- Sumin burst out in tears over Sungji's departure, wasn't even affected much when Seju gave her a farewell. To her, Sungji matters more.
- Sumin didn't even send Seju off and still had a happy Valentine's day with Sungji, whether or not Seju was there, Sumin's all fine.
These small details are enough for me to beg Sumin to not returning to Seju's life ever again, while Seju was suffering too hard of how to live a life without Sumin, yet Sumin on the other hand was doing very fine without her. It's nobody's fault. It's only a difference between "still in love" and "no longer in love". I've never once thought Sumin and Seju were meant to be either, they failed in many things which I don't have much energy left to mention about.
A+++
Omg, finally! A Seju supporter who uses their brains and sees the story as it actually is and legit cares for her well being!
Seriously, it's been shown so many times that SUMIN NO LONGER LOVES SEJU. As you've pointed out, she was so heartbroken when Sungji left her while she couldn't care less about Seju, making it SO CLEAR that she has moved on and actually found her TRUE LOVE in Sungji. There's no mental gymnastics needed to see that :)
Oh, and disliking Dowon when she's so caring about Seju (I kid you not, she's Sungji 2.0) literally shows how much y'all just want toxicity for the sake of drama lmao.
Anyways, TG knows what she's writing and she knows that SUMIN/SUNGJI and SEJU/DOWON are the perfect matches.
As a last point, I can't help but feel SungjixSumin can't realistically last unless Sumin never "wakes up" to what happened and has a moment of serious self-reflection. I suppose it depends on whether the story is about "Sumin and Seju have toxic relationship and heal separately" or "Sumin and Seju have crazy love story full of twists and turns". But whatever it is about, it's not about Sungji that's for sure :P So it was bait and switch.
Still grasping at straws. The delusion is real lmao. Sejumin ain't happening ever again. They are literally poison to each other. Sungji and Sumin are in happy, healthy and stable relationship. They are clearly never breaking up. Move on.
It's also hella disturbing that you find it unrealistic for Sumingji to last yet you find Sejumin getting back together realistic. One is healthy while the latter is naturally a chaotic mess of toxicity- circumstancial or not because personality and attitude matters. Seriously, I pray for your own relationships because.... yikes. The mental gymnastics from you never ends.

Anyway so this was a relationship that was going to be rocky regardless because of strong personality differences. The tragedy only made it rockier. Now it doesn’t mean the intense willingness to love wasn’t there, as Seju says in the end. So there’s only 2 paths possible to the story:
One is final story, Seju meets new person, lives happily ever after. More likely, less epic.
Seju heals in One, Sumin matures while she is away. If Team GJ really wanted to write a 4th story, Sungji and Sumin break up for natural reasons (it’s Sungji’s first relationship after all) and once Seju comes back from the villa, they end up getting back together now as mature adults. Less likely but at this point I prefer that route.
Jfc, and now you're still wishing for One to be about SejuMin getting back together when it's clearly about Seju MOVING ON to someone better for her and that's DOWON. You don't stop grasping at straws to fulfill your fantasy lmfao. You're acting as if Sungji and Sumin will fail in the future and Seju coming back would make a difference. Sungji and Sumin are the yin and yang-- they complete each other. Sumin getting back together with someone who doesn't complement her and vice versa is destined to fail no matter what. Your number 2 scenario is not just "less likely", it's an IMPOSSIBILITY.
Move on, yoonie. Sejumin ain't happening ever again.
last edited at Apr 9, 2019 11:02AM
I still don’t know who yoonie is but looks like some people here are really defensive about their OTP.
Yoonie, you on the other hand is bitter as hell that your prefered endgame didnt happen lol
Anyway it’s pretty obvious Seju is the most loved character, otherwise the continuation story would be “Sumin & Sungji Hot Adventures” and not a story focused on Seju literally called “One” where apparently Sumin and Sungji will be nowhere to be seen. Let’s face it, they are so healthy now that they will soon start having lesbian bed death due to lack of romantic adrenaline. shudders
Nah.
Sumin and Sungji's story is over. There's no more story to be told about their lovestory that's why we get Seju's story. It has nothing to do with popularity lol because we all know Sumingji are more popular. Lol, and here you go again with jealousy thaf Sumin and Sungji have a healthy sex life, yoonie. Dont worry, Seju will have one too and it's with the person who is rightfully for her.
