I put the series in the middle of ep.04 on hold because it was seriously messing with my RL... now I finally managed to catch up by marathoning till ep.12... and you know what...

yuri goggles FULL ON
to hell with the baits and vol.3 of the novel. Kumi*Rei is a thing. Even if they don't get it now, they will, eventually. They absolutely must! Now, give me the novel author's mailing address and phone number - I have something to say. LOL
yuri goggles off

And damn, Ishihara Tatsuya sensei sure knows how to deliver. I almost hate him for how good his works often are. And Euph is K-on done right. Shoushitsu and Nichijou are probably his best though.

I'm suddenly wondering whether there's a yuri manga/webtoon/comic with a strong second lead syndrome or not...

isn't it obvious that Seol-a needs to stay with Ji-hwan?

What are you talking about, the good guy is definitely Kyeong-Woo (was that his name ?)

Damn speaking foxy citrus! That sounds like a love triangle!

Another funny goddess reference (?) I noticed. The chapter was a time travel to Seol-a's past. And Seol-a was wearing a ribbon. I know I'm forcing it kinda, but still ^__^

Aha, I see now! Thanks for the clarification everyone!

On a side note, Seol-a used to dance ballet. I wonder if she can play an instrument. Piano would suit her long fingers. Not the long nails though hahaha.

Wait, what? The girl in the class and the girl Seol-a drinks coffee with is Yu-ji? How come she has another hair colour and looks so different? Does my memory deceive me so much? I had a totally different image of Yu-ji in my head.

And WOW! halmoni that sure was fast this time! Thank you so much!

No I don't think the girl in the present is Yu-Ji, she definitely don't looks like her

Yes, that's why I'm so confused. The girl in the present does look like the girl from this chapter's flashback, who is Yu-ji, but doesn't look like Yu-ji from flashbacks in older chapters. Seol-a, now you have too many girls around you lol

She don't looks like this chapter's Yu-Ji either, the first girl in the flashback isn't Yu-Ji

It would be kinda weird it the present girl was Yu-Ji. Generally people criticize Fluttering feeling because all the girls looks the same and there a character get this uch change x)

Haha, trafi, now you lost me. Let's say there are four girls in the last chapter: the bride seo-young or whatever her name is, the girl #1 from the flashback, the girl #2 from the flashback, the girl Seol-a drinks a cup of coffee or whatever at the end. Which one of them is Yu-ji - only the girl #2 from the flashback?

By the way, we weren't given any direct messages that Seol-a was straight either. She's never been emotionally attached to guys is what's been hinted so far. She did seem to have sex with her bfs, but how much did it deliver? I rather see hints that she hasn't ever experienced lust and greed over her partner's body. She just went for it because that's how it was supposed to work, not because she actually desired it. I'm quite curious if she experienced orgasms and how strong those were if she did. And I bet it's No-rae who'll make her really wet. I could expect that she might have experienced a feeling of excitement while seeing a girl, like when she saw No-rae with a lollipop. could be that a similar feeling she experienced in the past when she saw that classmate of hers and now she kinda recalls it, on the road to realising and accepting her sexuality.

thatanon:

Anybody got an idea whose wedding was that and who was that girl whom seol-a met?

Alextasha:

Seol-a's first crush :D

takachi:

either that, or the crush could actually be the other girl - the one who noticed Seol-a, stopped her and asked out for a drink

UPD:
and yes, I approve the type of girls Seol-a's into, lol

I'm gonna wait to see if she was really someone that Seol-a was romantically interested in.

But of course we're only speculating. Right now I can only tell what I felt from the chapter visually - Seol-a saw how in the past, in her school times, there was a girl similar to No-rae, and Seol-a somehow looked interested in her. May be she wanted to befriend that girl because she subconsciously liked her? May be not. Overall it just looked like Seol-a was deep in reflecting upon her past, remembering encounters with other girls and how she reacted to them. Self-reflection upon her sexuality. Probably another reason why there were so many mirrors and photos in the chapter. But all of this may obviously be a nonsense once we get the TL ^__^

But if she isn't, I hope she won't turn into another "Jang Yu-ji" for the fan community.

Oh indeed. It also annoys me every time people try to think of Yu-ji as of Seol-a's past love interest.

oh... looks like a retrospective chapter - everything starts to make sense for Seol-a since her early childhood, I guess
it's a pity it's entirely B&W, would've been nicer to have it only half desaturated... but oh well... more fun for the painters, hehe

Anybody got an idea whose wedding was that and who was that girl whom seol-a met?

the one she received the invitation from apparently, a couple of chapters ago

Seol-a's first crush :D

regardless, definitely not my cup of tea - pretty boring, art is quite annoying, and what really is crap are the side characters that make me feel sick. Enjoy your ride if you like it, of course, but I'm certainly out.

the fanart and all is great... but damn does it not help to wait for the next chapter... Sunday evening, please, happen on Saturday...

