@Karretch A chipped tooth wouldnt significantly alter your pronunciation- but if a big bit, like half of it was missing, some word sounds would have a kinda breathy whistle sound on their end. I've done it myself. But her chip looks pretty minor tbh.

It seems to be moving fast in how close they got. Its like weeks or a month passess between each chapter rather than a few days? Thats what it feels like to me- like im missing half their story of how they became close.

If it is skipping multiple weeks I wish it would tell you so i had a better sense of time passing.

I think she is gonna actively be persuing XingXing going forward? GuGu seems pretty brave and proactive.

@Iski123 I assume their schools dont have fancy names, each district just calls its schools middle school 1, middle school2, etc- so people just say 'im from middle school 4' or whatever.

@Smolgirl @Bekichan Are you relatively new to anime/manga? Young girls almost always use their name instead of 'I'. Its a Japan thing. If you are used to it then it makes them seem TOTALLY child like and cute.

Ofcourse subs will often not include that detail which is very unfortunate and bad translating imo but you can still hear it in anime if you pay attention even if its not in the subs. Its normally elementary school age girls and middle school girls to a lesser extent. Very few highschool girl characters do it unless they want to sound cutesy.

As Kojiro481 mentioned one of the more famous middle schoolers who still does it is Akari from yuru yuri.

@rainbow8 You say that but you'd be suprised- there are countries in europe where the tap water isnt great- i've even heard in various states in america you cant drink the tap water?

Yup :) It was very well done- she denied what the lady said out of reflex and hadnt ever thought about it- but as soon as that turned out to be an option and she had just shot it down herself, she felt her heart fall and instantly realised she wanted that- and was brave and smart enough to take steps right away.

I love stories like this! I hope the author does at least 1 follow up- i'd love to see a little bit more of them!

Is the tap water in Japan not drinkable or a bit minging? At least here in the uk only a very small % of people would only drink bottled water at home.

p.s I get a lot of headaches.. i doubt its related but it wouldnt hurt to try drinking more water i guess.. never heard before they can be caused by being a bit dehydrated.

@ArcaJ Any kinda sudden shock can cure them- like being dowsed in cold water or a really loud suprise noise just behind you etc. So a sudden deep kiss in class might well do it too lol. None of them are guaranteed but im sure this could work.

Meh, this doesn't do it for me. The setup is way too artificial, it's totally unrealistic for somebody's first statement towards the person they're going to be living with to be calling them a dumbass unprovoked. You could say it's a stage persona without trying to deny your new sister a chance to even get along with you.

The main thing I think you are forgetting is how different she is to her stage persona - how she thinks those kinda fans are dumasses for believing she is that kinda person and probably resents them and the role she is stuck in- and she KNOWS her new sister is one of the most fanatical and therefor gullible of her fans.

Ofcourse she is gonna hold her in very low esteem and does NOT want her bringing those stage expectations into her home- probably the one place she can be fully her real self.

That is obviously also just her real personality- she is a realist / pessimist- and seemingly just not open to being friendly with her atm. I dont see anything unrealistic about it really,

Well- i think there is at least quite a few uncomfortable / or who flat out dont read loli who would profer this one stays wholesome- and given their ages that basically means no yuri unless its with some other pairing.

There isnt gonna be any incest lol. Their parents are not even married yet- and even once they are- im sorry but incest ONLY exists between blood relatives. Thats litterally the definition of it. Just because their parents marry means nothing. They wont even know each other let alone be related in any way meaningful to the idea of it being incest.

If you have siblings together as a family since very young who are not related but spend their childhood growing up together as sisters, I agree it would probably FEEL like incest to them- but it still wouldnt be. They could legally marry even.

And i assume nothing happened with Aoba and Hifumi too? Such a shame it never went anywhere with them!

It's definitely unusual to see something wholesome from Itou Hachi, and that's not sexual/romance between the age gap pair.

Hatchi did start off with 2 big series that were all just fluffy and wholesome! Though even then, they always seem, like in this series, to go with an adult woman and a little girl as the main pair.

This series looks like it will stay wholesome none yuri to me just because of the main character- her personality really just lends itself to comedy, not loli yuri -same with the familiars personality, and their interactions too. I'm fine with either tho- I love Itou Hatchi's fluffy stuff too. And for some reason this was pretty damn funny to me- a lot moreso than their other series.

I literally just re-read all of Kita's chapters yesterday and there were so many small details in her storyline line that clearly point to her being a transgirl. Thanks Ikeda for proving the tranphobes in the comments wrong

I was thinking they were either into crossdressing or were trans - was there anything in particular that makes you sure its the later? I've not gone back over all their panels so not sure what details i might be forgetting. Obviously wanting to crossdress does not always = being trans.

@ Mr. Jones she was blunt yes lol- but if thats the case he will probably still be glad to talk to someone about it.

@RadiosAreObsolete If we are talking when ch1 is set, it seems to be early on but AFTER the other chapters so far-
but tbh I think what that is is a more or less stand alone chapter- it was probably the test chapter that got the ok to become a serial and then the author kinda starts again, and thus they dont really fit great.

I doubt the author will bother to intergrate it in and show us when it occures- but like i said it does seem to be after these initial meeting chapters but before they properly know each other-so just consider it a flash forward to somewhere in the teens. All the other chapters are just sequential so its not like we have wierd jumping back and forth if you set aside ch1.