BTW I was not joking about the poly ending to the story, it would have been amazing and ended 500 pages of discussion with a sexy threesome and everybody happy. As the saying goes, the only thing that threesomes solve is everything :D I actually hoped it would happen when Seju moved to Sumin’s place and Sungji and her started being friendly, too bad Seju’s father screwed it up again by dying. What a bummer.
You need help. SejuMin ain't happening lmao. Threesome ain't gonna solve anything especially when two people as toxic as Sejumin is involved together in some way. Let it go, mate.
last edited at Apr 8, 2019 11:43PM
She's getting mentioned the most because Paradise just literally finished getting published. That doesn't mean she's the most popular lol.
Besides, most readers of WDTFS who are Sungji/Sumin fans aren't gonna read a Seju-centered story you know, and that leaves for the Seju's vocal minority of fans to discuss about her.
Show me the evidence or you're literally lying.
I said if you’re willing to SPEND TIME doing some RESEARCH, you seemed to ignore the poll which is the most important factor I mentioned as well. There’s no need to explain more if you already had a conclusion of whom has most fans without making a bit efforts to dig deeper into each fandom to see if it’s truly this certain character that got more or less fans than the other. Furthermore, the fact that you’re so quick to jump into the assumption that I’m lying makes me quite speechless.
Where is the poll???? If you're gonna link me to an irrelevant poll, with only few voters, nevermind. Now if it's something official or like, there are numerous total votes. I'd like to see it. And it's hella obvious that Sumin and Sungji are the most popular lol, what are you even trying to imply here.
Find out it here yourself: https://ask.fm/gyeomji
I can't read korean, mate. Which is the post?
Again, I’m just saying, it really is not that important to know who’s more or most popular.
Yeah, it's Sumin and Sungji.

And this nonsense about the other poster’s identity is between you two, but of course two entirely different people can think (and therefore argue) much the same things about a story independently of one another.
Nah, I'm pretty good at identifying how a person construct their sentences and how they come off through just the way they type. Person has a habit of going on a sudden long rant about how they mistreated Seju and how it wasn't her fault too. matsuri_wins is literally yoonie lol.
Why hasn’t sunbaenim been banned yet? Where is drpepper when you need him
Another new account...hmmm, perhaps you're also... or you're the other "B" who's so obsessed reporting people lmao.
Lol Seju doesn't have the most fans. Sungji and Sumin do. Seju fans are literally just the vocal minority lol.
If you're willing to spend time doing some research on a considerable number of forums, including aminoapps, facebook group, twitter, instagram, dcinside, weibo from the final chapter of WDTFS main story to the latest chapter, which may approximately last 1,5 years. Seju sometimes couldn't win over Sungji when WDTFS had just ended but currently Seju was mentioned most in every discussion (just saying) I will take this point out because her background is controversial.
She's getting mentioned the most because Paradise just literally finished getting published. That doesn't mean she's the most popular lol.
The mainpoint is, Seju wins in every consecutive polls regardless of choosing favorite photo or favorite character. Even if she was not dragged into a survey, it's still her who brings back most attention from readers
Besides, most readers of WDTFS who are Sungji/Sumin fans aren't gonna read a Seju-centered story you know, and that leaves for the Seju's vocal minority of fans to discuss about her.
One time I went to Team Gaji's ask.fm and noticed that they did answer the character fandom (as of 2016) would be in this order: Sumin > Seju > Sungji.
Show me the evidence or you're literally lying.

Or you know maybe because Sungji isn't a broken, and a depressed character and she doesn't need to be shown suffering so much. Y'all are mistaking her positive character for being underdeveloped just because edgy readers want sad/depressed people.
This is exactly the thing I asked you to stop doing. I’m not an “edgy” reader and I absolutely positively do not want to see Sungji being a sad, depressed person.
What I would have liked to have seen in the story was more specific background on how exactly Sungji became the person she is (you know, like we got tons and tons of for Sumin and Seju), and more insight into what she was thinking throughout the story. I’ve said multiple times that she’s my favorite character and that I don’t want to her to be different—I just would have liked to have seen more of her and more of what makes her tick.
Sungji is a what you see is what you get type of person. She doesn't need a tragic/sad backstory behind her and that's what makes her character. She says what's on her mind and she means it.
