i can't believe i've never read this before omg... i'm so glad i was recommended this, there's just so much about it that i love... i sincerely wish this was longer because there's so much potential for the athletic side of it (like where are our girls sports anime hello??) and if the scenes were longer they'd be able to do a lot more... and also cause i want to see hanai and hoshino become even closer <333 they're just too cute ahhh

i'm really surprised someone like Ohsawa messed up the story so much like that, especially since all of her other works are great and the other two in Okujou Pikapika Romance are a couple of my absolute favorites on this site... i hope it's just a one time thing, and that the other two untranslated ones are better :S

I actually don't have any problem with New Game!!'s subtext-so-close-to-canon (wrt KouRin).. it does get frustrating that they're going nowhere at least not Rin, but Kou is packing her bags for France apparently lolol but we're all used to subtext at this point. I have faith in Tokunou too that he'll never put in any important male character/random het since he made that Sakura Trick doujin. Overall New Game!! is just like Lucky Star for me, a moe comedy, and you get exactly what it advertises on the tin. Though maybe when NG ends we'll finally get some resolution?

Yamato might top Ahagon as my favorite character omg.. intense tsun vibes lol. Also what's up with the reintroduction of Mozuku the cat to Aoba and co.? There were plenty of chapters before this with him in the panels weren't there? I might be mixing that up with the anime hmm, idk

Damn I really liked the design of the sensei so I was kind of let down by the twist. It was very well played though, leaving the audience to dismiss their suspicion of anju by using the red herring teacher. Halfway through I passed it off as anju just being the angsty/jealous pining best friend lolol

I'm so happy Tokunou developed Hajime and Yun more since although they're a part of the main 4 group even like Ahagon had more screentime and development than them.
God I'm also really jealous of Hajime too, the last time I cut my hair short I came out looking like an emo scene boy with a mullet

Hmm in this work there aren't any explicit images or magically growing dicks... So personally I agree that transgender and yuri tags would work better in this case as labels, considering futa is associated with nsfw and fetishization and etc which this work lacks. As it stands having all three tags should be a decent compromise though.

But while the pacing seems too brisk for a single chapter Mikanuji's art is really beautiful! It's very fluid, like during the kiss scene, and the characters look so soft... and I found myself liking Takagi (who's kind of like Hajime) more than I did Aoba, maybe because Takagi was more exciting I guess? So I disagree that having similarities automatically makes Now Loading...! worse. NL seems to be leaning more into developing relationships too which is nice and something I really wished for between Kou and Rin (or Kou and Aoba... or Ahagon and Nene... the list goes on).

Well another college application decision just came out and i was really down in the dumps so i binged this in the last two hours and this is immediately and forever now one of my favorite manga?!
