This topic is pointless, I agree. To each their own, I just can't bring myself to like both Hotaru and Naoko sensei 's works.

Glad to see more yuri animated, too bad it's two yuri I hate. But if more yuri gets a anime version, I still can dream to see Hanjuku Joshi and octave one day.

To each their own I guess, to me Hotaru is absolutely hatable, and I really wish to see her fall in despair, to see her downhill. She may love Yuma but the way she expresses it is so wrong, I can't believe this animosity towards Takeda. I believe it's harder for a woman to imagine what Takeda is feeling but I believe Ulquiorra will agree with me. Takeda is the best character so far in the serie, and it's a pity to see him thrown away like a piece of crap just because of this manipulative character Hotaru is.

She deserves to work at this night-club and I sure don't pity her. She is right to hate herself and her presence won't indeed bring anything good to Yuma, since, even if she does love Yuma, all she did was to toy with her and her heart, she totally fucked her up ...

As much as I hate het, and everyone who knows me a little is aware of how I hate it, I'd like to see a het end here, with Takeda and Yuma; Fujiwara and Hotaru can stab themselves to death. Everyone can be desesperate at some stage of their life, but I sure don't caution her behavior, which is not justfiable and legitimate. Sorry, one does not totally mess with someone because they love this someone and can't express it otherwise.

No one said Takeda's love is more valuable, but he does love her too, and he didn't behave like a fucking jerk for all that. But because he's a male character in a yuri he obviously will get all the hatred of frustrated girls who ship for the yuri, even though he is the most likable character. That makes me sick, lmao.
If Hotaru was a man, and if he did just, like 10% of what the actual Hotaru did, people would have blown their top ...

Anyway it's a dumb Kodama Naoko's work so it's just a soap opera that is likely to have a yuri end so in the end everyone will be happy, although I strongly despise both Hotaru and Fujiwara.

On a side note, I like how Fujiwara is the name of the usual jerk, here in Netsuzou Trap, and in the recent (and excellent, masterpiece, perfect) the handmaiden (ah ga ssi). Does Fujiwara means something that could explain it ^^ ?

If you happen to see the comment on Netsuzou trap, you're likely to see me hate on it. I absolutely hate nearly everything by Trolldama Naoko, renai manga and a few oneshots aside. If you like bisexual insane amount of aangst, drama and hateful and fucked up characters fucking up the few non fucked up characters then it's for you.

The public libraries' BDs (most books tbh) are always in French, I don't know/I wonder what's actually mainly/only accessible in French.

Well, I've got original-language scans Spirou 1-50 and several volumes of Sillage, plus physical volumes of some Spirou stuff after that, some Pierre Alary stuff, Nävis, and a couple of random things I picked up here and there.

I do have a couple of translated volumes of Spirou and did a probably terrible fan translation of one volume of Nävis. But that's about it.

Didn't think I'd ever see people talking about french BD here. If you like french/belgium BD, I'd strongly recommend to read Gaston Lagaffe and Le Chat. I'd also recommend les Schtroumpfs (IIRC, in english it's called smurfs), Tintin, Black & Mortimer (the classics), Titeuf, Kid Paddle, the Soleil edition ones and countless others.

My mom having a collection of something like 5000 BD, with many first edition that are nowadays worth hundreds of euros, I'm kind of familiar with this.

Also, public holiday today in France, which means a 3days weekend. I'm happy.
Although it's also kind of an important day for german too, I doubt it's publich Holiday in Germany^^

More seriously, americans had to choose between plague and cholera. While trump mostly has stupid and inadaptable policies, he obviously won't do at least half of what he's been saying. I don't know how America will turn out to be, but at least he hasn't foreign policies as bad as [corrupted]Clinton, who's not better, if not worse, than Trump.

If Donald won, it's mostly because both Obama and Clinton failed at countering him, and because the american polling system is an indirect universal suffrage, which means that it's choosen representatives of each of the 50 states who voted, and not the whole country.

Both Hillary and Trumb are the living incarnations that populism is currently the most effective way to get votes. There are basically on the first side the white [men?], the WASP, and more globally all the frustrated who voted for Trump, and the women who voted for Clinton because she is one herself, and because Trump is kind of a mysogine, and the ethnic group Trump is targetting on the other side.
The only thing I'm relieved about is that Clinton had really .. warring? foreign policies and was really corrupted, while Trump is more careless on this point, and at this stage I'd rather choose someone unexperienced than someone corrupted. On the very least he isn't gonna make war to numerous middle-east countries, not going to destroy Al-Assad and leaving Syria vulnerable to another islamic coup d'etat, and he's not going to start a cold war again with Russia.

I read some posts about how LGBT community will be treated, but even if Trump and his staff are homophobic jerkass, they probably won't do anything in terms of law, he has other priorites and he has nothing to benefit from doing that. Sure, Clinton was better than him on this point, but Trump won't harm the LGBT community much, all he'll probably do being occasional homophobic lines during his speeches.

It still remains pretty bad overall for the world, but all we can do is wait to see how things will turn out.
