I’m trying to find a story I’m sure I read here, it was a story following a girl through her whole life. I remember the whole plot just can’t find it with tags, it starts with her as a child and her teacher telling her two girls can’t get married, then she dates a guy for like one panel then meets a cute tomboy in college, gets drunk and sleeps with her ending up with them getting married and ends with her on her death bed, happy.

Oh damn, kiss was much sooner than expected. But besides that I’m amazed at how well this shows the chemistry between the two of them. Like it’s not just “girl, cute!” They genuinely get along really well and seem to have a similar sense of humour, I love it!

Maybe they only had enough filters for one trip? There is also an implication that Mama did not want Speranza to leave, so she simply never told her that this was an option.

Yeah- if they need to change every 12hr they must have that bag full of em - and probably not enough to go back- and I get the impression Mama could not leave- she seemed to be powered by the facility. She was probably intending to let her try once she was older.

Also doesn’t look like the facility had a proper airlock so opening at any point may have irreparably contaminated the inside.

I loved the little jab the writers seem to have given this chapter, the two authors were pretty succinct in their definition of a date but it was the “aficionado” who was just needlessly verbose and over the top in their definition. It’s always the enthusiasts who use too many words rather than actual writers.

Ironically kind of what I’m doing right now.

I’m in the same boat, I want to write but it’s hard to find places where you can get feedback. I’ve mostly been posting on AO3 but it’s hard for original stories to get attention there.

I’m also too embarrassed to send gay fantasy romance to friends for feedback.
