Isn't he the guy (I swear I wrote "the gay" at first, dang) swimming behind Shima on page 9, perhaps? At least I thought about him. Something something he was making pretty big movements or something like that. Maybe. Good memory really isn't a thing that exists I think.

I wondered about that too, but if it's supposed to be him then it's subtle enough that it can go without notice unless one is a Supreme AdaShima Weeb. //cough cough shifty eyes cough In the LN he's described as swimming without ever turning his head so he can ogle the lolis better.

It does seem that she did well up a little after thinking about how she's basically feeling powerless, yeah, but no it wasn't in the LN as far as I can recall. (Of course feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, my memory is Swiss cheese on even the best days.) But it seems that's why she's wiping her eyes after she comes back up to the surface with a sigh ("fuu"); she had goggles on so they wouldn't have been wet and needing wiped otherwise.

They left out the part with the creepy pedo, and as far as I recall her mother didn't pinch her side in passing, either, she just groused at her to behave and stop hogging a swimming lane for floating about like a dork. So seems like things got modified a tad.

(And I think the momentary flash of Adachi's profile was mostly just there for storyboard artistry purposes, so we could compare it to her mom's and suss out who she was before it was revealed like one whole page later lol.)

I wonder if the killer is a deeper subconcious part of Chihaya that wants Ouka to die. We were told that if that special bullet didn't hit right that the person would be stuck in a coma/limbo that there was no coming back from. So maybe all the other Chihayas are the part of her that naturally doesn't want Ouka to die but the killer is her realistic side that understands it's either death or eternal torment (or what feels like it) so she's tracking them all down to stop the cycle?

QC = quality control. QC people kind of fine tune or check for things like missing punctuation, misspellings, and grammar/syntax errors before release. I am one of two QC people on this project (both this, the light novel, and the manga release(s)), the other being Gilgamesh--who I don't think comes to these forums but I dunno, I've only ever briefly interacted with him by chance on reddit--and of course the translator who does all the hard work is sneikimmies. I got asked to help more permanently when I made a kinda jerk-y post about all the errors in an early chapter release, lol, you can still see it on like the first or second page of this thread...

Since being a QC person means I get to see the new chapters a few days before everyone else does when they're released, I like to tease sometimes. :) I don't get out much so I take my fun where I can get it. lol

Also, Adachi is just being an adorable lesbian dork that is trying her best to stop being passive with someone who clearly will never pick up on anything subtle. But hopefully she doesn't do anything that triggers my secondhand embarrassment issues, she already treads painfully close to doing so. lol

Now that the main characters are meeting each other's families, having them solely be referred to their last names is getting a bit awkward. It's fine for Shimamura's younger sister to call her "Sis," but it's more than a little strange for Adachi to have to point out that Shimamura's mother is referring to her elder daughter when she says "she," not to mention how impersonal it is. Besides, Shimamura doesn't even like her family name, so one would think that she'd suggest going by her first name (a bit like Umiko in New Game).

Yeah but... I don't think I could take things seriously with Adachi calling Shimamura "Hou-chan", lol... nor the opposite with Adachi being referred to as "Saku" if her prior nicknaming convention with Tarumi held true lol.

So that's the secret to me finding my own nerd girlfriend? To just draw their favorite OTPs? If I'd known that before.... /gets out graphics tablet

I found this randomly not long after messing with the part where Adachi was doing her best to come up with stuff they could do during her stay. And I found it amusingly appropriate, given they'd also played air hockey together before, lol

Just for the sake of being open and transparent, I contacted White Garden about this series on Nov 4th, and had their version of Ch 11 fully typeset by Nov 11th. We've been in the "quality checking" phase since then. I'm not clear on what exactly is holding up the process, but if you have experience quality checking and are willing to help, you can contact them here.

Hmmm. I went to go poke them... I like the manga and I've done editing and QC before. It'd be nice to see this one updating more regularly again. :) But alas the link says that that role is now "closed", so...?

Like a lot of the previous comments, I'm really hoping we get to see Shima be a bit more aware/not in denial soon. I'm expecting Adachi will keep increasing her efforts until Shima can't write it off with a rationalization sooner rather than later, Adachi definitely seems like she's trying to be more obvious now.

Yes. They're called "lesbian strip clubs" or something akin to that. Not very common though. Most stuff that caters to LGTBQ folks tend to be just your standard bar, in my experience anyways.

I put over the theory Asuka wasn't Atsushi's daughter because Ayako said she look like her father so it's kinda a given he is really her father. But the next page put me in doubt, what does Ayako mean with her sentence ?

I always read it as her thinking that Atsushi was only 2 years older than Asuka is now when he proposed, but I'm often wrong about many things.
