It redacted all that and went immediately to Adachi's arrival at home after fleeing, and her "WHADASHAA" moment lol

^ She's talking about visiting her old school and explaining to the other person her motivation in doing so: she's interested in meeting someone she was familiar with who would still be a pupil there whom she hasn't caught up with since graduating. That's what the descriptor conveys.

You lot have got rather a distorted impression of this from reading it in translation. The word 一目惚れ does mean love at first sight but it's not wrong to use it how Himari used it about instantly becoming a fan. It can even be used for just objects - for example, in Long Riders it's the word used for Ami's reaction to the folding bike that gets her into cycling. Himari using it about a person made it liable to cause confusion. It's nothing to do with different ideas about love or Himari not understanding love.

This is a common misconception that gets spread around. In a context where 好き is ambiguous, then 愛してる isn't any more specifically romantic.

The mangaka chose to use 稚児. It's valid to take the same approach to translating it as someone would if translating a man's autobiography were the term was used.

"Maiden" doesn't convey the connotations of 稚児 (chigo) at all.
