So, all Kiara said was that their relationship was changing so that it didn't feel like a stereotypical yuri relationship anymore, and 'shippers are convinced she's "ending" TakaMori?
No one saw it as their relationship growing and progressing naturally, and Kiara and Calli becoming more comfortable with each other to the point where they DON'T need to actively vie for the other's attention?
For fuck's sake.
I'm glad Kiara brought it up; as much as I love TakaMori, I hate when both sides of a yuri 'ship get pigeonholed as much they did. How about a little variety in our HoloMyth yuri; let's see flirty Kiara or smooth Calli put the moves on Ina, Gura, or Ame for once?

^ Yeah, it makes me sad how people have pretty much forgotten Enterprise/Essex, Enterprise/Vestal, and Enterprise/Zuikaku when Belprise came on the scene.
Spoilered for long 'shippy rant.
I just want to see Enterprise top for once. Not be shy or embarrassed, just top. Enty is brave and heroic, even in affairs of love (just look at her wedding dress lines), and Belfast has trouble seeing herself as anything other than a servant, and wouldn't know what to do if someone legitimately reciprocated feelings for her that didn't involve lusting over her (again, explained through some of her oath lines). Their relationship should be like Prince of Wales/Prinz Eugen, but it's written like Albacore/Taihou.
It's also worth mentioning that in-game, Mamie seems to have a healthy respect for Jean:
Secretary (Idle) 3: "People that impressed me? Umm... when I was in Casablanca, I fought a battleship who held out a long time even with just a single turret... I'd like to fight her again in her finished state."
Bonus Voice Line 1 (have Mamie and Jean fight the boss together): "The way you are now... I like it. This is good."
Secretary (Idle) 1 (Party skin): "Where's Jean Bart gone? I wanted to show her how I look."

Ooh, I hope more of this artist gets posted here; they're a big Kaga/Zuikaku fan, and apparently, this admiral is a pervert who likes to watch them. She even once deliberately botched Zuikaku's remodeling so she'd end up with a penis.
The irony of Azur Lane is, there were a fair amount of yuri 'ships before the animé, especially with Enterprise (Enty/Essex, Enty/Vestal, Enty/Zuikaku, Enty/Saratoga, Enty/NorCa...) and they all pretty much vanished when Enty/Bel came on the scene. Between turning Enty into an antisocial, self-destructive, shut-in God Mode Sue, to overlooking lots of characters Enty knew well in favor of Belfast (who's ALREADY overexposed and underdeveloped as a character), the animé felt like someone made a wish on a monkey's paw for more Enty yuri.

Jean Bart got a swimsuit skin to celebrate the new French event, and Massachusetts got a dress skin for Azur Lane's 3rd Anniversary celebration. While not the best of friends or anything, Mamie seems to have a healthy respect for Jean Bart. I think all of these Mamie/Jean fanarts are by the same artist, though.
While I like this 'ship, I feel this artist writes them too much like a generic nice girl/grumpy girl hateship (which unfortunately a problem with yuri in general). While Jean is pretty on-point, Mamie is more of the soft-spoken, laid-back motherly type. I kind of want to see a more patient, nuturing Mamie compared to the hot-headed, butch Jean.

It makes frustrated how Enterprise practically had her own harem in-game before the animé, and was 'shipped with Essex, Zuikaku, Vestal, Saratoga, and North Carolina, all characters she had a rapport with.
And then the animé comes along and deliberately turns Enty from a strong hero to an easily-dominated emo so she can be 'shipped with someone who she barely knows, but scored higher in Japanese popularity contests than any of the characters I just mentioned.
I love the characters here, and think they would make a great couple, and I want to LOVE this 'ship, but everyone keeps saying they're practically married when animé!Enty would rather slice her wrists open than deal with anyone. It feels like a lie built on a foundation of lies, when love-- especially yuri-- is supposed to be built on truth and honesty.
