I actually want an ending where Uta accepts her feelings and moves on.

BUT WHAT OF KAORU DAMN IT ? I know people want Uta to move on but we clearly see the only thing she move is her from her brother house to her parents. She still isn't over her feelings, that's why she leave and what of Kaoru ? We let her alone and depressed ? I know Kaoru haven't done much things but that's not a reason to just focus on Uta because poor baby girl is brokenheart and can't face it.

Eh, Kaoru seems like she can hold her own, as long as she keeps on wishing for everything to go back to the way it used to be, plus it would be nice to see her grow as a character to and by that I mean facing problems head on like Uta does, heck she even tried doing that with Uta and it worked, Uta told her she loved her so I guess Kaoru's developing a bit(?)

You're right, Uta has a broken heart. That's why she's moving out, so she can get over Kaoru. She can face it, she's been facing it ever since Kaoru and Reiichi got married. If you're really concerned about Kaoru I guess once Uta gets over her she could go back to them. If anything her love brings her more pain than pleasure.

Also if Uta does get together with Kaoru, due to Reiichi cheating on her (if the story takes that kind of turn), I would feel very very very bad for Uta, Kaoru would just be plain using her to fill in the gap of her love for Reiichi since she's stated before that they give off the same vibe. Plus, Kaoru turned her down already. Her dening Kaoru in this chapter shows she's trying very hard to move on, and I think that's what she should do.

Maybe I'm just being dramatic but I guess if you had an unrequited love, you would understand that moving is the best option for Uta. This story hasn't been a fairytale up till now and I don't want the ending to be one either.

Honestly, if Kaoru and Uta get together I personally would feel the story turned to a cheap ending so I actually want an ending where Uta accepts her feelings and moves on. I really haven't seen a manga with this much development that focuses on a character really growing after healing from a broken heart.

So that part where she confessed to her was just part of the story/her imagination, huh

It's literally the first chapter? The way the allegedly-pregnant woman bites her nail while wondering where the heroine disappeared to clearly indicates that something is going on there.

Of course whether it's some sort of love-triangle or something else we don't know. But it's Kodama. ^^

Either way; it's kinda ... bland? I don't know. All seems like stuff that's been done too often before.

"I only banged your bf because I wuv you" seems like a very poor way of picking up girls to me, but then again, her bf was a scumbag cheater, so what do I know.

I don't know, this one rubbed me the wrong way a bit. I do hope the gf tries to become less possessive and more social, but if not, that she doesn't become worse

At the end you can see she's trying to make an effort to be less possessive
Although the "she's too easy" bit is still concerning but we can hope for the best

So she's trying to steer her away from finding out her true feelings, at first I felt bad because her feelings were unrequited but I guess I can't feel that bad now

She leave someone she love but hurt her in a not really mean way to go to someone she don't really appreciate and will probably hurt her more. Did i'm really an utopist to wish a Kaoru/Uta ending ?

Chapter 25 summary:

Risako and Uta’s conversation... goes nowhere. Like many people have guessed, it’s confirmed here that Risako is Reiichi’s ex. Nothing about the cheating gets revealed, and their small talk is cut short by Uta, who says she needs to prepare for her move. Some unimportant farewell party takes place and then at the end, as Uta says goodbye to Kaoru. the latter subconsciously reaches out and holds Uta back, but Uta pulls herself out of Kaoru’s grasp and leaves.

If the cheating is real then it's way worse if it's with his ex. Can you precise me one thing. It's a goodbye or a farewell ? Because a simple goodbye mean she stillwant to see her whereas a farewell mean she stick to her words and don't want to see Kaoru anymore. Also with your summary, it's just (again) a empty chapter. Nothing happen beside Kaoru being on the verge to make a big mistake.

Well it does seem empty but at least it might lead this to a good ending, which could be either Uta and Kaoru get together (very improbable) or Uta moves on and finds someone else

Although after Uta moves out I'm scared to see what will happen to Kaoru
