one who is subjected to that forgives the other woman because she apologized or something

The latest episode of Elementary had a bunch of queer people and only one of them turned out to be a murderer! Amazing.
In all seriousness though, crime procedurals tend to feature LGBT characters as either murderers or murder victims, and their Very Special Episodes can be... disappointing. Elementary's LGBT characters are usually friends, consultants or associates of the main characters' and their sexuality/identity is mentioned in passing as just another thing of note about them. I do wish they had a recurring queer character though.

There is a chance for a recurring queer character. The detective that had a beef with Watson, she's gay and I've generally seen her in series where she is in a few episodes and not just one.

Man, Hina is just too adorable. Looks like she doesn't realize her crush xD

Something in the Wine by Jay is a good read. Mostly comedic. The plot is a straight woman and a lesbian woman band to play a prank on the straight woman's brother because he set them up on a date. They want to get back at him by wanting to convince him that his sister has turned gay.

Kitsune Spirit

Does any one know of any fantasy romance books? By that i mean something like Grorgia Beers would write but set in a fantasy realm of elves and whatever. But without the adventure or evil overlord and such.

Maybe L-J Baker's works? I've only read Promises, Promises (which was fun but probably not what you're looking for) but I've heard good things about Broken Wings and from the looks of it, it's basically romance in a fantasy world.

Broken Wings is good for 3/4 of the book until the drama is ramped so high that it really brought it down in my eyes. And the MCs love interest was more or less a doormat.

"Good enough to eat", thats the title. xD I think the author is Alison Gray.

yes, thanks xD

Hot Line by the same author is a nice and short (and a little smutty) story. You'll probably like it.

It is now marked anyhow. Err on the side of caution, thanks.

Should be obvious it isn't a spoiler, but fair enough (:

Oh, my bad then.

's all good.

You want a spoiler how it progressed or how it turned out? Or that I should tag that as a spoiler?

Tag that as spoiler. At least it sounds pretty spoilery to me and kinda ruins the entire build up. Unless it is that obvious that is why you didn't bother to.

It's obvious, plus it shouldn't be a surprise that it is revealed. After all the other girl has no idea about what the MC does besides having the company.

It is when ruffling in significant amount is occurring. Elementary, my dear telamon!

this couple do have a lot of hair ruffling

Ah, hair ruffling? I see.

The built up towards the reveal of the MC being an assassin to her love interest was spectacular and when the reveal happened I had no doubt it would turn out like it did.

Spoiler?

Alright, I've finished Engravings of Wraith by Keira Dellacroix and I can't recommend it enough. The built up towards the reveal of the MC being an assassin to her love interest was spectacular and when the reveal happened I had no doubt it would turn out like it did.

It's probably one of the best non fanfic works I've read. Even if that's not a lot.

Is it just me or does it seem cut-off at the end?

Shit just got real

Akira discovers a some sort of secret facility that was used in the construction of the island thanks to information she got from outside (that thing she picked up at the end of the previous episode, I guess). She summons LadyLady, Meifon, Mirei and Mamori to this place, where Mirei and Mamori are attacked by an artificial Arm. Mirei is defeated. As the artificial arm approaches Mamori, a bright light emanates from her body and she transforms!

http://valkyriedrive.jp/anime/story/

Gets wielded by Akira and she falls for her hard, says fuck you to Mirei and they live happily ever after. The end

Edit: Which now that I think about it, could very well happen. The way they're setting up AkiraxMamori and how Mirei has only been useful in the first two episodes prior to Akira showing up. Besides those two episodes she has almost always been beaten and has had someone else to rescue her/them and the majority of those times it was Akira that did, literally Mamori's knight in shining armor to the rescue. And now if this is true, then that just adds one more to the tally of how Mirei is useless.

And no, the 'rape' scene doesn't count because Mamori thought she was having sex/getting it on with Akira. Which as you probably guess is another minus to it xD

Hmm, anyone got the real title of the doujin that's on the cover?

Sou da! Hishochi ni ikou!

Which translate to: "That's right! Let's go to summer resort!"

I'm not really sure if that is "true" title ;x

It would still work, it is on the cover after all xD Now if only a mod could replace the 'Toki x Ryuuka' title with the one you provided :] Thanks.