And from what I know of the person from interactions on multiple forum threads, there’s no evidence that matsuri_wins is the same poster you mention from this forum.
matsuri_wins legit has the same arguments as yoonie, dd, ee although they're just trying to make a little subtle by making such fake concern about Sungji and the eventual blame on Sumin. I got to argue with yoonie (and their alt accounts which they admitted to be theirs) and ,matsuri sounds alot like them.
last edited at Apr 8, 2019 12:08PM
Youre pretentious concern for Sungji ain't gonna hide your real concern here: you just want Seju/Sumin back together. Period.
ps: yoonie, how mant times are you gonna pretend that youre a new reader btw lol?
The paranoia is strong on this one. Who is yoonie?
You :)
Basically, if the story is about Sungji helping Sumin to overcome past trauma so they could be together, Seju's role is vastly over-emphasized while Sungji's is equally underdeveloped.
Or you know maybe because Sungji isn't a broken, and a depressed character and she doesn't need to be shown suffering so much. Y'all are mistaking her positive character for being underdeveloped just because edgy readers want sad/depressed people.
If the story is about the deep, passionate bond between Seju and Sumin, the Sungji/Sumin resolution is an unearned, tacked-on happy ending for the sake of a happy ending.
Oh please, Sungji/Sumin was well earned after all the self-destruction Sumin and Seju been doing to themselves and to each other. She's the counter to all the depressing stuff around these characters.
last edited at Apr 8, 2019 11:59AM
As for me, I never said everything Seju did was right, she paid ENOUGH for them all, she fought, she lost then she left so it should be over. At least at the current time specifically after Paradise I can see Seju has most fans because people now understand her baggage more yet if it's about end-game couple, we go for Sungji and Sumin more since Sejumin is extremely toxic.
Lol Seju doesn't have the most fans. Sungji and Sumin do. Seju fans are literally just the vocal minority lol.
I don't know which accounts/users you're talking about but as a Seju's fan, I never wish Sejumin happens, rather I hope they could stop this toxic cycle and move on as soon as possible from the very first chapters. Sungji can help Sumin become a better person and gain back her social circles by introducing Sumin to her friends, family,... something Seju could never give. I also believe there would be someone out there that could rebuild Seju's lifestyle, let her live her own dreams, remove negative mindset for Seju too. Of course it could never be Sumin. Therefore this is a happy ending to me.
I like Seju too but like you, her relationship with Sumin was filled with toxicity. Gaji emphasized how wrong they were for one another. I'm glad you're a Seju fan who isn't blinded by the ship and actually cares for her sanity and well-being instead of being mad about SejuMin not happening.
last edited at Apr 8, 2019 11:33AM
Seju fan(s) are really out here insulting Sumin and Sungji as if Seju did nothing wrong lmao.
SejuMin ain't gonna happen ever again, pal. No matter how many accounts you have to push your agenda, it's never happening lmao. Move on :)

For the non-pretentious @sunbaenim:
I said in previous posts I wouldn't want Seju to be with Sumin and that Sungji literally saved Seju from this relationship. Only in the beginning I thought Seju and Sumin were good for each other, when I still hadn't realized what a massive a-hole Sumin is lol I even half-joked that Sungji would be better off with Seju! Team Gaji may say this is a beautiful relationship that Sumin and Sungji have, but doesn't mean I have to feel the same. I love Sungji though, so she is the only reason why I would not want their relationship to implode.
BTW I do agree that there is a potential reason (or excuse) for Sumin's bad personality here, which is her torture trauma made her plain nuts for a decade as commented above. Still, unless it's proven somehow that she became a better person in future stories (not just a sweet person to Sungji), for example by apologizing for the way she treated Seju, I just don't like her. Deal with it.
So you dont like Sumin but you still want her to end up with Seju because apparently, for you, Seju is a saint. You've repeatedly contradicted yourself yet again lmao.
Youre pretentious concern for Sungji ain't gonna hide your real concern here: you just want Seju/Sumin back together. Period.
ps: yoonie, how mant times are you gonna pretend that youre a new reader btw lol?
ps2: I agree about Sungji/Seju tho. Since Sumin and Seju are the same, Seju matches well with someone like Sungji. Their dynamic is the most interesting to me to be honest. They complement each other very well.
last edited at Apr 7, 2019 11:29PM
Oh goodness, Seju not ending up with Sumin has really turned her apologist to demonize Sumin as if Seju is a saint after insulting Sungji. You want Sumin to be a terrible person so bad youre even hoping she treats Sungji worst in the future.
