Shinobu do the same thing in Shoujo Sect, but in the end she ended up with Momoko as it was meant to be. Than afterwards both Shinobu & Momoko ended up with a three-way relationship with Maya, so if the story turns out in a similar to that than am good.

Wow why do people has negative comments in here? I mean chapter 2 was really the start. It’s interesting that Yuu knows what Emi’s fixation is her all along, her obsession and possesiveness to her. But Yuu didn’t give a fvck to stop her bestfriend or to stay away, instead felt this superiority complex. The girl that the guys ever want to, and other girls getting envious to just has one single person she likes, and it’s Yuu. And that’s One time rule? They obviously talked. That senpai isn’t the first to be in this rule. Probably this rule started when they’re still highschool.

But it’s kind of weird that Emi doesn’t realize why she likes Yuu so much... Emi you’re just gay for Yuu.

It's because people like complaining about random things & they don't try to understand the characters in story.

The way Matsuri addresses to Harumi during the wedding is still formal (Taniguchi-senpai in the translation, also formal in the Japanese version) and doesn't show a spectacular shift in their relationship toward being girlfriends. So it is a mystery for the moment what the author has really in store for the cast especially if the setting is before the marriage.

My shipper goggles made me read that exchange between them during the wedding, about who will get the bouquet and whatnot, as sarcastic lol

well sometimes if a under classman starts to date a upper classman they still call them their senpai.

Because the ending is rushed, all the drama turned out to be fake, no sex scene, wedding with no explanation, all the side characters conflicts remain unresolved, and Mei holds the title as worst character of the series. Seriously, Mei is so bad that she was absent most of the last volume.

Thats why people are complaining, and no random lesbian marriage can fix these glaring problems with the series.

How was it good by any standard? As an actual story it doesnt make a damn lick of sense. Almost all the conflicts and plot points were just swept aside like they didnt even exist in the first place. There is absolutely no character development. Mei wasnt even present during the majority of the last volume. Its just so god awful that its hard to imagine that anyone genuinely believes that this was "good".

People have gone into extensive detail about what went wrong with this series, what its good and bad aspects have been, how it could have been improved, what it did well or (mostly) poorly compared to other manga series, and they’ve put forth detailed analyses of the characters and their inconsistencies, etc.

Those are “opinions,” yes, but those are “opinions” presented along with “reasons,” “arguments,” and “evidence,” which combined together are called “literary/artistic criticism.”

“How is it good by any standard?” is a real question which (theoretically) someone who really liked the story could answer.

But complaining about people’s “ideologies” is just gibberish.

Summary of Citrus:

1. Mei = sexy nutcase, drama was all in her head...arguably worse than NTR's Hotaru
2. Yuzu = dumbass MC, can't close deals so never delivered Yuzutop
3. Matsuri = only person with brains, winner of Friend of the Year Award
4. Harumi = average person, proof that "nice girls finish last"

Can't say I wasn't happy with the ending. Thank you Sabu, now we can RIP.
