I think your 'flows better' feel might just be because you are used to the web comic version- or because you like faster paced works. You CANT say it is better or worse because pacing is not objective (unless inconsistent or inappropriate).

They can say it’s better or worse exactly BECAUSE it’s subjective.

Either way it would have been nice if the uploader or a mod would have said something when this was posted so that it wasn’t so confusing what was happening.

I hate these kinds of short oneshots cause they’re so good and make me want more.

The only thing that irks me is that thanks to the charm skill, we don’t know if the companion is actually in love with the female hero or if it’s just the charm skill working as intended. The skirt-wearing guild worker (with the groan-worthy name) doesn’t seem to be affected, though.

I’ve thought about love potions and charms a lot recently. I’ve come to the conclusion that, at least for me, love is love no matter how it started. If someone loves me and uses magic to make me fall in love them then I don’t care as long as they aren’t a dangerous/abusive person and I’m not already with someone.

God that last panel just made me die from it’s adorableness.

There isn’t really anything showing that they are in a romantic relationship. They could be close friends, or even twin sisters. Maybe context rather than yuri?