Jfc, Seju/Sumin toxic relationship isn't gonna happen to Sungji/Sumin because the latter complemet each other. They are the puzzle pieces to each other. The nonstop projection of negativity towards Sungji/Sumin's relationship in the future (that gaji aleady assured to be beautiful, healthy and non-toxic) clearly shows how desperate you are because you dont want them to be happy.
Sumin has issues, and so does Seju. But atleast Sumin changed for the better because she finally has Sungji. Seju is gonna be with a person who's going to take care of her and who actually suits her. That person is NOT Sumin whether you like it or not.
@matsuri_wins
Yoonie, it's over lmao. Youre still harping about an impossible ship even after insulting Sumin. Goes to show youre just bitter Seju didnt end up with Sumin lol. Love your pretentious posts tho.
Seju x Dowon is next btw :)

Why would they break up when Sungji already knows that Sumin is absolutely in love with her and Sumin has completely gotten over Seju lol? No matter what type of shit Seju pulls, they won't work after Sungji finally knew Sumin's heart.
It's not like I couldn't agree with anything you wrote, but I felf like that was not about the Sungji in wdtfs. She said Sumin gave her her heart, but then they broke up twice after that.
Oh good lord, did you even read my long post about the massive difference between the break ups and why it wont happen for the third time??? Youre clearly just looking for weak excuses for them to break up lol.
I find your "Sumin is absolutely in love with her and Sumin has completely gotten over Seju" greatly exaggerated.
Except it's not an exaggeration. It's a fact. I'm sorry that it hurts your feelings -shrug-
You sound like you want them to break up so bad lmao.
What I sound like has nothing to do with the story.
It has and youre clearly projecting.
Apparently, Sumin x Sungji is insecure, so I don't find their breakups out of ordinary.
So you finally acknowledge that Sungji has a flaw. Great. And now your ignoring the fact that Sumin finally showed her that she's the only one for her, making her feel secure that she loves her and only her. Thus , a break up is an impossibility by this point.
As the manhwa only showed Sumin X Sungji relationship worked out while Seju left, I still doupt that everything really has changed.
Omg, thr desperation and denial here tho...
(Also, how many accounts are you gonna use to reply to me "ddd" , "ee" or perhaps "yoonie"...??? )
Two of the accounts you mentioned above were mine. I didn't create accounts to reply to you though. Creating a new account didn't take more time than trying to recal my old password, so.
Nah, just admit you lost the argument and went to create an account. Plus, how can you forget your old password when you created an account only a few hours later lol. Another lie from you. (Is matsuri_wins your accnt too? Seems like it lmao)
Seju/Sumin ain't gonna happen ever again. Even Seju already let go, you should too.
Look at your comment. -.-
Yep, you should let go.

Sungji is an insecure girl who thought Sumin doesn't love her but tried to be confident about her relationship with Sumin. But just when she thought she's successful in trying to convince herself that Sumin loves her, that confidence got shaken when she saw how worried Sumin was about Seju's situation when they overheard the men discussing about Seju in the cafe. That's the turning point that made Sungji truly think that Sumin loves Seju the most so she broke up with Sumin the next moment. As for them getting back together, Sungji saw how lost and empty Sumin was without her and she's all alone (Sungji might have thought Sumin got back with Seju at first). After all that, Sungji finally realized that she is the one Sumin truly loves.
If Seju shows up again, Sungji will go back to square one, no?
Why would she? The fact that Sumin was so broken over Sungji leaving her and never getting back together with Seju already gave Sungji the assurance that Sumin loves her and no one else. I'm sure Sungji is now confident about her relationship with Sumin whether Seju comes back in the picture or not.
It was like that too when Sumin x Sungji broke up for the first time.
Nah. Both instances are significantly different from each other.
The first break was more of a cool-off than an actual break-up because Sungji couldn't break up with Sumin completely. She needed some time to think and decide whether to move on or not. Sumin cheated on Sungji to give Seju her last wish before they part because let's be real, there was still some feelings lingering from Sumin's part for Seju even though Sumin was already in love with Sungji. Sumin was still somehow indecisive and a coward by that time, hence she couldn't give Sungji a reason as to why she should stay with her. She felt guilty. Sungji on the other hand was confused and was deeply hurt that she thought Sumin was so fast to leave her while Sungji wanted to hold on. She kept saying she couldn't forgive her. They got back together mainly because Sungji wanted to give her another chance and she loved her too much to leave Sumin and not because she felt Sumin loved her the most. The insecurity in Sungji was still there though. She was even apologizing for loving Sumin.
