They got me with that last page. I thought it'd be another story about one girl hitting her head against a brick wall. But as it turns out it'll be two brick walls smashing against each other. And not in a fun way.
But I'm game for more.

I just hope that this has some romance and won't end in an ambiguous ending. Now, the lack of romance and ambiguity fitted this author's last work like a glove, but in this case, I wouldn't mind having a little romance in addition to my retrospection cereal about finding things you enjoy and whatnot.

Still, can't wait for more. I'm curious about Sakura and how she'll be developed. And I hope Takamine doesn't turn into Adachi and decides that the only thing she likes and will ever like is another girl.

Well if it really is ending soon then I'm glad. It has been losing steam by quite a lot in those last chapters and it especially took a dive when it started mirroring comments about "Is this yuri?!"

So why are people so mean to Omiichi? She's a kid herself and even if she's older she understands she has to wait. I'd say the bigger issue is how out of nowhere all this came out to be, only to be used to push the original two dummies together. People treating her like she's some OL already.
Well, regardless I was afraid that this would be our "new" with those two (Koguma and Hino that is). "Well sure we make out for hours to end, have sex, and somehow got pregnant from it and married even though it's illegal but maybe she's just playing along" type of deal. But nah. If anything this sudden development left and right feels so out of place. Not that it wasn't earned.

I always rolled my eyes at the "phone battery runs out at an important time" till it happened to me. Now it's just too relatable to make fun of as a trope.

Yeah as obvious of a setup as this was, I really hoped they'd restrain themselves and wait a chapter or two to make it "pay off"

With so many Bocchi/Nijika doujins and all those Kita/Bocchi pictures, this scenario is the only acceptable middle ground.

Bless this author for taking their time with this. Usually, people try to convey more with less, but this could tell its story at a comfortable pace.
Also, it reminded me of the time I used to read fanfiction. A simple ship story with some extra drama here and there to make it spicy enough. Good times.

I know this isn't the first and not the last story to do it, but does this happen? Do people just get up to other people and grab them? And if so how often does that happen? I know I know, it was done to save time and jump right into the issue of this guy being a nuisance. But at that point just cut to Maki going back with drinks and show Julia in the distance looking distressed with a guy or two around her. I think social anxiety is common enough nowadays that it would be even more relatable to the viewers, really.

But that's just something that bugs me whenever a situation like this occurs in a manga. Otherwise, the story was cute as heck, and if this is this author's first uh... "official"? Professional? Release, then I can't wait to see more. I could even see this get a short serialization. We would just need enough "random, extreme situations" to put them into.

I thought this would be another "crazy OL lolicon drooling over kids" but it's just a sad, lonely woman being emotionally manipulated by them (kids) instead. I hope it turns towards wholesome tho' as it was implied at the end there.

It's like the "Paranormal Activity" movies. From the start, you know what kind of thing you're getting yourself into and you'll know if you'll be able to enjoy it or not.
It's fine for a one-shot like this. My only complaint is that the last few pages could spare us the detailed "breakup" stuff and just flash some wholesome moments of their new life together.

I see that all this pent-up sexual frustration is finally showing. But really, good for them. I'm not sure if I can even call it a slow burn with the amount of ehm "sexual harassment" (however consensual it had been). Maybe an emotional slow burn, yeah, let's go with that.
So where can we go from here? Them dancing about the "ambiguity" of their relationship? Because I can see this happening.

This chapter lured me into a false sense of security only to oof me up at the end there.
But I'm glad Riri isn't giving up yet. My biggest fear was her flip-flopping on her feelings. Sadly I think she'll have to experience a really hard crash to finally realize that she has no chance. Probably a kiss between the prez and the nurse (She was a nurse right? Or am I misremembering). Which will hopefully lead to a wholesome slow burn between her (Riri) and Uda.
I hope we get to see more of Prez and her relationship. I hope she's not just being a tool for the story.

I think half of the reason I want Talulah to be playable is just for Ch'en sake. I know a lot of people miss out on her for various reasons, mostly chalter, but I do like her arc and how sad it is.

Rereading this story with a different mindset, one assuming it's just a trainwreck of a situation happening between two awful human beings made this that much more entertaining.

Also, will we allow wrath to cover this gay revelation next chapter or will we move on and allow it to sink in with or without a rationalization?

I actually find that a lot of these Korean and Chinese stories tend to have at least 2 pairs of "main" couples that are developed over time (ex. "My Food is Very Cute Today," many more but I realize it'll be too much to list). I wouldn't say they're getting bored, it seems purposeful and planned. So many series have done it that I assume the audience just likes the variety of stories. I tend to like it myself and have also come to expect it. You can often tell pretty early. It's actually rare that I find a series that doesn't have at least 2 pairs that are developed at different times (and often concurrently). It's like an A plot and B plot.

No worries, I get that. It was just my way of saying that the "title couple" (since we have multiple main couples now) isn't really doing anything right now. Anything fun, at least. For the time being the plot is being brushed to the side to grow in the background, and their relationship isn't exactly either spicy or wholesome. It's just there. Hence why I said that the other main couple is that much more fun to follow.

I thought I missed a chapter. We really just jumped from one point to the other. Did we get introduced to this Gu Yi character before? And I don't just mean her being somewhere in the background or whatever.

She was the previous boss. We saw her earlier at the dinner for Pei's arrival. She has things to say then. She was known to be a bit mean (or fixated) on Liao. Now we know why, I guess. Seems she bought those rumors that Ren and Liao were an item during college. Or Ren actually did like Liao back then but doesn't anymore. Either way it seems Gu swallowed her feelings during college because of this and regrets it.

Thanks, as charming as some of the art in this is, I didn't feel the urge to go through it again just to see if this character had in fact appeared before.
