Big thanks to the Chads for helping me with this! Without them, I would've procrastinated for months before staring this. Just a note: this doujin was published back in April 2019, five months before Angel's Toy was published. Since it didn't fit with the main timeline, I decided to translate the main story first.

There is so much callback and reference to the PreCure series in this I don't even know where to start. I'll just say that Mob Sensei appears to be not just an OC, but also Negom's version of a grown up Hishikawa Rikka. Some clues include:

• Rikka is from Doki Doki! PreCure, the series before Hugtto! Precure, and thus would be older now
• Rikka and Mob sensei share many similarities and motifs, such as color scheme & hairstyle
• Rikka's PreCure form was Cure Diamond. Hmm, what shape is Sensei's earrings in the "Angel's" series???

Clearly Sensei's still an OC, as she's never explicitly named, but she definitely seems inspired by Rikka.

The pages looked a bit... raw. I don't know if was the initial scanner quality, or the leveling was botched, but it was definitely off. I still really liked it! I love this artist's stuff on twitter, thanks for translating!

I have so many questions: Is that lion girl different or is it the same as the previous page? What happened to brown haired Roman girl then? Who skinned the lion, or is it saying the lion turned into a girl?

I was thinking about that when deciding the title, but basically, Japanese doesn't have an easy way of pluralizing words, so it could be either or. Also, 玩具 can be translated as "toy" or "plaything", which in some ways, could refer to Saaya or Sensei.

But honestly, it's because I translated the title before I read the book, and I didn't feel like changing it afterwards :P

Can't believe this series is two years old now. Negom has completed dominated the Hugtto! PreCure series with her OC and Saaya. I'm both impressed and scared.

The melonbooks site that sells 天使のカルテ (Angel's Chart) shows a page not from any of the previous works, but from what I can translate, it seems to be more of a teaser for a new upcoming doujin, rather than a completed one.

Negom has been pretty quiet on Twitter for a while, so I'm guessing it's some kind of art hiatus. I know there's still two more Mob x Saaya doujins (a SFW & NSFW one) untranslated.

Talk about a glow-up. I look at the author's name, cause Kuzushiro looked familiar. Lo and behold, it's the same author who made Inugami and Nekoyama. The artstyle, in my opinion, has been improved significantly.
