Fuji is speed-running being gay and I am here for it. I was expecting her to hesitate about loving another woman, having been raised in a shrine and all that, but she is too far gone to be held back by social norms. Truly an icon of our generation.
My thought is that Kishiya actually is 19 - "old enough to be in college," which is something she's said before - but was held back in school for some reason.
for 4 years?????
Technically you only need to be delayed one year and have a well timed birthday.
yeah but the page on which it is revealed she's in high school puts her in the first year, so she would have to have been held back 4 times to be 19
I doubt she's actually that old, considering it's been established that the school she goes to, Seirin Academy, has considerably stricter academic standards than the school most of the cast goes to. If she flunked multiple grades in the past I doubt she would have been able to get in.
It's probably just a situation where she needs to hide her age for some reason, or people just assume she's older than she actually is and she just goes along with it.
Is it possible that after middle school she couldn't afford Highschool tuition for whatever reason and has been saving up?
Yikes
"In another story, the extra mouth is formed when a stingy woman is accidentally hit in the head by her husband's axe while he is chopping wood, and the wound never heals. Other stories have the woman as a mother who lets her stepchild die of starvation while keeping her own offspring well fed; presumably, the spirit of the neglected child lodges itself in the stepmother's or the surviving daughter's body to exact revenge.,"
The forehead shadow, which could mean many things, including disgust, fear, deviousness, and more. It's interesting how it's slanted, though. You can see it also on the wall behind her, which could mean it's only from a banner casting an actual shadow. This creates a situation where it could very well end up being foreshadowing, or a total red herring meant to troll readers.
That could very well be for the purpose of a somber mood, that's how I saw it anyhow
Idk why but I get the feeling that someone murdered her. Something about that girl talking on the tv at the beginning of the second chapter just made me think “this bitch killed her”. Maybe she got jealous of our ghost girl’s popularity/talent and wanted her out of the group…permanently? Maybe the other idol girls were in on it?
I got a similar vibe.
Those eyes really don't help, I get what y'all mean
How did some of you fail to see that Tanya is a child with how she both looks and acts?
Manga and anime have taught me to never judge a character's age based on anything. Unless it's explicitly stated, it's really best to consider all possibilities.
Then there's series like Nanoha where the stated ages are all lies
Itou so sad she doesn't get her on slice of Akane hahahahahhaa. AND the Childhood best friend shows up!? Next chapter should be AMAZING! This series started out as just a lewd read but the story has really gotten so much better since the first few chapters I'm loving it and really can't wait for the next one.
I also can't wait for Akane to go back to work to hear what Nadeshiko told everyone at the drinking party lol. And the student council play at the very start was very lewd and... Yes please <3
Edit: Does Nadeshiko introduce herself as Akane's fiancé to Aya here at the start? That should stir the pot nicely haha.
would be great if Nadeshiko goes "hello I am her fiance" and then the childhood friend goes "bullshit I AM her fiance"
What's great about this is that instead of asking Asumi directly, Nanao is just picking a girl and hoping for the best - exactly the same thing that led Asumi down her current path of iniquity.
Considering these days the girls she’s picking is so diverse, it’s like she’s trying to prolong this search so she can have a reason to keep going to the brothel, despite the fact her horniness is all the reason she needs. Asumi is pretty the journey and not destination kind of gal, unless the destination is climax of course
AFAICT, Asumi is picking a new girl each time, still hoping to find Mai. The only 'repeat' was someone brought in on a threesome. Asumi seems to not trust the descriptions, or not have an idea of how Mai would have grown up or is presenting herself, so isn't going by descriptions the way Nanao did.
But she is primarily picking girls with the wrong hair colour
