Nope (well, I didn’t at least), it was revealed to us that her dad was involved in the industry and was interested in meeting Koga in the chapter before that, so when freckles talked to Koga it was assumed that was what she was inviting her over for.

Although I try to stay out of the plot-prediction business*, I find it hard to believe that the story is going the “no prom at all” route after going to the trouble of setting it up. Maybe a “leave the producer’s party early and hit the prom together” twist.

I’d like to see that twist happen, especially cuz Narita set up prom FOR THEM, but Aya isn’t going either (unless the family gathering stuff turns out to be a lie) and the prom is a great chance for Koga to socially network with important people from the industry

The only way I see Koga not going to the party with the music industry folks, is if she decides she doesn’t really like fame and would rather stay independent— but even then, there’s literally no downside to getting to meet with the people in the music industry

So either Minami drops the underclassman and goes back to yuzu OR yuzu has to “compete” with the kouhai and “earn” back her right to date minami, to make up for rejecting her the first time.
