I think Mitora knows:

• That Shishiou is a masochist with a crush on her.
• Kohime is happier because Shishiou is around.
• Kohime is frustrated with Mitora, so she can't make her happy on her own.

So, as long as Shishiou is making Kohime happy, Mitora may use Shishiou's crush to manipulate her. If I flirt with Shishiou enough, I can use her to make my true love happy.

At least that's what I'm hoping for, because Mitora intentionally playing into Shishiou's masochism would be really funny.

their style changes from panel to panel, but they do seem too big. the boys hands are really large too.

There's narrative content that could support it, but personally I don't think it's likely to be the case. Certainly, at the very least, Kon thinks she's alive and a normal girl.

I'm personally reminded of Citrus, and how it continually introduced new characters to drive the plot forward...

citrus is the worst offender imo. introducing shallow, new characters out of nowhere, purely for the sake of conflict. tedious.

I don't think this will be quite as bad. hopefully we don't have a bunch of dumb flashbacks about this guy. i'm hoping he's gay as well.

Guys! Nobody has talked to Kon before, besides Furuka. This is just a theory, but I think she might be a ghost or the monster herself. She says everyone in her school ignores her. In her house, none of her family members never addressed her and when her brother says "sis", he could be talking to the other woman who was coocking. It was never stated that she was his mother.

When that bully girl talked about "lazzing about with that thing over there" she could be talking about the abalones instead of Kon herself. This is just a theory, but I re-read the whole thing and it seems the only one who can see kon is furuka.

also supporting this theory is kon getting barked at by a very upset dog on ch01 p3, and again on ch02 p2.

though we do see kon replying to non-furuka people a few times: "aight. thanks! i'm goin' to the hole!" and "did i really say that?"

seems at least like kon thinks people can hear/see her...

really curious to see if your prediction turns out to be correct.
