... You guys do know that many manga artists have a tendency to exaggerate the smallness of children compared to adults, right? Hell, even a mainstream manga/anime can have this weird disparity. I doubt the Detective Kids of Detective Conan are realistically sized for first-grade elementary children (i.e. circa age 6-7), for example; Genta, who's supposed to be unusually big for his age, barely reaches past the adults' waists, Mitsuhiko barely reaches waist level, and the other three aren't even close! They should all be a little over 1/2 an adult's height, not look like they're barely out of toddlerhood!

Britain is made up of England, Wales, and Scotland. So, if she's Scottish, she's also British by extension, and if she's British, then there's a decent chance she's Scottish.

I’m kinda clueless as to what the white loin clothes are meant for.

Even today there are some primitive tribes in remote areas of Third World countries where it's perfectly natural for their women to walk around wearing nothing but loinclothes, at least partly because they live in really hot climates. I assume these two girls are supposed to hail from such a tribe, probably in sub-Saharan Africa due to their very dark skin color.

Come on, give him a break. Mochiverse comics aren't the only thing he works on, and sooner or later he might actually overwork himself by accident or otherwise end up temporarily "burned out". If you're so impatient, go bug the guy who had been recently uploading all those comics to Danbooru; he's an actual translator, IIRC, yet he hasn't touched any of the Mochi stuff he uploaded.

... You know, from this thread and other ones on this site, I get the feeling that a lot of people frequenting this site have a thing against non-yuri stories in general. Is that right?

I mean, I get the complaints about this author's other work ending with a non-yuri relationship after spending the vast majority of its storyline giving the strong impression that it's going to end with a yuri relationship, and that's really shitty. But holding a big enough grudge that you'd never read another story by the author just because they might pull the same bait-and-switch ending again, even if the work has a unique/interesting premise? At least my hatred for Ken Akamatsu is over how severely he mishandled the way Negima's story concluded (both the actual plot and the harem subplot), his horrific flanderization of several characters in the much-reviled Sports Festival arc (Haruna and Yuuna are the biggest offenders), and then shitting all over what was good about Negima with the "sequel" that is UQ Holder.

I personally no longer have any faith in the author's actual understanding of the topic they tried to tackle with Neeko, so while I do think Aldehyde will try to set up a better future for Neeko in the end, without a proper medical understanding of the actual needs of people with severe anxiety and depression, any "better future" they come up with will be based on false assumptions and ultimately even more aggravating.

You say Aldehyde doesn't understand, but someone on MangaDex who claims to be an actual therapist seems to disagree. At the very least, they say that Aldehyde surprisingly nails several symptoms of actual mental conditions in Neeko.
