This is such a disingenuous argument. People play fifa because they like football, and people play call of duty because they like Fps's, but people who read Lolicon do so because they are attracted to the underage characters. Ergo, they are pedophiles. It's pretty self explanatory.
Do you believe people with a rape fantasy fetish are rapists?
Being aroused by imagining a scenario and being aroused by imagining prepubescent bodies aren't really comparable?
The fact you clearly forgot to take into account is that unless it's porn draw/written specifically to arouse you and you read it to masturbate, not all fiction containing lolis are meant to arouse you. And even if we're talking about story that involves character dating and/or being attracted to someone underage it's still a story. You know, something that people read in free time.
I'm honestly at lose of words here, because explaining to someone "people like to read stories to experience different things" is so basic and fundamental, I have no idea how say it in even more easy to understand terms. People reading about war don't like war, people reading about poverty don't like poverty. Stories (for the most part) always were a way to experience things you personally can't or don't want to experience in save environment. It's only always when it's taboo stuff like incest or loli etc. when people suddenly get all worked up over what can and can't be portrayed in fiction.
Sure, there always will be people who are actually pedo and read it for arousal or what not, but you won't get rid of those people by banning entire thing. Either way, I have no issue with discussion over what is and isn't acceptable to be portrayed and how given work handles it, but those type of conversations never do it. All they want to say is that all type of that content, regardless how it handles the subject and w/e or not it glorifies it or condemns it, it's not ok and those people just want to blindly censor everything. That's why people get upset, because it's not conversation opener. It's conversation closer.

I really don't see how you're coming to that conclusion. A scene played out by consenting adults is in no way comparable to being attracted to children. To even compare them is offensive.
How about actual rape then? You seem to miss the point that when it's two real adult doing it, they role-play, but when it's someone drawing it, it's 99% actual rape, presented as such (I assume we agree that "she ended up liking it" is not a valid justification of forcing yourself on anyone). We're talking about someone getting aroused from fictional depiction of actual rape. Those people get aroused from the idea and "fantasy", but they'd never actually want to be raped, that's why role-playing it is nothing like actual rape and more of just rougher sex. Only through fiction they can experience how it could actually feel.
I love how you get so morally indignant about the defense of material that essentially amounts to the glorification and normalization of child sexual abuse. If you honestly believe lolicon manga isn't written with a target audience of people who are attracted to the child characters in mind, then frankly I'm baffled. Have you ever maybe considered that having fantasies about abusing children is not, in fact, a thing that should be acceptable? Even if those fantasies never directly contributed to harming an actual child? (Which, if we're being honest, they absolutely will). It's genuinely offensive to people with actual kinks like CNC to compare that to pedophilia. I don't understand how you can possibly believe that the sexualisation of children and glorification of CSA inherent to all lolicon, even the non pornographic kind, will ever be acceptable. People like you make me embarrassed to say I like anime and manga. Please, seriously reconsider your life if this is the path it's led you on.
