I can already see it:

Shitty mom discovers her daughter's relationship with the "dirty commoner girl", sells her out to the cops.
Young cop gets a hold of her, bla bla yadda yadda "you're mine now" type of possessiveness he mistakes as love.
Forced marriage/pregnancy, she dies (maybe in childbirth), guy blames daughter for her death.

Here's to hoping that interest in SikuSiku's new series compells someone to pick this one up as well

Just going by time Murcielago is close, started in 2013 and is still going so it very well might overtake it. And Yuru Yuri did start 2 years before this in 2008 so, while not as explicit, that one's older.

I agree. She is not asking that for AI's sake, but for her own insecurities, which is wrong. I wouldn't mind if she was asking that because she thought it would be better for AI's mental state, but that's not how I read the situation.

Ai is struggling, but she is really trying.

I don't think it's wrong pre se, it's a boundary for Kon that makes her uncomfortable and it's not a totally unreasonable thing to ask for.
What I would disagree with is the framing she uses for it, the "it's just normal, what you "ought" to do" part. That's just unhelpful.

Okay, page 23 confirms to me that we got a big ol' case of the unreliable narrator going on here.

I very much doubt it's somehow a mistake the artist made or a way to get around drawing the corpse again. There has to be a reason why there's a police outline and evidence markers on the ground between them where Miya is lying in all other panels.

They did announce a new animation project for the series.
People thought they were referring to those 6 shorts put up on Youtube and got disappointed but the Director said in an interview back in April that isn't the case and there's another thing he's been working on ever since the original anime aired back in 2022.

So there is smth else coming that could end up being a sequel, we just don't have specifics yet.

Hi, I'm looking for a one shot I read some years ago picturing the life of a couple together from childhood to old age (with "age xx" being indicated as the story progresses) . It was extremely cute and fluffy (dreamlike yuri life) and I /think/ it was at least partially colored. It's a bit sad it's all I can think of to describe it considering I thought it was a masterpiece when I read it...
