I never really got the whole "like as a person" trope in yuri manga. I know that being pan is a thing, but specifically in yuri there's certain instances were it feels like they're sweeping lesbianism under the rug ( or just being gay in general ) by using a more "socially acceptable" answer.

Agreed, this story hits way too close to home. At some point I just started hating men altogether due to my grandpa and uncle being a pair of absolute buttholes. It's been a slow process, but I realize now that they are victims of their own environment as much as we are.

Huh... now that's an interesting point. Time travel is often a tricky thing to do well in a story, since it can create a bunch of plotholes instead of actually filling them. It'll be interesting to see how the Author handles it all.

Either way, seeing young Evie is more than enough payoff for me lol.

I Absolutely love this manga, especially it's message that being a lesbian is something to be proud of, I always end up re-reading the whole series every once in a while.

Sad to know this series is ending in just 2 chapters. I was hoping to see the queen and the dressmaker rekindling their love in some way, leaving it like that feels just too bittersweet, uuggh~

Well that was... something. It's very interesting to see how polarized the opinions on this manga are, which is completely understandable. Idk if I'll ever have the mental fortitude to read through it again, since reading it once brought back some awful memories, but I definitely enjoyed it for the most part. The ending is cruel, messy and heartbreaking, which honestly fits the rest of the story like a glove.
