I can't say I've ever bought into astrology since I'm a pretty firm believer in your personality traits being based off your life experiences such as things you have done, places you have been and, people you have met, etc. I find because of that you really can't lump large amounts of people into such specific groups like that.

during my academic years.. I cared much about psychology and related behavioral sciences.. I remember this:
Personality= Nature + Nurture
(of course there are other elements to it such as brain injuries, hormones
& chemicals balances .. etc)

I am a big believer that we are born with a predetermined personality that gets refined or even tailored with age and experience.. BUT the root itself is there since birth.
The Jim twins are a good example of it

but also, if you have witnessed children, even less than 1 year old.. you would see how they differ dramatically in their personalities.. I was 10 years old when my mother gave birth to my twins brothers .. they both had their individualism from a very young age. And I was 24 when my sister gave birth to my nephew who had a very distinctive personality, even though he was an only child and with not much exposure to other children, he has his own ways of interacting with his surroundings. This personality is different from my other nephews and the little niece who were born and lived in another country.. each had their own. I told my mother once, that everyone is born with their personality.. just look at them and you would notice it immediately.. what experience does, is reshaping and refining the shape of it but not totally exchange it unless something traumatic happens.

since I am at it.. I believe that we also inherit some personality traits and preferences from our parents.. my father used to smoke Carlton (which I always hated by the way) .. then two years passed by without us seeing each other again.. when I came back, I found him smoking Davidoff and Dunhill which are my absolute favorite .. hahaha, I guess like father like daughter!
with age, it freaks me out how the things I criticised about him and about my mother are becoming part of me now. (hehe, my father and I we both like women so much XD)

Really? You honestly did not see the obvious buildup? Let me give you a hint: winter is coming; winter is here.

I get that the weather sets the tone for the story but imo there has been no buildup whatsoever. if winter is signifying that Sumin and Sungji will break up then it's just a rehash of events in the story that has been happening since the first arc. the usual plot of wdtfs is how Sumin and Sungji will have a falling out and just immediately make up in the shortest time possible.

Seju is god damn selfish and toxic! All she cares about is her past love and her guilt and shit. She does not care about how her existence affect sumin's life. I mean her family is psycho and she knows it, yet she still risk sumin's safety by clinging onto her. If she loves sumin so much, she should just move far far away from her and set her free! And get a god damn life or die already.

interesting, I would love to answer this with a chronological flow of events:

1. Seju immediatly assumed that her family punished them because they found about the nature of their homosexual relationship.. so the scarring happened ch27 (hospital scene)
2. Sumin is the one going back again and again to Seju, because there must have been times when she missed it, those short moment or long periods of time when they meant everything to each other, ch27 (you came)
3. Sumin wouldn't function in other relationships.. she is the one stuck in the past more than Seju.. ch50, and later she decided just to make the lame excuse: because she couldn't match you in bed. (sex excuse) *** as for Seju:
4. Seju hired Sungji and chose a person with idealistic view specifically to be under Sumin's management.. made sure that they would meet and pushed them together
5. ch14, Seju used Sungji's idealism so be with Sumin: she is weaker than she seems.. and she needs someone like you !
6. Seju did want Sumin to move on from ch4 bed talk!! *** then what about ch27 flashback of ch55??

Seju witnessed +31 breakups.. she KNOWS that Sungji will get hurt in the process and warned her.. there is some truth in Seju's words.. and finally Sungji gave in for sex, not only gave in, but urged for it..

why did Seju did what she did in ch54 then

very good question, Seju had no reason to hold on to Sumin badly and wanted to let her go for her safety with a person whom she chose carefully (since you know how bad Sumin judges characters, Ms. choi and the likes).. back then Seju didn't know that Sumin kept returning because she LOVES HER.. this information changed the whole thing...

Now, fighting and holding on to Sumin is a responsibility.. because there is something between them in which they are both too coward to end it properly ch64 bed talk.

Sumin's confession is an important moment that changed the whole game.. from Seju who is pushing the two together to the one fighting for Sumin.. and thus the final scene in ch56 "NOW I KNOW" and in ch57:"I am going to get you back"

I hope I made sensible connection what was happening from the beginning to the end.

I don't read the monthly or daily things.. but the general description of the sign.. I happen to find myself a typical scorpio regardless of it's pseudo-science or not. what I meant by my comment is the lame justification of why Sumin and Sungji should be together, this specific justification: because it is simply a new fresh start.

clearly Sumin herself has issues.. with her mentality, she will ruin her "brand shiny new" relationship for the same issues.
and I hate this mentality of jumping over a new thing just because it is new overlooking the fact that you can run from troubles only temporarily and relationships are not smart phones..!! Maybe changing a phone will fix a problem, but not so if the user himself is the one having issues and can't use the phone properly.

if there is a hope to fix and work on problems, then one won't regret it.. but running from it because it needs some work.. well, that's too much of a consumption mentality. Same is true for those justifying that Sumin and Seju shouldn't be together because it requires some work (that is clearly too much for their appetite) !

and for the list you made, Seju's reaction to the scarf when Sumin found it in the back seat is all to show you that Seju won't avenge Sumin for the past.

there was this moment, when Sumin sulked at Seju for getting her cloths wet under the Snow.. but then Sumin put her umbrella aside and sat right next to Seju.. getting her cloths wet as well.. later on, she held the umbrella over Seju's head and said her words: No, I can't Seju-ah. I wish this will be the last snow I am going to be seeing with you.
Last thing from the scene was the umbrella that Sumin held over Seju's head and Sumin's foot print on the snow.. (don't wait for me in the snow anymore).

the clearest time we saw the umbrella reference and its parallelism to ch2 was actually in ch52

Your fear from last chapter that Sumin would just go with Seju out of guilt or pity has been ruled out too. :)

That's why I admire TG writing and trust them.. they ruled Sumin guilt toward Seju away at this point.. inferiority complex was dealt with and so Sumin's insecurity a bit (by the whole TL leaving the stressful job that Sumin used to handle so skillfully). they worked as well on the trust issues a bit.

I love the fact that now Seju is leaving Sumin's house.. for them to interact together, it was a good part and now we will see another.. a part when Sumin and Seju don't see each other for real.. and Sumin has no clue where Seju would be for the first time ever. This taking Seju for granted will change.
All the excuses that they had before are gone now, the family contempt, the assassin threat and so is the workplace and the house they once shared.

Who would hate Sungji? Lol her character is not made to be hated(but that doesn't mean I can't dislike her sometimes xD) if ever they end up together, I just can't really see how it will work/last with both of them having so many insecurities that was not even pointed out or discussed or even solved in the series. How is that even "healing".

I don't hate Sungji either.. I just find that her relationship with Sumin brought her worst.. a brief glance at how she felt even from the beginning when her friends asked her if Sumin treated her well in ch39, through all the things she went through in only just 4 month!! can you imagine ?
and Sungji said it to Sumin ch56: you were always ready to leave me, but it was not like that for me.

would this relationship last? very very debatable.
my preference (anticipation) of the ending has no connection to how I feel about Sungji as a character.. but to how things are going!
