I think part of what makes the story feel so fresh, besides just having really solid character writing, is that theyre so open about their relationship. Secret relationships are a staple for yuri, and rightfully so for many reasons, but its nice to see a couple who can just be loud and proud to tell everyone within earshot that theyre dating constantly.

the anime has been continually surprising me with how much love and effort is put into everything. The whole Miko epilogue and song blew me away.

So it's confirmed that Both Naruse and Sakuma require wigs which is interesting. Also SEN has done some level of voice training to pull out all these different voices, including the old woman one, on the fly. EDIT: Upon rereading chapter 1 we can also see that there's a wig for Naruse as well. All three identities utilize wigs, and we have no idea what kind of hair they have in reality.

I agree with @Cogito Houjou is extremely deranged. Does she even realize that from her perspective she's basically leading three different people on right now??? I love how unwittingly self centered she is, it really makes the relationship feel much more equal, since both characters are equally committed to "decieving" the other lol.

did anyone else notice that Sayaka had a newtype flash moment in this chapter? This chapter felt very campy in a fun way, it's also interesting how Asumi really has been forging real connections with all these women over the course of the series. It's fitting for Sayaka to put her on this track.

Personally, it feels like Asumi's end game here is getting closer to joining the ranks of sex workers herself, rather than ending up with any one person.

Oh my god I just had an idea. There’s been all this build up to Asumi and Mai meeting again, with Asumi expecting and daydreaming about Mai taking the lead with her, but on the other side Mai loses her cool with younger women who remind her of Asumi-chan. Along the way so far we’ve seen Asumi become more knowledgable and active in sex as she continually visits sex workers, so what are the odds that when they finally meet Mai totally loses her cool and Asumi ends up topping for the first time ever?

I'm very curious how the senpais will be involved from here, since they do seem genuinely supportive of Kasumi and Haruyo. Or if we're headed down an anthology route of crazy side couples continually nudging the mains back on the wholesome road. It's hard to say yet what exactly this reflects onto the main pair, but it certainly colors the tone going forward. At the least it cements themes of hidden sides, secrets and lies, and ultimately acceptance. In a twisted way that rotting flower imagery from the start of chapter 11 represented "healthy" communication and openness between the two.

Yeah this is something that stuck out to me too. Even though they kinda are toxic yurimaxxing rn they oddly enough do seem like decent people if only with regards to their treatment of Haruyo and Kasumi.
