Yes this is Incest. Artoria is Mordred's parent, just in a very round about way. They're two completely separate ​characters with their own agency, and a large piece of Mordred's character revolves around how much she wants her "dad's" approval, which is Artoria. Mordred doesn't like her mom (Morgan), this plays into how Semiramis reminds Mordred of Morgan, and she immediately doesn't like Semiramis because of it.

Kind of on a similar note but with less of a family dynamic, Conner Kent is a lab made clone of Clark Kent, but is entirely a different person and he's a unique character with agency entirely separate from Superman. In a way he's basically the offspring of Superman since he was made from his DNA. That's basically the gist of "clone" characters like these, they're just round about "kids" made from DNA that didn't go through a more standard process of a sperm impregnating an egg, along with a more traditional means of birth.

As for Saber Alter, she's not a clone and is still Artoria but a different version of her for various reasons. So Mordred would still be fucking a version of her "dad" here and that counts as incest I think. I might be forgetting a couple details, but yes it's all complicated and confusing haha

I don't know for me I've never been a fan of the whole everyone is yuri trope

I guess if there's a large group I just want to see more diversity in the pairing
I feel the same way when I read a shoujo where every girl get's paired off with a dude
I always kinda hope that at least one of the girls might catch feelings for another girl

Well fair enough, to each their own. I definitely don't disagree that diversity is good and I often like to see it. However it's also not a problem for me when it's just focused on gay characters, and their relationships and lives. I'm not worried about heterosexual representation as the majority of media is already that. Also I honestly can't think of any time I've ever seen a Shoujo manga or anime with a gay side pair, male or female. Though maybe there's one out there haha

I don't see why that matters personally, sometimes it's fun to have an entirely gay cast. Also seems like an odd generalization as I've read many Yuri manga with straight female characters and friends, some even with straight male friends, but again most of us are probably here for the gay so I don't see why a heterosexual character is so important haha

Maybe it's the supposed "realism" aspect where I've heard people say "oh there's not actually THAT many gay people", but I mean even if that's true I don't read stories for realism necessarily. Plus with acceptance and tolerance on the rise there's many more people opening up about about their sexuality, more people exploring their sexuality, and it's also not uncommon for gay people to befriend other gay people anyways.

As a gay woman, I'm actually kinda glad for that kind of escapism if I'm being fully honest. Real life often has little in common with your classic Yuri manga reality, but it's fun to sorta project myself into a world where there's a ton of gay people around and it's no big deal at all. It might only be me, I guess ^^

I'm glad you responded to me though, I fully agree with you and I don't think it's an only you thing. Stories can be great for escapism as you said, and it's nice to immerse one's self in a world where gay people are common and it's entirely accepted as no big deal. I think that's also exactly why some authors write stories like that, and for the same reason there's an audience for them.

Well it sounds like in her case she’s less telling people off for the sake of it, but more like warning them so they don’t get held up by teachers. She even says “I don’t care normally but you should probably wear your uniform properly because its an inspection day”

Also this yeah, it's mostly the teachers that care a lot of the time.

From what I know Japanese society still commonly has a very "nail that sticks out get hammered down" mentality. I've heard of things like teachers will sometimes have a can of black hair spray for if a kid dyes their hair, and other things like that.

Hoo boy, the content is great but the paneling can be a bit confusing to navigate. I think each individual panel is consistently right to left in dialogue but the order to read the panels isn't consistent from page to page.

Yeah it's very confusing to read unfortunately. That said the art is great and I'm happy to see this here.

Thanks for the wonderful batch upload! Very cute stuff, the one thing that bothers me is the idea of a scar being a "waste of beautiful skin". Scars are history and something many people get over the course of their life, they say we have lived and endured, personally I think that's beautiful in it's own way.
