Upon 1st reading I ended with a bad feeling, worried about the fate of the loli in the battle manga. Then I read people's comments--many of which mentioned that Misaki has changed the nature of the harem manga. That could go both ways. Now I imagine "Ruriko" being found & protected by the heroes. She might become everyone's little sister; cooking good meals, keeping their uniforms clean, & comforting those with PTSD. Then one day a fierce battle separates her from the rest. Ruri happens upon the badly wounded enemy commander, nurses him back to health, & gets him to consider a peace treaty.

I'm glad this tag is here. It's too bad Autobiographical stories aren't consolidated under the tag, though.

Here in the Willamette Valley we got an ice storm instead of snow last week. It weighed down tree limbs till they broke--damaging houses, cars & power lines. Oregon's governor declared a state of emergency. My electricity thankfully came back yesterday morning; there are still neighborhoods in the dark.

@Mayjaplaya: As far back as 2001 the manga Baby Birth by Sukehiro Tomita & Haruhiko Mikimoto had a mute character using text to communicate. Don't look for it; the smart mute girl was literally the only good thing in the story. It might have worked if she was the hero, but she was only the damsel in distress. Another case of ableism.

It seems pages 21-23 (ch. 4) don't count as Animated by Dynasty standards.

I'm guessing that because of the way old school yuri stories were. Just an all girls school with a lot of blushing & squealing, there's no erotic touching & rarely a kiss. Holding hands is the most intimate thing normally done--so for someone wanting to imagine a relationship being consummated, they take it as a metaphor for sex.
