Personally, it feels like Asumi's end game here is getting closer to joining the ranks of sex workers herself, rather than ending up with any one person.

There’s been all this build up to Asumi and Mai meeting again, with Asumi expecting and daydreaming about Mai taking the lead with her, but on the other side Mai loses her cool with younger women who remind her of Asumi-chan. Along the way so far we’ve seen Asumi become more knowledgable and active in sex as she continually visits sex workers, so what are the odds that when they finally meet Mai totally loses her cool and Asumi ends up topping for the first time ever?

Or if we're headed down an anthology route of crazy side couples continually nudging the mains back on the wholesome road. It's hard to say yet what exactly this reflects onto the main pair, but it certainly colors the tone going forward. At the least it cements themes of hidden sides, secrets and lies, and ultimately acceptance. In a twisted way that rotting flower imagery from the start of chapter 11 represented "healthy" communication and openness between the two.

One thing that I find interesting, and am looking forward to seeing how it plays out, is that the protagonist explicitly rejected the goddess' divine strength. In a story like this, especially in the other series like sexiled or roll over and die that I mentioned above, the protagonists have a special power which gives them the capacity to triumph over their foes.

In this story, the focus on "brute strength" and on the societal belief of men being better than women is in the foreground, but by rejecting the goddess's power Lisa is explicitly rejecting that worldview as well. Rather than winning by way of the game set up by the male dominated society, she's forging her own path, with only her 150 years of training to improve her odds against her foes. It seems like she's explicitly intending on using skill and expertise to trump the brute strength that both the male dominated academy and the goddess herself claimed was necessary.

It's really interesting how Shibasaki-sensei wants to help Masono and really sees a reflection of herself in Masono, and yet she is denying her own "self".

There's two aspects here which Shibasaki currently sees as oppositional, but may in fact be two sides of the same coin. Shibasaki excplicitly says that "the moment what someone wants from me, and what I want to do for them align, it makes me feel good." This is contrasted with "doing something to hurt someone else, there's no way it would make anyone happy."

She's caught between her fear of hurting others that comes from her own past being bullied, and her desire to do the things that others want from her. She clearly finds it pleasurable, but she thinks that this aspect of herself is essentially the same as the people who bullied her in the past so she tries to ignore and nullify and repress it. She says she wants to be the person for Masono that she would have needed as a kid, but in many ways Masano is the person she needs now. They have a mutual need, and a desire to fulfill it, but Shibasaki rejects it
