...Why would you read Citrus to get rid of the bad taste? Regardless of my personal opinion of Citrus, there isn't really anything happy and fluffy going on in that series right now...in fact, I would think it would just sour your mood even more...O_o

I don't really want to discuss too much whether Citrus is good or bad. In my opinion, it is like Sour Patch candies. Sour and then sweet, it makes you crave more. At least I know that there is no NTR there yet (hopefully never) and those sexual harassment scenes there made me happy more than these sex scenes in this story.

This story "Your Fault" (in my opinion) was just plain horrible like those cough syrup.

When it really comes down to it, isn't this basically the porn version of At the Bottom Of the Stairway To Adulthood? The entirety of the Love triangle and NTR is in the author playing with the reader's expectations, setting them up to think there is or should be a romantic relationship between the main character and her point of focus, when in fact there is neither.

In no way this is a porn version of "At the Bottom of the Stairway to Adulthood"! The relationships were different and it was a 'win win' situation in the other story. Everyone was happy at the end. This story left a bad feeling in me. I had to google what NTR even means. It fits this story perfectly.... The Cheating tags really doesn't work. Childhood friends weren't officially dating.

They hate it because it sucks. And with good reasons, the author doesn't care for his story anymore. And it's been like this for a long time. He wanted to finish Naruto a lot quicker than the incoming ending.
But... Jump editors too strong, they will never let an author just end his series, must milk it dry...

The one shot he did a while back is actually the first work he wanted to make as a series but Jump liked Naruto better.

About the Disney analogy... The thing is everyone knows how it's going to end ( couple getting together in Citrus' case and happy endings in Disney movies ).

What actually matters is the journey, the execution going from point A to B. And there's nothing really innovative going on here.

Personally I've only read this to marvel at the art. I really, really like the thick lines.

It all comes down to preference. I am perfectly fine with the ways things going and will keep on reading; a lot of people agreeing with me (according the the view counts). Who in their right minds would read something they hate unless they have a masochist tendency or just a big fat troll.

People read/watch because the story is enjoyable and exciting to them. Many things could still happen and you have no idea how Mei will act. Plus, a happy ending is never guarantee. The author might pull a "Game of Thrones" endings and kill everyone...
My point is that Citrus is fun to read and since it has so many fans, haters will automatically gather and lecture everyone how much this story sucks and then rages for the lack of yuri/shoujo-ai story.

I don't understand why there are so many haters in this manga. Though the more popular the manga is , there more haters it gets and they are always very vocal. Just like Naruto, lots like it and yet lots despise it.

I seriously love this manga. The plot is cliche but still exciting. It's like Disney movies; all end with happy endings but people still watch and enjoy it. Thank you for scanlating! Please never stop.

Plus Harumi must have some bad feelings about Matsuri. She was giving her suspicious look.

Don't care, don't want to read the arguments. Everyone has their own fav. For me, I absolutely love this story. The art is pretty good and the drama is moderate. It's not overly dramatic.

Whoa... That was a lot of texts. Thank you for the translation! It has been so long since I saw such a nice drawing of Shizuru/Natsuki. Though the way Natsuki was uncertain of her feelings for Shizuru bugged me a little (a lot).

Whoa... Initially, Ishida was a little shit. The recent chapter really showed that he had improved a lot! I like him.

I don't recall saying he should never be forgiven. I said that Shouko shouldn't immediately forgive him and him actually having to work to get her forgiveness would have been better and more realistic, but nowhere does "never" come up. Not to mention that that entire thing was in response to people wanting them to be in a relationship, with "history" together being a reason, apparently forgetting that that history involved him abusing her daily. And he's sincerely trying his absolute hardest... doing what? Learning sign language is the only effort he's put in to work towards fixing things with her; everything else was paying his mom back the money she had to spend on hearing aids.

He did work hard to get her forgiveness. Have you ever learned sign language? Do you know how hard it is. The above person also pointed out that he considered killing himself after apologizing. It is a stupid move but it shows how sincere he is. He tried reaching out for her and actually made the effort to do so.
Nishimiya has always been like that, a forgiving person. You can see from chapter 11. If you question about the forgiven personality, there are many people like that around the world. They forgive and forget. Both of them are slowly becoming friends. The relationship part hasn't started yet but as a fan, I can always dream and wish for that.

About the younger sister, I had no complain about her actions. It was understandable. If someone did those horrible things to my family, I would go all out to keep them away. It wouldn't matter if they had changed or not.

Am I the only one that wants ishida and nishimiya to get together?. I know he used to be a dick but he's getting better now. Not sure if that would happen because I don't see any romance between them, maybe it might change in future chapters, but who knows.

I also want Ishida and Nishimiya to get together. They have history together and have been through a lot. Though I like the pace of the relationship. It isn't too fast nor too slow. It is realistic :D