Now, compare that to that real breakup that happened towards the end. Sungji let Sumin go because she wants Sumin to be happy because she thought Seju was the one Sumin truly loves. I also think she pitied Seju so she gave up on Sumin. It's a very selfless decision from Sungji's part. She took Sumin back this time because she saw how much Sumin loved her and only her. It was also evident that Sumin no longer held any romantic feelings for Seju. She broke free from Seju's suffocating cage.
In short, the two breakups are massively not the same. The motivations, reasons and circumstances differ.
Yeah, the two breakups are not the same in terms of motivations, reasons and circumstances. I would say that their third breakup would also be different in terms of such. Sumin is still working at Seju's company and living in the house full of her past with Seju. Which gives rooms for drama to happen if Seju still wants to hold on.
Why would they break up when Sungji already knows that Sumin is absolutely in love with her and Sumin has completely gotten over Seju lol? No matter what type of shit Seju pulls, they won't work after Sungji finally knew Sumin's heart. You sound like you want them to break up so bad lmao. Oh btw, saw these new sweet Sumin/Sungji artwork from Gaji. I don't know if they're from the new chapter but I got diabetes tbh https://twitter.com/sumincheodol/media
PS: I love being on the winning team (and healthy team). Can't wait for Seju's lovestory with Dowon!

^ You’re becoming abusive with this “shipping” nonsense. Please stop it.
Why would I? Does it hit a nerve? Also, I've written a lot, yet that's the only thing that got you triggered.
Who even are you to police what I write. Shipping is a very valid argument here but you try to pass it off like it's some ridiculous notion.
I'm the mod, here to police what you say. So in answer to your first question, "because I said so" should suffice.
Tone it down, sunbaenim.
What should I tone down? Don't tell me "shipping" is a taboo word here. You're like trying to police valid arguments here lol.
Calling people liars and hypocrites is a good start. How about you stop with those entirely.
And your "shipper" accusations seem to be based primarily on you making assumptions about others, so yeah. You might as well drop that whole line of attack.
Is it bad to point out the obvious here?
Base on her posts, she's a hardcore Sejumin shipper, and it's a blatant lie that she's not a shipper lol. She's also a hypocrite with her double standard on how she sees sex scenes with SuminxSungji and Sejumin/Suminx random girls.
I'm just pointing out the obvious.

Well, her light didnt shine enough, lol
You're blind then lmao
or maybe a naive girl is shining enough for you? Your choice, lol.
Or maybe you're too obsessed with broken characters to even consider the fact that a character doesn't need to be messed up in order to shine. The fact that she's the opposite of darkness literally makes her a standout. It's just you're stuck being all edgy and shit because you prefer Seju and Sumin together lol.
Did you know what I expected from her? I want her to stick with what she said and did.
After giving a freaking announcement at the end of arc 2 abt everything will not be the same to Seju, later on she did absolutely nothing, lollll. Then bammmm, when she met Sumin again, they were back together, lollll.
She couldn't stick to what she said because she herself was only trying to be confident about her relationship with Sumin. She's hella insecure and it only took a conversation between two people in the cafe about Seju's situation and Sumin's sad expression to shake that confidence. How is that hard to understand lol.
Is she naive? She IS naive
She is naive ofc but she's learning. What it so maddening about that lmao. Besides, since you're obsessed with flaws, being naive is a flaw. Meaning, Sungji has a flaw.
Is she angel? Hell yeah she is, the talk with Seju, all the things with Sumin. Hell freaking yeah she is
Yes she is and I love her for it.
Is she more than naive and angel? Hell yeah she is NOT. Tell me what she did to stand out?
The fact that she's the anti-thesis of Sumin or Seju and all the mess surrounding the story makes her a standout. Sit down. Oh, and btw, Sungji is insecure sometimes, that's another flaw.
Her talks with Seju? That just made her more angel, not special
She's not special to YOU loool.
Please she is just another normal protagonist and should be in a normal story, not placing her beside two fucking messed-up girls and tell me that's a healing story, lol, that's just bullshit.
How the fuck would it be called a healing story if all of the characters involved are messed up? There should be BALANCE, mate. You're literally pushing this idea that fucked up characters are like the shining beacon or something lmao. Stop bulshitting.
