Loving the punchline. Jumped right in the trap.

Look, I'm not here to argue about semantics, but to share my opinions about a story we enjoy. I wouldn't post in this thread if I disliked FF. My critics were pretty minor points of details and it doesn't make FF a less enjoyable story and the characters any less lovable.

Romance between these two just barely started. Let's see where it goes from here.

Stretch looks pretty mainstream to me. More josei than anything else he wrote. It's already quite long and it doesn't seem the story is about to end soon (though the chapter before the April 1st one sounded a bit ominous).

PLEASE don't tell me this is going to turn into another Fluttering Feelings type thread.

Since you update in batch here, it's bound to happen that people will discuss unreleased strips.

At least Fumi-chan didn't threaten to commit suicide.

There's just a bit of violence at the start, but it's settled in a cartoonish way, with no actual consequences. Hitting someone with a baseball bat on the head hard enough to make them pass-out is no small feat (especially for a tiny girl like No-rae) and in real life, she probably would have had to appear in court. The guy is guilty, but assaulting someone is serious business.

I don't quite see how the event itself was "cartoonish" in any way. Yes, it was treated more comically after it had happened, but I certainly wasn't laughing when No-rae actually hit the dude.

There's a fine line between plain assault and self defense (or in this case defense of others). I doubt No-rae would have been legally punished for her actions, considering Seol-a could have died from strangulation.

By cartoonish, I meant that there's no blood and no consequences. Not that it was funny.

And I didn't say she would/should have been punished. It was to defend someone in danger, so there's no question for us, because we "witnessed" everything. Just that in real life, police and justice wouldn't have let it slide just like that and would have investigated to know what really happened.

My point is not that FF is "not realistic enough". On the contrary, since it's not that much realistic, I tried to calm the worries of some people about a date-rape that could happen.

I, for one, would be disappointed if something like that happened to a FF character, because it's not (I think) what FF is about. It's a romantic story, with some drama, about two women learning to love/heal each other. Or something like that.

It's a wild guess at best. Truna is just saying that she read the latest update before it was translated (I think)

Ayame looks like a pressure cooker about to explode that can only release some steam in her "special" time before sleep. It starts to build up again as soon as she's with the other 3.

Kagari is steadily building pressure also, and they reinforce each other without realizing it.

Sango seems mostly oblivious, while Shinobu is on alert because she feels something is happening.

There's no lovey dovey, "you are my fated person", feelings involved here. Just raw teenage horniness, like just about any teenager. And that makes it realistic.

It's really fun to read. I hope the following chapter gets published soon.

Latest update on yaoi-blcd cracked me up. Really Qiu Tong ? You know what you are doing, don't you?

I guess it's the hallmark of good characters building that people are worrying so much about what going to happen. :)

However, I didn't get the feel FF woud take the path of heavy drama, like a rape and its consequences on mental health, rebuilding self, future relationships, etc... If there's a rape in a realistic story, I'd expect the author to take it seriously. But I doubt Ssamba wants to write that kind of story.

All this rambling to say that this story doesn't aim for dark realism.

I could be mistaken, but I think something or other (preferably No-rae to the rescue) will stop Kyung-woo from doing anything that could be too damaging to Seol-a.

I think Mei is going to kiss Sara, but it will be nothing like Yuzu's kiss in chapter 8. Mei can kiss just about anyone without any feeling and meaning behind. She connected only with Yuzu. Doesn't mean Yuzu's not gonna be hurt though

I don't understand the hate Citrus is getting sometimes. The romance looks stalled sometimes, but I think the author knows where he wants to go.

This needs a denial tag.

Denial she's a lesbian, denial she's an otaku, denial that everyone knows she's all of these things.

One if them is trying to "grow" out of a Class S relationship, because you know, in Japanese society, it's the right thing to do. The other doesn't see a need to grow up out of it and wants things to stay that way forever. That's obvious why she would make a childish threat of killing herself.

Anyway, it's a story, it doesn't have to be tied to reality (suicide threats are serious business). The author used it as shock value, because it's just a chapter long and they needed a way to make Miharu realize that growing up out of this Class S relationship doesn't necessarily mean destroying it, but can also mean "adding more and more to it" and take it to the next level, yes ?

The mere fact that this series gets 2200+ comments, even though there's no yuri (yet) in it, shows how good it is. Everything is near perfect.

I hope Shou definitely stops to write Hentai/Lolicon and writes more of this.

His storytelling and character building skills are too good. We got a nice preview in Prism, but here, it really shines.

It isn't a good kind of depressing here. I don't need to be reminded that some people fail completely at being human. I already know that. It's not entertaining for me in the slightest.

My personal taste goes toward happy fluffy cute yuri, though I don't mind drama and angst if it's all solved in the end.

This, here, makes me want to go Dalek on the human race.

I'm rooting for Kagari x Ayame. I always had a soft spot for the tomboyish yet girly type. She kinda reminds me of Ritsu from K-On. Doing sit-ups to calm her "agitation"... that's too cute. Did she get a whiff of Ayame Juice ? xD

I read all scanlated volumes here in 2 days.

Even though there's not even a hint of yuri, this manga is really intense.

From zero to hero, Imamura is trying too hard, but that's what makes this interesting. And I think he's going to go from not ever talking to a girl in 3 years, to having a harem he didn't even want. And it's going to be hilarious.

I'm reading "Again!!" and while the theme is the same (getting a chance to replay your school years), it's 1000% better than this depressing piece of crap.

I liked this one, because the pair is really cute, but the way the age gap is handled puts me off. A 20 something woman falling for a 11/12 yo girl, getting all aroused and kissy-kissy, is still kinda creepy when you think about it, despite the cuteness of the characters,

I'm not much of a fan of the age gap thing, tbh.

I wouldn't have minded if Otome had been a bit older. But then, the promise to not touch each others beyond kisses before being older wouldn't have made much sense.

And I'm positive Otome didn't have sex with Hina (still, Hina is an horrible person).

The way I read this, this guy hasn't any redeeming quality. He's a total piece of trash. He blames other people and circumstances for his own failure at being human. I almost pitied him, but after thinking about it, he doesn't even deserve pity, he's defiling everything he touches.

Obviously we get a glimpse of two different timelines. The one where he ends up a greasy otaku dying naked, and the one where he ends up a ladykiller, probably as a result of really evil deeds. And stabbed to death,

And the story seems to play a third timeline, where Homura tries to put a stop to it.

I agree with her: this guy should be erased from all timelines. Just disappear from this world already.

I don't know if I can bear to continue to read this, because I'm like Homura when watching his face. Burning with hate.

It's not that it's a bad story, it's just that I don't like one bit the emotions it stirs up. That character makes my soul shrivel.

Line from every (vanilla) hentai ever.

Nope. That would be "Please be gentle..."

"Please take care of me" is a line from just about any romance manga when accepting a marriage proposal.
