Aw fuck, I wasn't ready for Nawatobi to be name-dropped at the end there. It's such a beautiful song, and this doujin really captures the spirit of it.

I'm now bracing myself for the massive blueballs when Hino inevitably does not suck on Koguma's breasts. I sometimes forget that this is a gag manga that specializes in faking out the reader just when we think something lewd or suggestive might happen. This cliffhanger has been dragging on for a couple chapters now, so I'll bet we're just being set up to have the rug pulled out from us when nothing happens. This manga is also super gay and adorable though, so the odds aren't bad that some form of wholesome progress may be made in their relationship soon.

I have a bad feeling that, regardless of whether or not this series ever gets a proper conclusion, there'll never be any conclusive evidence as to whom Nadeshiko is dating. I think the point is that it's a mystery and we're not meant to ever find out. I feel like Ai is most likely based on all four of their reactions to the accidental kabedon, but honestly it could be anyone.

Haha, they took the initials HKY and slapped "English words that sounded cool" onto them...resulting in the glorious "Hyper Kettle Yesterday" for their group name. I love it.

Also how the hell did lizard senpai get pictures from opposite sides of Kou and Nene (in one picture Kou is on the right side and Nene is on the left, and in another they're swapped) while staying a sufficient enough distance away to not get caught in her totally-not-evil-and-creepy spying? Edit: I just realized Kou and Nene could have rotated...I was too caught up in imagining senpai snapping a pic, then making a mad dash as stealthily as possible in a large arc around them to get them from the other side for no reason.

I think I probably teared up a bit, yeah. I was mostly just blown away by the high quality of the songs they wrote for the musical.

In my opinion, this is hands down the best manga ever written. Nothing else in my life has made me crack up as much as this series, yet it also manages to be completely warm and touching at the same time. The lack of progress when it comes to the yuri actually works in its favor I think, since then even the tiniest hint of yuri has its impact amplified by multiple orders of magnitude (as an example, I fucking lost it with excitement when Himawari and Sakurako merely linked pinkies in Chapter 128). Plus, every panel with Toshinou Kyouko in it is pure gold, whether it be hilarious or heartwarming. She's one of the best characters I've encountered in pretty much any media. I'm very much looking forward to the future of this manga (I wonder if it'll actually ever truly end?).

This chapter just made me sad...Amane has such strong feelings still, yet Nene seems to be completely uninterested in her compared to how she used to be. Nene better have a damn good reason for breaking her heart, and I hope that either Amane is able to move on and get over her feelings, or Nene gets over whatever the hell made her stop liking Amane and reciprocates again.

An incredible American yuri VN, highly recommend it! Great characters, art, music, story, etc...

For me, it felt like this manga really came through in the last two chapters. Both of them actually made me laugh, and I feel they brought the series to a fitting enough conclusion. The rest was kind of underwhelming though.
