Why does she keep cutting -chan short in Homura -chan by dropping the 'n'? is Homura cha something from the anime?

The Madoka familiar literally says "Homura-cha" in the doujinshi raw. Dunno why, maybe because the familiar is incomplete? I don't think familiars are particularly intelligent. Maitake probably wanted to 'baby-fy' the familiar. Or something.

Though if I had to give my thoughts on this doujinshi, it'd be that it feels weirdly disjointed.

This is actually two different things. First 5 pages is the bonus manga Maitake had for Comiket 85, and from then on was the bonus manga included with the compilation book form C86. You guys didn't include the title (?) so it's a little hard to get.

Eh? Really? No wonder. I didn't see any C86 on any of the pages though...Granted I got the raw from a fellow redditor. Forgot who though since it was a while back. Thanks for the clarification.

Our new typesetter handled this project ! (Gagantous). I feel out of the loop that now my group is giving me Lonely Kyouko/Sayaka quotes! Lol.

Another redrawer was actually working on it with the original PSD files. So I'm going to implement theirs instead because it won't just be a grey removal, but a good redraw work-around.

Speaking of r madoka, congrats on the spot on that r place art piece

It's so amazing that everyone managed to protect it till the end, considering how large the spot is compared to the community size. I put my efforts on defending that art more than I put on my work lol.

I had nothing to do with that event! I feel so left out hahahaha.

God I love Maitake2's doujins. Just fyi to anyone reading this, I have a raw doujin from Maitake2, in case anyone is willing to translate it. I'd gladly typeset it. Just comment on here or something (new to the site so I dunno if I could really post an imgur link here or how messaging works).

I'm new here so I don't know how it works, but I submitted an upload request for a doujin I uploaded on imgur for Madoka Magica (I was the typesetter). How long does that process normally take?
