Personally, I'm always hoping for more action/adventure yuri. "Noir" was got me into yuri as a genre, Cass/Steph from "Batgirl" was the first non-canon couple I ever shipped, and I've been mildly obsessed with Kara/Lena from "Supergirl" for the last few months. I'd like to see more stories with lesbian Battle Couples, more stories with lesbian action heroines rescuing damsels... a story that's just about romantic drama is never as interesting to me as one where the romance goes hand-in-hand with facing danger together.

It's always surprising to me that this is the only Supergirl art on this site, given how much lesbian fanfic there is for the TV version.

I sort of assumed that finishing her assignment for Babylon was the price for getting Benika and her dad to safety.

maybe it's just me but rereading things from the start, i have a lot of questions still
like the lady offering rose the job to kill archbishop(and his cronies which would also mean kill shirafune) doesnt know >who ROSE actually is?? because during the meetup between Father and Rose, lady doesnt know who Rose is even >though theyre the one offering the job to rose herself?? am i missing something

To the person with the bird avatar...Basically they are not very good at keeping track of who they hired....

They know about Rose...but not exactly her looks, appearance or IRL name and real face basically. The test her out by trying to follow her around but Rose gave them slip and passed their little test [she was also wearing a fake beard + disguise]

Rose usually toss away her burner phones too so it like they casual chat or talk...their work routine is basically standard code talk and processes and etc. Cold talking by telling rose her mission and receiving mission details, not allowed to talk casuallly

Basically they have a way to call her and knows she is working for them....but nothing much else since to them, she is just a another refugee they hired as a hitmen/assassin....even though you probably should want to get to know your best assassin/hitmen you have so far that been working for you for a whole 1.5-3 years already....

Well, we also know from what we saw in the early chapters that Rose is putting quite a bit of effort into maintaining her anonymity. She wears different disguises in different circumstances (remember that she's wearing a wig almost every time we see her, her real hair is lighter in color), probably has multiple false identities, and we saw that she doesn't ever meet her employers in person, only communicate over the phone. So Babylon knows that they employ an assassin code-named RS2088, but don't have a real name or face to go with it. And Rose doesn't know anything about the organization that she works for. That way neither of them can reveal anything about the other if they're caught.

So they did figure it out regarding the mix up,the hitmen know she's one of them but not sure which, the church is very much still in the dark, and now they're going to softly beat around the deadly bush.

Also, that last gun looks like it was referenced but not as much as it should.

Quite odd.

From the barrel and overall shape, it seems to be a 40mm grenade launcher with some unusual accessories tacked on that make it look weird: an underbarrel flashlight and foregrip, most obviously. (EDIT: And then the back end looks a bit like a Kalashnikov.) (EDIT #2: Thought for a second that what I took for a huge muzzle might actually be an integral suppressor and it could be a subsonic rifle like a VSS Vintorez, but it's doesn't really look like anything I've found while googling. I'm gonna stop before I go down a rabbit hole.)

Oh no you don't!

You get back in that hole!

And that AR-ish adjustable stock too...

And Picatinny Rails, as well. It's a bit of a Franken-weapon, really.

Does anyone here know where I can read this "Farm in the mountains" story?

The original light novels had author's notes at the end of each book that would cite the original ghost stories being referenced and where they could be found. According to the one at the end of Volume 3, the title of the story in the original Japanese is "Yama no Bokujou" and it's apparently an unusually famous example that was collected in a book titled "Gendai Hyaku Monogatari Shinmimibukuro Daishiya" and I really wish the ebook version would let be copy text so that I didn't have to type all that out.

The light novels are really worth reading, and not just to get more details on the ghost stories. The first seven have been translated to English at this time.

It reminds me of a quite popular supercorp fanfiction.

I think I know the one you mean, and I had the same thought.

Although Chapter 2 immediately took things in a different direction.