Oh, yes, I like dark story, not tragic, lol. Dark and tragic are not the same.
They are the same if all you want to see in a story are depressive and fucked up characters and no unproblematic characters to balance/counter them.
I've said multiple times, I dont like naive, angelic girls. Be bad, be human. I'm not a dream girl who lives in a dream and sees there is a good girl like Sungji. Life is not perfect and human has flaws,
Who gives af about what you want in girls lmao. Life is already depressing enough and yet you still want mess in a fiction? Sungji is like a testament that there are still untainted, kind-hearted and precious souls living in the world. She's like a hope that fights cruelty and hopelessness. How wouldn't you want that?
Again, Sungji is naive and sometimes insecure, those are flaws :)
I can be selfish like Seju when I'm in love, being possessive, being jealous like Seju. I can make mistake like Seju.
That is not love, pal, That is obsession. If you're excessively a jealous, possessive person, you're trash and aren't capable of loving sincerely. Seju hates it when Sumin hangs out with anyone; she doesn't think of what Sumin actually feels. She's selfish. Seju needs a person that has a positive outlook in life and a relaxed personality- Dowon.
I can be angry at the world for taking everything from me like Sumin, blaming everyone for what I lost like Sumin.
You need therapy. Blaming everyone else is not healthy. You need an understanding person- Sungji
Sungji is too perfect, girls being perfect like Sungji? She should be in school mangas where its all about first love and sacrificing herself for what is good, loll.
LOLLLLL why do you always insist that being a positive person is a bad thing lmao. You need a therapist lol.
LOL, have I ever said I'm a SejuxSumin shipper? LOLLLLLLLLLL Ohhhhhh, this is interesting.
Are you really gonna deny that you're a shipper when it's blatantly obvious that you actually are? Don't take me for a fool lol.
And what else did she care? Except for love and sex? That's her, lollll. She loves Sumin = > love. She has sex with Sumin = > sex
What else about her? Please tell me. Dont tell me about her talks or things she said, that's not the stuff she "cares", lollll
And is that a bad thing? Hm? What? You want her to be depressed too in order for you to like her? Or you want her to to be into drugs to like her? Jfc, you really need help.
Well, lighter doesnt mean skipping the interesting parts to portrays two girls have sex, lolll
You're acting as if all Sungji and Sumin do is have sex lmao. You're exaggerating because you can't stand the fact that Sumin loves Sungji. Are you also gonna complain when Sumin/Seju are going at it too? No? Or Sumin having sex with random girls? No?
Stop being a HYPOCRITE. Sejumin is toxic. Get over it.
Since when did I become a shipper? LOL
Stop lying. Pretending you don't ship won't make your arguments any less garbage.
I didnt ship anything to your house. Bad joke, I know.
Bad joke is claiming you don't ship lmao.
I said this once and for all, I only like Seju and the way they portrayed her at the beginning of the story. Dark, mysterious and all. Later on, I like the concept of loving one person through good or bad for all those years. I dont like anything else, anyone else.
In short, you're a hardcore SejuMin shipper who's rooting for a very toxic pair even though they bring out the worst in each other and is very mad that Sumin ended up with a girl that she shares a very healthy relationship with. Got it. You're bitter.
AND I DONT SHIP, LOL.
Stop lying for the nth time.
- Sungji did nothing after her statement at the end of arc 2, for what she said, she should've talked to Sumin or sth, just to fight with Seju, to prove her wrong. Where did she get that freaking confidence thinking Seju is wrong when right the previous chaps, she was proven to be scared of losing Sumin and didnt quite believe Sumin loves her?
Because she's human and actually falters with her emotion. She's also insecure. Isn't that what you want, for her to be human? Why are you complaining then?
- Seju did nothing after strongly saying "I will get you back". What did she do? Disappearing for chapters to give rooms for SuminxSungji to come back together then wandering around them, then almost got killed? That's what a girl did to take back her ex love? LOLLLL. If she is already a third party, then be a goddamn proper third party. Fire Sungji, make Sumin go on business trip for months with her, do sth, anything. Not being a halfass third party like that
I'll give you this BUT Seju caused enough trouble just by living in Sumin's house.
Or maybe the author didnt want her to be the fulltime bad guy so they leave her like that, so she wont turn worse. Seju is loved by alot of people after all.
