Upon feedback, I've replaced chapters 1-5 by ihosiku with 4s's redone versions, due to a number of errors in them that made later chapters and their development confusing and inconsistent.

Also, is there anyone with raws or just knowledge of them that can help order the series into Volumes?

V1: 1-5
V2: 6-10
V3: 10-16 (has 6 chapters rather than the usual 5 the previous two had)
Chapter 17 is the first chapter of the next volume.

The "Chapter 5.5: Extra" is the omake of volume 1. The "Volume 1 Extras" is the postscript.
The "Toranoana Extra" was probs released with Volume 1.
"Volume 2 Extras" contains some tank stuff + postscript of vol2
Hm. "Volume 3 Extras" isn't just extras tho, if you look at the numbering of the pages. It contains the interlude that is like, in the middle of v3, then the postscript, and then the extras, should probs be separated? (Since the interlude isn't meant to be read at the end of the volume, unlike the postscript and extras)

^^ Agreed, the typeface is ugly as hell. It does not represent the simplistic feeling that the original Japanese cover & artwork try to communicate, nor does it even fit with the nature of the story at all. This will probably look even worse on the 2nd and 3rd vol covers.

Ikr, it really puts me off. The jap font looks way better. I can't explain it, but it fits it well, it was like, simplistic and elegant.
I'm totally still buying them but rip that cover.
I wonder if I feel this way cus I'm used to seeing the jap ones. Or if the eng font is just drastically different and conveys the wrong mood

Their voices are perfect. I went out of my way and ordered all available volumes, which I had never done with any series before. I adore Nakatani Nio beyond words, and I think she deserves an anime adaptation of this no matter what.

It's certainly true that Nanashima's kiss was a lot more disgusting compared to Shima's even though they were both pretty much forced kisses... though the atmosphere and all that stuff of the Nanashima kiss scene was definitely a lot more disturbing. And the fact that he's a guy, there's that too.

They're both technically 'forced', but at Nishima did it relatively slowly, didn't like, push her down or anything. It's more like she 'stole' a kiss, did it more playfully. And Kae's reaction afterwards wasn't straight up being traumatized and scared

While I like this anime and all, it's kind of... forgettable, to be honest, especially compared to the other anime I'm watching right now (Flip Flappers). I watched Episode 10 yesterday and I don't really remember any other kisses... Spoilers for the 8th episode (I think at least) I think Nanashima might have kissed her during his sick dream thing, but I don't really remember. I wouldn't really count something like that as an actual kiss, but, yeah, I see your point. When did one of the dudes kiss her?

The lack of focus on the actual development of their relationship made the ending feel kinda dry. The whole "I wish she couldn't play anymore" + actual visualisation of it tho, pretty dark/scary/morbid. The entire point of this seemed to be more about Torii's thoughts and her eventual sense of guilt, but even after the accident happened, her guilt doesn't seem to be that important, she also stayed by Kai's side because she wanted to. It was a brief moment of "oh shit", and then they just hung out for idk how much time, got closer, and just seemed happy. It's like nothing came of the whole guilt thought process, made it look like Torii got over it really easily. Like ofc it wasn't actually her fault, it's good that she uh thought it through and 'got over it', but we don't see any of that. The second "half" (6 pages of 22...) really just glossed over/rushed the whole thing.

Besides, I think he failed to see the big picture, after he tried to ask her out and she "lied" and made up a lover on the spot. She really didn't make it sound like she was into him, but more like "get a hint".

Edit: Ah, just saw Alice Cheshire's post. Well that was what I had in mind. Like sure it's a bummer for him and all, but it wasn't meant to be that bad for him tbh, nor is it anyone's fault he got rejected, it's just how it is. (It's not like he had to be portrayed as a douchebag male character in yuri manga to justify his rejection)

Did you/anyone else get slightly confused by the wording/dialogue in ch7? Like I get the general idea/point, but it throws me off a little, like why they word it like that. Or maybe it's meant to be that confusing/ambiguous cus plot/desired flow of conversation to get to that point/twist
