I tried reading Hinami's Power Level again, and my scouter said: "Oh, no..."

I'm glad Team Edd weren't on hand for this Beach Activity.

Don't show off for too long, Hinami. A Sentai Team might mistake you for a Monster and blast you to bits.

Criminy, I though they were Mikoto and Kuroko. Whoops.

I agree with that first page. Jesus was the original master of Stayin' Alive.

You'd best put this one behind yourselves.

I misread the Chapter Title at first, and I thought Hinami got 0 on a test. I was wrong, but she definitely got a 0 in this escapade.

Hinami has much power! Based on my readings, it's between 8,000 and 10,000! Any higher, and it'll be off the charts! I'll need to get some bigger charts!

Prepare yourself, Tsukino! Any moment now, the Gambling Monster will emerge and enslave Hinami. His name is Gamblore! And it will be up to you to snatch Hinami from his NEON CLAWS!

That's a fantastic interpretation of the Ace Attorney Movie's opening scene.

"Lenako"? Has she gone into witness protection? She does look pretty safe here.

This is also the first work on the site with a "Kiss Meter" Tag. I reckon that tag was invented to properly gauge that steamy kiss between Luka and Miku.

Kiss meter is a recent trend among drawing circles. Basically if the first photo reached certain like and/or repost the artist draws a certain character kissing with the main character as indicated by a bar shown on the side of drawing.

Example (Bocchi):

Variant (Renako):

In the words of an Evil Genius: "Steamy..."

Criminy! This is the first VOCALOID Doujin on this site in almost seven years with any Luka x Miku action!

And that steamy kiss was totally worth the wait. Luka wins and tops again. As she always does.

Stoked to see we're still getting Nanashiki's works on this site. Although it's overdue, the work is greatly appreciated.

Criminy, I thought Hinami was having a Chris Yukine experience. Or did the movie she watched end like this Shark flick?

Hinami lives by the laws of the Wild West. And her name's not Shane.

The chapter titles are in fact 100% accurate to the original Japanese chapter titles

This is slightly pedantic, but no, the TL has made some little adjustments. It's usually just to make the Japanese pun (usually with "baka") into an English one. For instance, "Gravitwit" was originally just "Baka Gravity" -- I bet that sounds like something in Japanese that a native speaker would catch, but "Idiot Gravity" does nothing like that for us.

Other times the TL has chosen to match the English title of a work. "Baka Man Star Force", a currently-timely Mega Man Star Force reference, is the one that got me curious -- I just had to know if it was originally "Ryuusei no Bakaman" to match the JP title. (It was.) "Frozedense" is the title that loses the most. Japan likes to give Disney films more descriptive titles; their version of Frozen is "Ana to Yuki no Joou" (Anna and the Snow Queen). So the JP chapter was "Ana to Baka no Joou" -- except there's a SECOND change. Anna's name has gone from アナ (katakana, standard for foreign names) to 穴 (kanji, making it the word "hole" -- like in Nozoki Ana or Ana Satsujin). Presumably that ties in with the second-page line about a "gaping hole in the stage we've set". Good luck trying to do anything comparable with the single word "Frozen"!

Ah, bugger...should've known. Thanks for the heads up.

Criminy, Hinami's quite the artist, isn't she?