Personally, fan art and fan content is a big part of what makes the series so enjoyable to me.

Of course, I would've still enjoyed the series without it but... the fan content complements the series in such meaningful ways.

I dare even say it's what keeps me going while waiting for the next chapter.

anon, I've got absolutely nothing against fanart. Just saying that it makes me want a new chapter more and more xD To me fanart is like spices. It makes the 'food' more exciting but you won't eat it alone. Or may be it simply works like an appetizer on me. Discussions, in contrast, or predictions, somehow help to deal with waiting much better. I know it's probably just me being too responsive to visual content.

I feel like Ran saw the opportunity to push Keiko towards closure of the relationship and took it. One way of viewing it is that she knows Keiko needs it, and would push Keiko to do it regardless of the consequences for their relationship (e.g. Keiko and ex end up back together). The other possibility is that Ran is confident that Keiko and ex are never ever getting back together, but Keiko needs the closure to move on for good.

I wonder what it means to settle things with an ex for good? Break up properly or restore the relationship?

Break up properly obviously

Well, that's kinda my default reading of the chapter, but the bias towards it isn't huge at the moment. I couldn't read Keiko's mind from the pictures, so for now I'll leave some space for other possibilities. Considering the target audience of the manga though, those would practically be a suicide...

After re-reading it again, yeah, Ran was burning them on purpose. But the last panel still convince me that she's just oblivious,or maybe she is teasing the ex-boyfriend a little more...well who knows. If she is doing on pupose though, I agree with you, for what reasons? It can't be just Ran's pay back.

She's not oblivious, she's playing dumb on purpose to make the ex think that she doesn't know about the actual relationship between the two even though she lives together with Keiko.

She's cruel here - there's now way she would forget Keiko's name. The trigger for her revenge was what got a little lost in translation (it's fixed now btw) - Keiko said not to praise Ran too much because then she'll get carried away. And immediately Ran hits back with that dialogue which ends in 'I'm sorry, I got a little carried away'. The true reason for doing that though... that's a good question. Perhaps she decided to go all in - after all she didn't get her feelings properly returned yet.

lol. my message from the 19th of May - now I'm really curious how much of it will come true

Crushes work in mysterious ways. Just because the only thing he does now is whining doesn't mean he's given up on her at all. I don't think anyone sees how it can be good for Keiko to go back to him, but that's not necessarily the case for her herself. If she really had true feelings for him, and if he really tries his best, in her opinion, like, you know, melts her heart - it may happen and she may forgive him. At least they don't seem like they properly ended their relationship, as it felt more like Keiko ragequitting due-to the miscarriage.
That essentially doesn't mean it's a het ending either, of course, because they are likely to break up very soon again just as well, forever this time. Or Keiko may reject him from the get-go. Or the guy might not even get the courage to get close to her again. It all depends on how string will Shou decide to troll the audience. Because, come on, essentially the manga is about the two girls living and stretching together. So everything that breaks this flow for more than a chapter or two will break the manga itself.
In that sense, I agree with you that the guy isn't a real option for Keiko. It's just that I'm afraid she's blind to it yet. And I wouldn't be that confident about the ex approaching Keiko again. Even if he tries to go for Ran, once he learns that Ran and that Keiko are roommates, he might reconsider and try to approach Keiko.

Truth be told, I really don't know how Seol-a will continue to behave.

My gut feeling tells me that it's rather going to be a 'limited but provoking pressure' from Seol-a on No-rae. I believe, Seol-a will be too scared to confess. If No-rae's majorly concerned about her sexuality, Seol-a's majorly concerned about losing the one she fell for, or, in other words, she's afraid to be rejected by No-rae. So, I think that Seol-a's self-consciousness will take over her impulsive nature, and avoiding confession, she will nevertheless want to be close to her love interest day and night and will thus try to achieve that in various ways, like inviting No-rae to dinner, lunches, dates - literally living together.
In this scenario, I expect others to notice the two getting too close, bringing it to the girls attention. And either at some point one will break, or an event will take place in which they'll get face to face close, looking each other in the eyes and will then naturally kiss. Like they go to see a movie, sitting really close to each other in the cinema, and then, you know, when they discuss in a soft voice something that just happened in the movie, they will each turn their heads towards each other, bringing their faces really close, and...

On the other hand, I can't completely deny the possibility of Seol-a's impulsive nature taking the lead and she confesses, loud and clear. That would however be a more boring option in my books. At this point, I'd prefer the confession to take at least another 10-20 chapters.
