i thought the same thing at first, but that might just be because i saw someone posting in the forums with a hina avatar right before reading this.

could just be me, but it feels like we've gone past realism and into tedium.

Btw, I'm a bit puzzled by the statement: "Ah! And I'm not inviting you just 'cause mom told me to take you with me, okay?" Normally when a sunao girl like Imoko says something like this it means that, on the contrary, she's doing it precisely because of that reason... but Imoko does have a siscon crush on her big sis, and I'd think she would naturally have the idea of inviting Neeko all on her own, without need of any prodding by mom...

i think she's just clarifying because she doesn't want Neeko to think she's being tricked again after that shift at the game store.

I ship Neeko X proper mental health care more than I ship most couples on this site. Poor girl, she's suffering so much.

Neeko is struggling, but she's actually doing pretty well all things considered. going out at all when you are depressed is extremely difficult, and should be seen as a victory, even if it ended in a less than ideal way. it's progress.

that album is from 2018, and the drawing is dated 2017, so i'm not sure if that's correct. most of the extras are a reference to something though. movie posters, album art, etc.

not sure what else it could be referencing. maybe someone else will chime in.

Sorry for the long delay between chapters. I love this manga, but it's a lot of work to edit since it has so much floating text. Hopefully we can get the next one out sooner.

this was one of my favorite chapters to work on, but it was also challenging to translate/proofread. we did our best. <3

surprised that the response to the ending has been about 50% positive on here and MD. didn't expect it, but I'm glad people enjoyed it. <3

im really excited to see if the art style in her next thing is different, or if she'll use the same style again. pretty impressive for a first work to have so much character in the art though. usually that takes time to develop.

this was a lovely chapter. i am so attached to these two.

if anyone's been wondering about this one, we dropped it. new chapters came out and revealed that it's bait , and had a terrible ending. sorry if you were hoping for more.

That shot at the end with the magazine and Sae's picture of Riko could have been Riko's copy, since Sae didn't seem to be with it and would have no reason to leave it behind.

I hadn't thought of it that way. Maybe she left it on Riko's desk.

The author had absolutely no idea where she wanted to go with this. Is this what quick axing saves us from, and we just didn't know?

i don't think that is the case. in the first chapter she introduces Sae as Extra C. I think this was the planned ending, just not a good one.

nope. we had a hard time even understanding what they were talking about while translating. even native japanese speakers could not understand it.