Where is this claim that she's loved by a lot of people coming from? I know Gaji loves her but I don't remember her being that popular lol. Sumin and Sungji are far and away more popular than her.
- Sungji's angelic actions. She didnt believe Sumin loves her but they were back together. She told Seju that she is wrong, then later on she left Sumin at the near end of story because she thinks Sumin still loves Seju and she is a burden to Sumin. Did you see the consistence in Sungji's actions and words?
That scene is so easy to understand, I don't get how you see that as a plot twist. I totally saw it coming just looking at Sungji's expression in the cafe with Sumin.
That moment just shows that Sungji is human too. Her insecurity and wrong assumption made her leave the person she loves most.
Seriously, you lack reading comprehension if you didn't understand Sungji's actions during that time. It was clear as day why she acted that way.
Sorry, I DONT.
She's human and makes mistakes, isn't that what you want for her to be? To be flawed?
Do you want me to list more? I have a bunch.
What else then?

Sungji, to me, is someone who was put into a wrong place and wrong comic = )))))). She is supposed to be the bright light for a dark story, however, she is not strong enough to stand out.
How is she not a stand out? She's the sole person to make Sumin's life brighter. The fact that she's like the light at the end of the tunnel makes her memorable.
Her characteristic, naive, nice, all around good girl is supposed to be the reason why Sumin fell in love with her but somehow, in a lot of moments, I feel really out of place when reading about her, like everything is so dark, about Seju, about Sumin, then here I am, seeing a naive girl, all about living easy life and then later
So you just want WDTFS to be a depressing/hopeless story? You should've read tragic stories then.
all she cares is love and sex.
LOL where are you getting this from? Are you really this mad about SejuMin not being endgame that your perception of the lovely girl that won Sumin's heart is this skewed?
It gives me the feels of leaving her scenes behind and having the urge of knowing more about the darker side of the story, the mysterious and all the fight about Seju's family. These things get me more interested than seeing a bright girl in love. After all, the whole story is pretty dark
Just because a story has darkness in it doesn't mean there can't be a lighter side.
If Sungji is in another story, lighter and brighter, she will definitely stand out.
Nah, whatever Sungji does, she's always going to be not good enough for YOU. It's a typical behaviour of a bitter shipper to be like that lol.
Story wise, this story has bunch of plot holes that I dont even have energy to list on, lol.
List them.

considering how shitty sungji's personality was, seju was still the preferred outcome for me.
Sungji, shitty personality? That's rich coming from a Seju fan. Seriously, you've seen how terrible SejuSumin were to each other but you're out here blaming Sungji for having a "shitty" personality???
i mean...her personality was just as blank as most of her expressions, and the little they did give her were so awkward.
Your take is pretty subjective since you're attached to Seju. Sungji is quiet yet cute, understanding, patient, kind and most of all, loving. Sungji also doesn't cheat :)
and both sumin and seju had shit to work through. i think if they did, they could have a healthy relationship again. there was just not enough communication between them. if they had been honest from the beginning of the story, i don't think things between them would have been nearly so bad.
You're wishing for some things that cannot be changed. Seju is very possessive to the point that she hates it when Sumin hangs out with anybody else. Sumin is too sensitive and hold grudges. Those traits of Sejumin make them a very toxic pair that no matter how much they try, they'll always end up hurting each other. Gaji has pretty much shown us that.
they feel like a fated pair waaaaaaaay more than sumin and sungji.
With a relationship that toxic? Fated pair? Nah. Sungji/Sumin is the epitome of fated pair that no matter how many times Seju tries to ruin them, fate repeatedly brings Sungji back to Sumin
maybe if they author had gone more into why sungji always seemed so insipid, it would have made her more relatable.
Why does the character have to be relatable to you to be liked? Lol, does that mean you like Seju because you're possessive and a cheater too? Seju also keeps pushing herself onto someone who doesn't love her anymore, are you like that too? Perhaps you can relate to Sumin as well because you're a terrible gf who keeps stringing her along because of a grudge?
at least make it SOME kind of an actual trait, and not just a failure on the author's end.
You're just pressed SejuMin didn't happen
Seriously, some of you don't even give a shit about Seju. You'd rather want her to end up with someone who isn't fitting for her, who brings out the bad traits in her.
Moving on, I'm excited to see how Seju and Dowon's relationship would grow. Dowon must be a very charismatic person to be able to woo Seju after several years of the latter being hung up on Sumin.

