So I read through all 12 available chapters of this, and if anyone wants to see my reaction towards the whole thing, look no further than a gander to the cafe.

All I will say here is this, I loved Hotaru and her interactions with Yuma, I want to see them get together, and lastly, if this gets a yuri-end, it'll very likely be my be all and end all, yuri manga.

Glad to hear your thoughts on this series and that you actually like it. Can't say i share your opinion, since the reasons why you like it are exactly the reasons why i don't care about it at all. Still, its always nice to hear people's opinions on stuff you don't particularly like.

I'm really excited for the Citrus anime to be completely honest, but i'm wary about the NTR one due to the amount of het stuff it has. I'm willing to give it a chance though, so hopefully it gets a decent adaptation.

I would love to see a Bloom into you anime as well, but i think we'll have to wait a little longer for that one.

I think 2017 will be one of the most interesting years ever, I'm one of the fans which are happy about this, but yeah I wonder how they will end it, what would be the studio and more blablabla.

Read one of the last sentences, volume number three is coming on Friday in Japan, so maybe we can have enough stuff for 12 episodes when the anime is coming out.

Just heard about the anime adaption, HYPE. Although they could've picked literally anything else but ok... I'm still excited.

They picked NTR too, which is a million times worse than Citrus.

Wow, so we're going to get anime adaptations of two of the most hated yuri series? 2017 looking like a really interesting year for yuri. I don't know how they would make an anime out of this series though, it has way too few chapters to have a complete season. Maybe 6 episode OVAs?

As for how far the anime may go, the end of chapter 20 would be a perfect spot for a final scene.

The kiss of chapter 16 could also be quite good for a final scene, but i don't really think they could make a standard 12 episode adaptation out of just 16 chapters.

I began to wonder which character was trying their hardest to suppress their innermost feelings?
While I was tempted to say Subaru, I thought that he's actually acting on some of his feelings at least.
I decided it was Kotooka. Because it just seems that she's acting in a way to seem "normal", trying to get Tsukasa to hurry up and date guys, so she can give up her feelings. It comes across to me as the saddest situation of the bunch. She's trying to act in a way to basically lie to herself, and others, about what's truly in her heart. Whereas Nadeshiko just hides behind indifference. And Tsukasa gets caught up in the flow, wanting to hide her heart.
So I feel most sorry for Katooka.

in tsukasa's side, I feels she like giving up her love to washio too.

on the contrary, the one who trying hardest to make her love comes true is Washio. seems like she never give up with Kotooka even kotooka dating many guys and worse of it, bragging her boyfriends to washio. It is really become hell if Kotooka know Washio has feeling for her too.

Is she really trying though? I wouldn't call waiting on the sidelines trying. She's the only character who knows what she wants to do with her feelings, but she's hardly doing anything to actually convey them.

It was a matter of time tbh. They've been looking for an anime studio since late last year if i recall correctly.

I'm mildly impressed but worried by this so far. It's hinted at having a somewhat "real" story and delving into queerness a bit, especially with the brother character. It's subtle but compared to the way most works address a crossdresser, Subaru seems to have a bit more going on than 'lol siscon lol pretty clothes', I could see this going in an awkward 'the-mangaka-doesnt-understand-but-tries' trans-ish direction more than most otokonoko manga at the moment.

Best case scenario, this plays out with poly end for the main 3, trans/het end for the other two. Worst case is, well, what everyone here is already expecting. I can't say I have a lot of hope either, but speculatively I'm giving it a chance atm. Especially since the mangaka has literally no apparent record besides this one to compare to.

I think Subaru's sister complex is just a way to hide his actual preferences. It won't be out of place to think that he's forcing himself to think that he likes his sister just to hide the fact that he's into guys. Heck, it's almost this series theme so far, hiding your true feelings because of the fear of neglection. He's the most interesting character in the series so far, so i hope he's not just your average creepy dude in romantic comedy mangas.

Gotta hand it to Hachimitsu Scans, they're tanslating and scanlating everything faster than the pace in the manga, which is slower than molasses in slow mo. Keep up the amazing work.

Regarding the chapter, i've never been so bored so fast with a series. I really want to like it since Tsukasa is a charming MC and the love triangle she has with her friends could be really interesting if they didn't beat around the bushes so much. At least theres hope that we might see some things moving forward in chapter 6 since it seems that Tsukasa could be giving up on Washio soon.

Kootoka character is interesting. I hope the author develop her feeling bit better and realized or give up for trying hard to being 'normal'.

Asakura seems like good guys tho. Why am I saw homo aura between these Asakura and Subaru?

Everyone has been speculating that Glasses guy is actually in love with Subaru, but since we need drama, glasses guy can't go out with him since he's a guy too so he settles for the next best thing which is Tsukasa.

Does Dragonball even count for WTF, given part of the shtick from the start has involved weird poses?

Thats true, but Kotooka is the worst so far so i'm not really rooting for her. Although, i wouldn't mind if she ends up with Tsukasa's twin.

I just decided to catch up with the rough translations. They're not the best but I appreciate them. What's more, the series is SO MUCH BETTER right now. AAAAaaaahhh, It just puts this big smile on my face and sets my heart aflutter. I'm seriously in love with it; kind of wish I could read it raw every time it was released but I don't know the first thing about subscribing to Japanese publications (and I'm pretty sure Citrus is either magazine or mobile app only). Damn.

But like seriously, it's so damn good; not even ironic appreciation. I'm adoring it right now.

Its starting to get interesting, so i really hope it continues to go from there and not deviate too much since we know its near impossible for Saburouta to stay away from needless drama.

@Macy It would definitely hurt them in the long run. I think one of the main reasons people watch Hibike is due to the main characters relationship and if they just brushed aside that, many of their hardcore fans would end up hating and dropping the series entirely. At least thats what i think.

Not entirely true. Haven't read vol 4 yet but Kotooka at least knows everything.

I was hoping for someone that actually went through the last volumes to answer, considering I got tired of searching the older ones. but besides that, at Ch 18 they're still at the "make blissful/melancholic faces as soon as their love interest looks away, while Shiratori does friendship speeches" phase, so I guess it's still better for me to just wait for it to finish and then take a quick look.

So this turned out to be worst than Citrus at teasing I guess i'll do the same thing and wait for this series to end, hate when authors drag their stories for so long.

Ok, so i know i'm like mega super late to the party, but i just went into a Takemiya Jin binge and this particular series felt like the most realistic of all of her works. I'm still sad that Youko and Nana never ended up together since they were pretty much both in love with each other, but i guess thats how it is sometimes in life. Wish closure could be that easy in real life though. Thats the only part that bothered me a little about that relationship. Youko hasn't seen Nana in a long time and she acts like nothing ever happened and she even brushed her own feelings aside at the end which was the reason she got mad at Nana on the first place. I still can't forget an old love

Overall, pretty good, i just had that one minor issue with the series as a whole. Jin is my yuri goddess after reading all of her works.
