Finished Fear the Walking Dead last night. Gotta say I didn't like that show much but those last few episodes were pretty good. Not great still, but decent. Hope the third season will head in the same direction...

I've just happened to watch the French movie "Indigo Mood" with Audrey Tautou. A very interesting one, I would say and I did enjoyed the stop-motion effects. It was something different from what I'm used to watching^^

Never heard of that one before...

Sounds like it was a messy first day... Hope today was a little better.

It was the same for me when I entered High School and later on College. Everyone seemed to have gone there with a friend or two and I didn't know anyone. After a few days you usually find some people with similar interests to hang out with. I'm sure you will too.

So the ex doesn't turn out to be an ex at all, nor is she a bad person. Great choice there, but I have to question how "perfect" Kase is portrayed to be. Every bad thing about her turns out to be not true; she has never been in a relationship, she is athletic and good looking, She is consistently cheerful or at least agreeable, and she is utterly and selflessly devoted to Yamada. It's an enjoyable story, but it feels as though it was written out of wish fulfillment.

But Kase is extremely jealous and overprotective whenever a guy shows up near Yamada...
That could lead to trouble in real life. I doubt it will happen in this manga though...

Unfortunately, I haven't...but I will! Actually, I managed to finish the whole first season... so I will give a chance to the second as well.

I loved the first season and I just finished the second a few days ago.
That whole thing is a total mess! ^^
But I still enjoyed it very much. It gets you hooked. That show is so fast paced that you never get bored and most actors are really great, especially Viola Davis. I love her!

But I always have something else to watch... for example, now it's "Black Box"

After Game of Thrones I saw Jessica Jones and Transparent S2 then Stranger Things, The Night of, BrainDead and How to get away with Murder S2. I'll finish Fear the Walking Dead S2 tonight and now I'm looking for the next one already ^^

I've seen a few episodes of Black Box... seemed okay but didn't really catch my interest...

Oh... emotions are soo overrated anyway ;)

Seriously though, you mentioned that you can't sleep properly lately... I know from experience that that just makes it all much worse... It messes with your emotions as well unfortunately. And you tend to get oversensitive. So if you have anxiety problems it's likely that those will act up more when you can't sleep right for a longer period of time...
I'm not sure what's troubling you but if you can't get to the root of your problems the best way is to find something that helps you take your mind off things...
Video games are good but it works better when they don't make you feel frustrated all the time ^^
Last year, when I had a really rough time, it was TV shows and my dog that helped me...

Dark and cold autumn days are kicking in... Not very fond of that but apart from that I guess I can't complain... or at least I shouldn't ;)

Have started writing Love Live fanfic, which is good because it's getting me back into writing, but very time consuming.

Personally, I think you should enjoy love whenever you can.
But I'm just talking about real feelings here.
If it's just getting drunk and wasted and make out with whoever you can, then I'm not really a fan of that. I know some students like to do that kind of stuff... "Have fun while you can“ But that's just not my kind of thing...
However, if you really happen to fall in love with someone and that person loves you back it would be such a waste to just ignore those feelings...
Being in love doesn't mean that you have to neglect your studies altogether...
And for some people love doesn't come so easily... so you never know how many chances you might get...
Real feelings are too precious to just ignore...

Agree. I always try to incorporate as much thing as I know about person. It makes wishes much more memorable and enjoyable than most already made wishes you can find online or on cards in shops.

I used to hate poetry in school, probably because it was obligatory and boring stuff... though I've always loved metaphors and comparisons^^

I always liked poetry! We had to translate a poem in English class once! That was awesome!
I can't remember the name anymore. But it rhymed in English and the challenge was to also make it rhyme in German. Was fun.
The teacher kept my notes unfortunately but I think I did a pretty good job. ;)

But I suck at comparisons... I try... but I can never manage to come up with anything good...

I was always to shy to speak freely in front of class. She said that going into the woods and scream would help me get over it. I said I would feel like an idiot doing that. ^^

I never studied English literature but there are many different ways to write poems in German. That was one of them. Even though I wouldn't call myself an expert on that (◦’ںˉ◦)
But it seems to be the same in English.

As for ours, they can be used for the stuffs like that too, but the major uses of them is to help you memorize sentences lot easier.

Ah, we have those school rhymes as well. To help kids remember some stuff.

Yeah, that's the only time when it really comes in handy – to write some funny birthday cards. Most people like it. And it's more personal than just buying one and handing it over...
