How can a "honey water" leave dregs behind though

How tf are people saying this is future elsa, where did it say that? I must have missed something big.

Nobody said that anywhere. It's just a wild guess some peepz in the forum have made.

Imho they're wrong. The hooded lady is the readership's avatar. ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)

I don't think it's as wild of a guess after this chapter, since it introduced the observation that the hooded lady "feels familiar" and after meeting her in person Yvonne "doesn't feel angry anymore". Which might imply she somehow unconsiously recognized her by... demeanor or something, I dunno, but I feel like this gives the theory a bit more credence than just the fact that she has the same hair.

I think that a common pattern in this story is that lots of worries and insecurities that Hinako has are either only in her own head, or at the very least she exaggerates them somewhat.

Very first chapter, she was dejected that she caused Asahi problems at work, by the end of it it was clear that this wasn't really that big of a deal.

Later, her other friends at work were presented as putting pressure on her with that whole dating thing, and she was even anxious about smaller things like not eating lunch with them, after talking things through a bit, it again turns out none of this was too big of a problem.

The way the main pairs' relationship progresses, pretty late into the story Hinako keeps thinking that she is somehow causing problems to Asahi where at this point it's clearly not the case.

And finally, I feel like that mom thing is very much along the same lines, although I do agree that mom isn't entirely without a blame here - but again, all it took was some candid discussion.

I'm guessing that RELAX <-> ILUVU misunderstanding is something completely untranslatable so I feel like I shouldn't complain too much... but it felt really clunky nonetheless.

Anyway, the chapter was nice as usual, although I can't help but feel a bit disappointed since it's not nearly stupid enough for me after the masterpiece that was the cat chapter :P At least the licking is still a theme I guess.

So what is really love in the end?

They outright said it's a doughnut, I don't think any more explanations are needed

I think "act natural" -> "alright how about we sleep together" went a bit under the radar with the potion and whatnot but I find it pretty funny

... oh okay maybe that was obvious, but that "force of habit" explains the title fully :P

I think we now know who the second-craziest character in the manga is, right behind Momose

I read this the first time just now... and I have very mixed feelings about what I just read.
It does seem obviously cut short, but even then I got the impression that the author didn't sell me the relationship between Midori and Tsumugi very well, to the point I got the impression just like their classmates - they actually weren't all that close, just for some reason they both though they were, but never said that to each other properly. Maybe that's the point that we should instead focus on her relationship with Haru, but I actually didn't find that one all too interesting :P

"I've gone and done it now"? Is she self aware about being in a yuri manga or what

... I guess it was about time to flesh out the side characters a bit more, considering they introduced 3 of them right off the bat and barely featured the two of them until now. The obviously fake cliffhanger is a bit silly though :P

Halfway through reading this I was thinking she's planning to fake her own death, but picking a dress to look nice in the coffin kind of puts a dent into that theory :P

It's not really about death, is it? Like in a literal sense I mean. Because the first page shows both of them at a funeral (I assume) and alive.

I'm pretty sure this is just a cover and it doesn't need to portray anything that actually happens in the story, so I wouldn't read too much into it. I don't think we can really interpret what they're talking about as anything other than literal death.

She said the thing! it's the end of the manga
I know it's not but it would kinda fit, the punchline of the whole series is right there :P I wouldn't even be that mad, only slightly mad

Can't say I expected this to try to answer the classic "can robots feel" trope (except with a magic robot), but it's pretty cool

gatekeeping knowledge, now that's sad

This is pretty weird, it feels like it threw out all subtlety out the window, while not making it too satisfying for the readers either :P I'm sure pretending will go well as it always does

got a feeling she will do a god damn confession after the competition, she better be.

... well it's literally what their bet is about now, isn't it? If they lose, she will have to.

I'll honestly refrain from commenting about whether this was obvious or not because this manga seems really bad about making me remember the details... maybe it was obvious somewhere near the beginning but there were enough distractions in the meantime that I probably forgot.

finally, super friends arc

I wouldn't say Reincarnated Princess is better executed, it is just more focused (so far) on its core themes

Yeah sorry if I wasn't clear, that's more or less what I meant - IFTV seems to me as a better executed adaption of the novel to a manga (I'm assuming anyway, never having read the novel, but Princess just sometimes clumsily drops these walls of text which I really hate, and if someone told me that IFTV was just a manga from the start and I would never hear about the novel, I would probably believe it), but Princess, even though worse executed, probably builds on a better story which kinda makes me like it more than IFTV at the moment.

... I like both anyway.

I like how at this point someone fucking dying or a cute date is basically equally likely. I'm not sure if I would call the writing great, but it sure isn't boring and I think sometimes that's enough.

While this is to some extent unavoidable when it comes to adaptations like this, I find it mildly annyoing that so many people seem to come in and use the argument "listen, this may seem stupid but it is totally explained in the novel as being such and such" etc. I'm of the opinion that the adaption should be judged as a thing on its own - if some aspect of the story wasn't presented to me in the manga, then as far as I'm concerned it doesn't exist (especially since I'm not interested in reading the novel).

As far as Manaria herself, I don't hate her, but this whole arc just makes my eyes roll, similarly to other people in here. I still enjoy the manga overall, but I somehow can't help but compare it to the Reincarnated Princess, which it feels to me like some sort of competitor - I think Villainess seems better executed (they resisted the temptation of insanely long artificial expository explanations far better, although they're still here to some extent), but it's starting to seem to me that the underlying story is worse since it just keeps getting stupider, while the Princess keeps getting more interesting. If I ever got the urge to actually read the novel based on what I saw from the manga, I'd rather choose this one :P

I find it much more interesting that no one seems to acknowledge the horns as unusual (never mind that one is broken), does no one apart from Yvonne see it? The kid only remarked on the hair color, not the horn... Or is it just normal to encounter demons in this world sometimes and people usually aren't too bothered about that (but then why would Dahlia make such a big deal about hiding her identity?)

Well I was genuinely caught off guard on the last page, didn't see that coming. I guess that's interesting.

... people disliking Rio so much also surprised me a little, Fuuka in Doughnuts was way more annoying to me and I felt like I was the only one that hated the character :P I guess different things strike a different nerve

I think I tend to leave more negative comments than positive ones, because another comment saying "kyaa how cute" usually doesn't bring much to the discussion when there's already like 10 people saying that (even though I probably feel the same).
I do try not to be mean while doing that though, hopefully I'm more or less succesful at it :P
