The lyrics are almost illegible. There has been attempts to decipher it, but it's doesn't make much sense.

I renumbered the chapters according to the volume release.

When the magazine when from quarterly to bi-monthly, they stopped numbering the chapters explicitly so it led to some confusion.

The shorter chapters were actually half-chapters, so from 15, we actually got longer chapters. 20 pages instead of 15 per chapter.

Welp, the driving question of this manga is shaping up to be: which of the two leads the title refers to? It would be much easier if it were a plural (see Idiot couple)...

To be honest, in Japanese, the title "Baka Onna" is ambiguous and may apply to both. Could be "Stupid Woman" or "Stupid Women". If there wasn't already an English title, I probably would have used "Stupid Women".

But, the official English title, on the Japanese cover itself, is "Stupid Woman" (singular) as you can see.

It could be a case of the Japanese editor not really caring about the meaning of the English title, but I'm not going to change it.

Also, I'm not sure of the meaning of 26:00 (yet).

I've catched a mistake in the last panel though. What the Japanese means is more along that line "somehow, the gap is huge for both of them". Not "in between them".

The meaning is that they both have a huge gap in their personalities.

One is cool when singing and awkward otherwise

The other is aggressive towards the kouhais, but sweet towards Koga.

To note, this manga is actually quite fast to translate and typeset for me, because although there are 36 pages per chapter, there's not that much dialogue and next to no SFX. So it takes me 2/3 days top per chapter.

If I leave some delay between chapters, besides the fact I'm working on other stuff, it's so that people can discuss at their leisure, put up some theories, etc, much like the Japanese readers do, because they normally have to wait between chapter.

Posting spoilers defeats the whole idea and people wouldn't even try guessing where Aya is going, for example, because they know immediately. It takes half the fun out of an episodic manga.

That's the main reason why I dislike when people post spoilers. They ruin the enjoyment of the manga and the discussion.

When I'll have caught up with the raws, I'll post just after a full chapter is out.

Since Miyako left the group without warning and without graduating, it fuels speculations about her relationship with the other members/the agency and it reflects negatively on the current members, especially Ruri who replaced her as center.

So, the paparazzi are going to try to unearth any detail about Miyako's life and may expose Asako in the process, who doesn't need to have her photo plastered in tabloids. Also, speculations that Miyako may come back. It gives hope to her fans (she was very popular) and they may criticize the group if it doesn't happen.

The graduation allows to put things at rest. It's a way for idols to quit and move on to something else in good order. Fans may be sad, but it's customary to accept their decision.

Neither the current ELM or the agency need scandals attached to their name.

Also, Yodokawa already said this is the last volume.

Hinata is honestly holding it together crazy well. I'd be losing my shit if the girl I loved was half naked and pressed against me--also half naked. I get the situation is dire but also they're teenagers and Hinata has proven to be a horny beast lmao.

Chapter 16 is such a tonal change from the rest of the series and unfortunately for the worst. One thing I liked in this manga is unlike other edgy violent series it never tried to make obviously horrible ppl have some sort of little protagonist arc. Horrible. And, seriously, how many close ups of a mans erect penis does an action manga need? Every 5 pages according to this author.

Also WARNING, main heroine is raped off screen in 16.4, I already requested a tag change.

I don't think there was any actual rape. I don't know what he did (and I think it's on purpose), but rape isn't implied in any way. Just some "pervert" stuff.

If you imply he made her suck her dick, that's impossible. Kay would have bitten it off. I think he just showed it to her.

It's spoiling story that the vast majority of people here have not yet and cannot yet read. Don't be a devil waving that temptation in front of people, it's rude to other readers and particularly rude to the scanlators, and in exchange... you get to post your hot take a bit earlier? What, was it gonna kill you to not get it off your chest? It's really not a particularly hard thing to do, waiting to talk about something until other people can also talk about it with you, and the benefits far outweigh the cost of "coming back to the thread later" lol

tbh, I twisted the meaning a bit. The original thought of Kanna was something like "yooouth!", but I thought it lacked impact. So I made it cuter

Sorry for the late post, but Dynasty's upload system was broken until a little while ago.

I added an extra Haruhana Aya published on Twitter. It's a "years later" tidbit.

She also stated in comments that she won't write any sequel to that.

Now we also know that Aya's grandfather was somewhat in danger, probably from illness? Was his condition become a burden to Aya? Since after the time-shift Aya was relieved from something related to her grandpa by thinking "the picture is not all dark" in early chapter.

From Aya's reaction, I believe grandpa was an abusive asshole. Sadly, abusive assholes also grow old and get sick, and it falls onto their families(often the victims) to take care of them.

I don't think this story is heading towards the readers finding out Aya is someone that would be glad her nice, caring and loving grandpa died while she was gone. That would destroy all sympathy towards her lol So this is my guess.

I don't think he was abusive. From what I gather, he was probably really sick and had to be taken care of daily (like, spoon-fed and wiping his butt). Aya was living with him, since her mother abandoned her (probably to remarry), and got the burden of her grandpa from a young age.

Imagine being a 14yo and you have to take care of a sick old man daily, alone. If she was so carefree at school, it's probably because it was the only place she could be that way.

So, when she comes back and learn that he passed away, it's a huge relief for her. An enormous burden is lifted and she now can think about the future. A future with Koto, of course. Except it doesn't seem it'll be that easy.

I fixed that. The line was super confusing in JP, so I changed it to something more sensible.

The problem is that it's an adaptation of a WN, so it's verbose and there's a lot of internal dialogue and exposition. But the mangaka can only cram so much.

So we have to follow the line of thought of Wakaba and make sense of it.

I think that with the success of this work, the gay shenanigans had to take a backseat because the main sponsors of Sumiko have become the music industry (mainly Universal Music Japan) and not the manga industry or the yuri fandom.

She's been enrolled to promote Universal's catalog in Japan, not to promote the gay agenda.

For her sponsors, the gay is secondary. It's cute and it adds some appeal to the manga, but it's not the main theme anymore.

The first part focused on Aya and Mitsuki and the gender misunderstanding, but once it was out of the way, the second part focused mostly on music, because it's what pays the bills for Sumiko. So she toned down the romance (still keeping the rizz moments) and propped up the western music side.

So I wouldn't expect any actual onscreen kiss or definite gay thing, because it's become too big for that unfortunately, even if Sumiko has not shied away from the gay in the past.

I was so worried Miyako would break up with Ayako to "protect" her. I'm so glad they didn't go down that route.

Also what stage is their relationship right now. They've dated for months now, are sharing a bed, and taking baths together. But I don't think I've seen them kiss once yet. Is it implied to have happened off screen?

The word used is "Ikemen" which technically applies to men only (the woman equivalent would be Ikeonna). Since it echoes her line in the first page, I kept it as is.
