Well, at least it was clear from the start that this was going to be slightly messed up as opposed to the eye story where she got her eye bitten out out of nowhere. It seems like Shimazaki has a knack for slightly messed up stories that still manage to be cute somehow... That breeding line is more than a bit screwed up, but I can only hope it's voluntary science babies and not how breeding usually works in real life... (granted, I know nothing about real-life breeding but still) I mean, it seems like the manager's a good person, so I doubt she'd let that kind of thing happen.

You know, I wonder how well this pet shop is doing anyhow since the manager seems to be buying a ton of the pets herself. It seems like it'd be a huge waste of money to me... although at least they're getting some (presumably) free labor though.

Asami did outright say that Touko was bragging about her boyfriend again, so this is, at best, cheating or, at worst... well, you know.

With this author, next chapter we learn that Touko is sleeping with a bunch of other girls. The fact that she knows the > nurse won't be back make me think she's accustomed to it.

Oh shoot, she's talking about a "Ayumin," not Touko. Whoops, disregard what I said then! I have more hope that this will end in a yuri fashion then.

Edit: I certainly wouldn't be surprised by that development... it's basically the same thing as Nadeshiko Hiyori except only one girl is sleeping with a bunch of other girls and not both of them... which is really not the same thing at all now that I think about it.

Maybe it's just me, but I liked the artwork here a lot better than the artwork in that other thing he wrote, even though they're basically the same thing... it's the subtle things that count, I guess.

Ah, another one of those "doing sexual things to gain power!!" kinda things. At least this is actually yuri though. I'm a bit incensed that pretty much all of the action yuri out there is super ecchi... I was so excited for Soul Eater with lesbians and then it just turned out to be girls randomly having sex with each other. On a random note, before watching the first episode Valkyrie Drive, I was like "I can watch anything with yuri even if it's the trashiest thing ever" but after watching just the first episode I realized "I can't watch trashy stuff like this..."

Anyhow, as for the manga itself. It was pretty good. I feel like I've read it many times before, but, yeah, it was interesting and, well, it had yuri, so that's something it has going for it. I have to say that arm growing thing out of recklessness kinda reminded me of (spoilers for Madoka Magica... I'm sure everyone's watched it by this point, but it's better to be safe than sorry) Mami's death though I'm sure it's a fairly common thing in action manga. At least she didn't get her head bitten off like Mami did.

Oh yeah, sorry that I forgot to mention the thing that would probably be a huge deciding factor for a lot of people. It's kinetic. I am gonna say though as someone who prefers the presence of choices, the lack of them here helps make the story feel more focused; it's still understandable though if it being kinetic will make some people dismiss it.

While I prefer VNs with choices, I don't really see anything wrong with kinetic novels either. They're basically just books but with pictures and music, and I like reading them (the good ones anyway) so I don't have a problem with them.

There are definitely a few like that. Most of Hanako Games' more recent games are basically VNs with some gameplay. I think there was a yuri VN beat-em up somewhere, but I forgot its name. But, yeah, I'm referring more to narrative kind of stuff.

That ramen scene kinda gave off a Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-chan vibe to me.... was that just me? It might be just that I view anything with ramen in it as giving off a Koizumi-chan vibe nowadays...

Anyhow, I'm kind of disappointed that the dom Hifumi scene got spoiled for me in the comments, but... it was still quite memorable. It just illustrates why I hate the fuck out of shoujo manga, but, regardless, it was still a good scene.

Also, Aoba always walks on on these "seemingly yuri but not really yuri" scenes, doesn't she? Hopefully, she'll walk in on a "seemingly yuri but, yes, it's actually yuri" scene one day. And then she'll think, "Oh, it's just another misunderstanding..." This is never gonna happen (maybe when the manga ends?), but I dunno, I hope it does.

The "Het on Page 5" tag repelled me... the "Yandere" tag drew me back in... I was feeling pretty repulsed with that double dildo mouth thing cause what the hell, and I was laughing my ass off at the rest of the sexy scenes... I don't know what it was about them, but there was something comical about them... maybe it's just because it's 1 AM and I'm procrastinating on a huge project but yeah, anyway.... I was thinking, "You know something's a bit off here" when she started to get into it and then I remembered the "Drugs" tag and I was like "I don't like where this is going" and, what do you know, I didn't like where it was going... okay, I have to admit that I kind of do. Relationships that are actually... relationships are obviously the best relationships, but relationships that are not really relationships like this relationship can be quite interesting sometimes... (just trying to see how many times I could use relationships in one sentence)

Soooo, it looks like it's going the incest route with the little sister character (unless she's not actually the little sister, I guess). This kind of turns me off from wanting to get the game, but, well, it sure is a good thing that the yandere girl can (and will) murder her! Crack is oftenly addressed to pairings that involve characters who aren't likely to be in a romantic relationship.
It's why only about a minority produce KyouMami content. Pixiv results are nowhere close to the towering MadoHomu & KyouSaya.

I don't want to get into a petty argument or anything, but I'd say that calling a ship a crack pairing means that it's completely insane and has no chance of ever happening. I mean, it's true that Kyouko x Mami is never going to happen, but I still think it has a better chance of happening compared to something completely insane like... Kyubey x Homura, for instance.

Crack content is pretty rare. That's a good thing; the less there is, the better.

But it's not crack... These two are just as canon as Kyouko/Sayaka if not more. They had far bigger connection in the manga that is based before the anime series.

Really wish it would get animated so people would stop with crack thing.

As much as I love KyoSaya, this is very true... granted, I never read Different Story or anything else, but I did listen to the drama CD and read the TV Tropes page, so... that's something. Anyway, there's no reason to fight over what's better between KyoSaya and KyoMami. I love both equally (okay, I love KyoSaya a bit more, but KyoMami's great too). It's like I always say; if you have trouble picking a ship, go with the polyamory option! MamiKyoSaya FTW!

I don't think that having a bad ending precludes something from being good... sure, most yuri bad endings are BS, but this had a good story and was very well-thought, so I enjoyed it. Also, this isn't really yuri either, but that's beside the point. The art was quite nice, and I loved how badass MC was.
