I am not so sure that I am liking this version as well as the first one, because the way it has been rewritten seems to change the personalities of Adachi and Shimamura somewhat.

Yeah I definitely agree there but didn't want to say anything (yet) since it's only one chapter.
Oh and I fixed the third-wheel alien girl's name in my first post (I was close)

While the first manga seems to stay faithful to the LN this one picks up quite fast and seems to do things in it's own way. This manga definitely feels like I'm reading a yuri manga and the two MC's interacting seem a lot more flirty even though they're doing the same things as the first manga. Idk if I like this more or not since it's too early for me to say but I welcome this faster paced, not as subtle version of the manga. Oh and I wonder if Yashiro (edited;fixed) is gonna be cut out completely or if just that scene, taking her out will definitely pick up their pace romantically.

The ending was so rushed and those last two chapters didn't even feel like the same author honestly. I'm glad they got together and are accepted by everyone but that ending just made me feel hollow. I liked the series because it was a slow romance, at first one-sided then reciprocated but not communicated and just a touch of drama. That ending was just something else entirely. and it is disappointing but not so much that I hate it.

This is, first and foremost, indeed Girl's-Love and everything else is secondary. It's plenty gay on Adachi's side and how gay it turns out depends on how gay Shimamura lets it get, at least that's how I see it.

This slow romance with one-sided feelings makes me think of the first time I read Girl Friends.
Adachi's feelings are fully developed so I hope we can begin to see something on Shimamura's side in volume 2.