Well, yeah.. I agree: paradise didn't make me feel sadder. What made me feel uncomfortable is how beautifully the couple were built even though they had problems and then you go and compare this to how WDTFS ended. I can't believe Sungji's way of thinking! And the lamest scene of the lame in ch93 when Sungji asked Sumin what was she thinking out of the bed !!! Was Sumin really thinking of inviting Sungji to stay over given her past reactions just because Sungji threatened to leave.. was the reason Sungji left Sumin is simply because Seju was staying over.. was that it!!?? Is this even a real sustainable relationship ? What about the previous 10 chapters and what they meant in each one of their growth!
Actually.. whether Sungji and Sumin are sustainable doesn't affect the legitimacy of SejuXSumin anyways.. but it does affect my feeling of regrets on the over all manhwa.
Team Gaji successfully built strong backgrounds for 2 of their characters.. and a strong, legitimate conflict between them in a very smooth entertaining narrative. They were able to build yet a strong base for Sumin and Seju in Paradise and again a good story in Pet's Aesthetics. Even Nammi got a nice little tale here and there. Why their ending was such a disappointment story wise, isn't because Sejumin wasn't the ending but how logic was thrown in such an aggressive manner.
The little growth Sungji got was destroyed in ch92 and 93.
Sigh!
Sungji x Sumin is the only logical ending. They aren't toxic unlike Sejumin. Their characters compliment each other very well. If you really cared about Seju, you'd want her to end up with someone who treats her well and that person isn't Sumin at all. You're just butthurt, pal. Let it go.
Btw, Pet's Aesthetic seems okay but the ending's a bit odd.

Hi, everyone. I was following WDTFS at one point and haven't continued again in a long time. I'm planning to pick it up again, but just a few things I want to ask:
- What's the status of this manhwa, exactly? Is it finished? Cancelled? Did it get a decent ending?
- Is it worth it to continue? Lol.
- I believe the chapters were translated by halmoniswag in the past, and there was an overtoon feature where they overlaid the text with the translation. Did this continue until the end? From my email, I only have the translations up until chapter 62, so I'm not sure if there are translations for the rest.
Would appreciate any information. Thanks.
- The main story is complete. There are sidestories planned and the first story was released last year about Seju/Sumin's past but the serialization was put on hold because of Lezhin being such a bitch. The ending was nice, only Sejumin shippers are complaining about it obviously.
- Yes. The angst though...
- I'd like to link you to all the translated chapters but I think it's not allowed to post it here. If there's a way I can PM you, just tell me.

It's funny to witness how Seju x Sumin supporters' "delusions" got crushed time and time again yet they still held on to that hope. TG had shown the readers multiple times that Seju and Sumin are toxic to each other but the shippers pretend they could work. Sumin also gave many reasons through her actions that she chose Sungji on a greater level over Seju by saying she felt indifferent towards her when she saw her in her dreams; the "Don't wait for me in the snow anymore etc..."; when she made that huge scarf for Sungji while the spare was only for Seju (Seju even pointed out what that meant); and lastly, the final nail in the coffin- Sumin crying so brokenly over Sungji's leaving. She wasn't that broken even when Seju cheated on her. Sumin also didn't even spare Seju a thought after Seju bid her heartbreaking farewell. Sumin still cared about her but that's it. Being concerned for someone's well being doesn't mean you're still in love with them.
I saw Seju lovers claim Sungji is a boring character when in truth, she's far from that. She's such an adorable, kind, eccentric, understanding and straightforward person. Not to mention, her stability makes her the best option for Sumin. Just because you find Sungji unproblematic or not broken, doesn't mean Seju is better character than her or Seju/Sumin is better (seriously ppl??). I understand that you're all salty about many things, but Sungji/Sumin is the best and healthiest ending for this story. They make a lot of sense if you just try to take off your Sumin/Seju shipping goggles.
As for Seju, I love her a lot that I think she deserves someone who will love her for all her flaws and not someone who brings out the worst in her. TG's finally making her move on through a new character and I think they already make a very sexy couple. If Sumin/Sungji is fluffy/sexy, Seju/Dawon is off-the-scale scorching! But for some reason, I really like Seju/Sungji. Their relationship reminds me a bit of Chayoon/Erae from The Love Doctor. And their personalities match too.
