The author didn't seem ready for a second run but rather had a vague idea of what he would like, which wouldn't have filled the pages he needed to so they've just thrown in what they can to extend the season.

Yuri doesn't delve into this territory much but this is par for the course when it come to shoujo series that continue past confession. I want to say it'll get better but if you came for fluff this really isn't the series for you.

Anyway, at least we got to hear Kase's reasoning but she's still a fucking dumbass who can't seem to comprehend there's consequences to her actions. Yamada needs to slap her upside the head but she won't; seems like she's trying to make sense of it and at least confronting Kase about Fukami to some degree.

I have noticed this so much when it comes to stories where the characters finally get together: no plan from the author.

Either they break up, or their relationship is now a series of misunderstandings to keep it interesting. Normal, angst free relationships aren't considered interesting to readers, so the writer is trying to spice it up.

But also, I think Kase-san had a good thing going. The first series had them together and the misunderstandings made sense. It's only with this series, that it feels like the author has no plan.

I try to read almost everything that comes up on Dynasty Scans cos sometimes I find gold.

Man, I love this author. Like, in their last series ("I love your cruddy") there was this awareness that the characters were shitty people. And it was entertaining and messed up, and they experienced consequences. There was no excusing their shittiness.

Even here, the author is doing the same sort of thing of calling out Nana. The one bubble saying, "she's not aware that she's an absolute nutjob." I wonder what mess she's going to get herself into.

This author is fulfilling part of my yearning for super fucked up stories in yuri.

Oooh, new chapter. Just saw it on Mangadex and hopped on over here. I love the art in this story, and all the diamonds around the borders. And their outfits. Swoon.

It just hits everything I like: vampires, humans being cattle, dystopian, cool art, cool costumes, predator and prety dynamics, blood, etc. I love when I read a manga that just.. hits everything I like. (Looking Up to Magical Girls is another one I'm reading that also hit everything I like in a manga.)

It's such a dystopian story, but it has a veneer of sweetness over it. It acts like everything is normal, but if you just think about everything, you know that this story is super messed up and I'm really enjoying the ride.

Also, I find the characters in this club very suspicious. Everyone is gunning for Ichigo.

While there were other ships in Utena, Revolutionary Girl Utena was focused on Anthy and Utena.

I know this series is ecchi and parody and stuff but aren't Sayo's boobs way too big for a 14 year old?

14 is well into puberty for a lot of teens, and development happens at different rates and different degrees. I read a story once (can't remember where) about a girl who's boobs were so big in middle school that she wanted reduction surgery because the other students and even the damn teachers were bullying her over it. It was really disheartening, but it gave me a new perspective. I was a late bloomer, very short and scrawny until my second year of high school. It made me an easy target, but I never thought that being on the extreme other end could do the same.

Yes. One of my friends in High School developed early.

All the boys thought she was a "slut" and picked on her. She'd get told off for wearing shirts that looked fine on anybody else for dress code.

People just suck in general, and if there's something they can bully someone over, they will do so.
