I think they have actually improved quite a bit. Kase was able to notice what Yamada was feeling and addressed it, and Yamada was able to relax and let that shit go. Also, if I was in Yamada's shoes I would have been a bit jealous as well. I mean there was a bunch of girls literally hanging on to and pressing against Kase.

Only one thing I can say about this

Like, honestly, I'm glad it ended at this point. I mean it could have gone on longer but I dunno. It feels right to end it here.
I still do like how the protag didn't fall in love with any of the high school girls but instead became something like a matron figure to them. Like it's realistic because I mean come on the hell does a high school girl has to offer a 30 year old anyway, outside of a warrant for their arrest.
