Really love this manga. Hope more is coming. It's a great premise, interesting setting and GREAT execution of the dynamics between innocent, rich, princess flustered by poor ruthless prostitute won over by her golden heart. And her knightly best friend :)

People register it as iffy but can't pin it down as something to really tell somebody off about. Xiao Lu did a great job handling it. And the apology in public... Very well done really. I really wonder if Xiao Lu can go through with outright rejecting her, most people would fold, but I would find it out of character for her... This is a really defining moment, whether she folds tactically or risks alienating tong tong's new crowd.

wow finally akira snaps out of her possessive infatuation. damnnnn. YES. this manga sets it up (the emotional arc) and immediately slamdunks it. (oops i was only thinking about myself)

i must say....the resolution was almost too sappy. and i feel like the individual pairings' appeals weren't preserved in the mix. i would have liked it if they'd spent time on how rin feels towards akira, and the development of her feelings. and rin towards mayuki. that would have done the trick i think.

i love how this manga is apparently set in reality. like: oh shit im kissing the girl im supposed to teach. ah no i cant just kiss my friend while she's sleeping. it tittilates then brings it back to reality. i think internal conflict and slow burn over that only makes it more awesome. Rins tormented faces lol

Surprised at Misa's response. Io was brave enough to reject and run away from a person who controls her whole life, not once, but twice. Misa was there for two of the manager's crazy rants. Misa's background does explain it a bit I guess. 'after hour services' are thing she 'chooses' not to do, and she's merciless about others 'choosing' to do them. She really does not seem to parse that Io was under an enormous amount of duress. I dont think she even has a concept of sexual assault, going by her response. After all, she doesn't let anyone do anything she doesn't want. Still, I'm disappointed. Because it's so rape culture.
