I love slow series because of how happy everyone is after a long wait. That anticipation was well worth it. These two are adorable.

A teacher said that the gender of the person you love doesn't matter?
Suspension of disbelief = broken

Ahem, I'm a teacher.

The kids actually tend to reinforce the idea that being gay is bad far more than any teacher or adult i have met. Or atleast say it more openly. They have little tact.

Though i'm really glad the story ended right there. As adorable as it was.

Does anyone know, or can remember if it’s been revealed, why she can’t simply drink blood from a bloodbag?

This is a vampire series and you're all here salty towards them being "murderer"...people read too much fairytales..

it's not about them being murderers. It's about an adult tricking an underage girl into killing another underage girl and then acting like it's all a silly joke

Sometimes I wish there were an up-vote button.

Even the argument that the teacher is sad and tried to hide it behind a joke doesn't redeem her actions. She regrets it? So what? She directly assisted in the death of a child who only tried to do the good thing. She willingly, and knowingly, committed a crime.

Hahahaha! Nah, man people just like being mad at someone. I knew about the heavy "foreshadowing" and maybe it won't end like complete shit, but for now it feels like we're getting yanked around because it seems sudden after the reveal of Psyche. (Not talking about me just for the others.)

People are mad about how the mangaka handled what could have been a pretty powerful reveal. The whole, 'You're going to die and it's your lovers fault. Yeah, I knew from the start. And now i'm going to get my kinky blood sucking on. Don't mind me. Wait, where are you going? WHY ARE YOU NOT BREAKING DOWN?'

Most of us are mad, i believe, at the despicable character and how the mangaka tried to make this light-hearted and silly. Fuck sakes, make it tragic or mate it cutesy. This balancing act ruined whatever tone was intended.

Glad to see i'm not the only one infuriated by that teacher.

Having the brides die with a timelimit isn't bad. It ups the tension. Suddenly introducing a secret organisation who sacrifices lives and uses the vampires to further their agendas and make money to, just guessing, try and control the world (because why not?) - that's very generic.

It seems as though the mangaka didn't really know what to do with the story until about a chapter or two ago.

I enjoy this series but this chapter was crap.

It's as though Kidaha lures girls in, 'marries' them and then lets them free. She's less of a leader and more like someone working in HR. In a very odd company.

Some of that may have been stated too strongly. Memories tend to be subjective in any case and, embarrassingly, i had forgotten they were even from the same series.

A reread may be in order. I still believe what i said but the truth is usually somewhere between the extremes.

I seem to always forget and then be surprised at how ecchi Mira is. It's like softly humoured porn.

I didn't even notice the art changed.

As for the people who think the author couldn't decide on a series or one shots; you are wrong.

The author is telling a single story. Their lives are influenced by others and they influence others. We learn more about the main two by seeing them from other perspectives. In the story of the Odyssey, his attempt to return is mirrored by Agamemnon. In that it showed how Odysseus's story may go awry and builds tension. For this it shows us various outcomes that are possible. There are different forms and types of love and care and affection the different groups feel for one another. The main two haven't come to openly express how, or what, they feel for one another. But we see that it's not necessarily romantic love it may end with. For a moment it may even have appeared that it could have been polyamorous.

These are not filler chapters. These are not one shots. These are deeply important to the narrative.

I can't see why people like Kuro. She's a nasty and selfish individual who does the bare minimum for others.

Oh, her perspective on love is warped. Yeah, so that gives little reason to abuse the affections of another. She's not unloving. She sociopathic. She has no god damned empathy.

If the main girl ends up with the sister in law, I really hope she doesn't cheat behind brother's back. I'd rather you find out he dies or it turns out he's actually a terrible person and is cheating on her. I want to see the main girl happy, but not at the expense of destroying her brother's marriage. If the sister in law stays with the brother and is happy, I hope they introduce another girl the mc can fall for.

I respect you opinion but making the "other man/woman" a bad person seems so cliche. Can't they just be a character who happens to lose their love to the mc? It happens.

I have no idea how this story is going to end but I've never had trouble with "bad" endings.

Or the MC ending with no one. The brother and his wife are nice enough people that splitting them apart is probably a worse ending than MC ending alone. She's still young and there are many opportunities for love.

Though honestly, i'm torn over what ending i would actually like.

Also am i mistaking something or are there really around 2-3 chapters released each month? Are the translators just catching up or can we expect this to be the average rhythm?

The TLs probably keep up to date if you read the comments they screen-shot. The manga is only updated every few weeks/months but tends to have a few chalters uploaded at once.

Perhaps i'm the only person who dislikes the manga but is still reading it. I can't pinpoint a single thing i like or Think is good about this. I keep reading because i have trouble giving up once i'm invested (addict in some sense).

My biggest issue with the story is that everyone has such enormous problems that it has become normal. There is no standard to compare the characters to. Everyone is disturbed and so being disturbed has no meaning in the context of this story. It's all just minor varities of the same theme.
When everyone looks 'normal', a slight abnormality would be obvious. But when everyone is grotesque, you become quickly desensitized.

Other than that, the mangaka is trying so damn much to unnerve you. It's actually a little agonising. It's those embarrassing facial expressions and phrases the people use to try get under your skin. This, to horror, is the equivalent of bad hentai.

It's not a love-triangle, it is just pretty much going through a "bullshit angst manga" phase in such a mongoloid way, bringing half-assed drama in order to somehow add a shock factor that was never needed to begin with. Their age difference was more than enough.

well

... Their age difference was more than enough

The drama is considerably less interesting than the dynamics of the actual relationship.

It sounds like quite the rough day. Not only do you realise you are gay, but you happen to be a lolicon too.
And then the following chapters watching Mimika trying not to be perverse or act on her desires were fantastic.

But these later chapters feel like they could be in any generic drama.

After she did the guy i thought there was some great potential for something emotional or realising between her and her friend. But then she goes full rapist and fucking laughs it off. Up until that i was enjoying this. Even the rape would have been fine if her reactions at the end had some compassionate thought and regret such as 'what have i done?'.

No. I raped my best friend as a joke and i'm going to tell everyone. That's a new level of bullying.

I thoroughly enjoyed this. But then, i enjoy angst and needlessly complicated situations like this love triangle. I do wish this had a more solid ending but by chapter 3 i expected it to be open-ended.

I haven't reead any yaoi besides the little that occassionally appears in yuri but it was sweet. There were a few too many chapters focusing on it for my tastes but it was fine.

Otherwise the pacing was nice and slow. Which i love.

And i'm out. I Wanted to give it 2 chapters but this is certainly not for me. Half way through the second and i've had enough. The art is, i suppose, trying to be sensual and sexy and who knows what else but it comes off as crude and perverse.

As an aside, what people do in private is none of my business but is drooling into another's mouth really a thing? We all have our own fetishes but damn, evey fetish, unlike my own, is weird.

I think the tags are fine. I mean, the name of the story and the angst tag gives enough away that you should know something was going to happen.
I really enjoyed this, including the soul-deadening ending. Fluff is nice and all but this i will remember for a quite a while.

^ i remember the earlier chapters and wondering if there was any actual subtext or was i just wishing for it. This feels so blatant in comparison.

They really know how to pick the colour pages.

It's good. A story that doesn't rely on overly dramatic cliches. The brother seems like a genuinely nice guy. The sister is hurting but considerate of others. The wife wants everyone to be happy. They aren't perfect but they are likable and you can empathise with them.

i hope the story progresses naturally and nothing feels forced. Even if MC ends up unhappy and alone it's fine. We are only seeing a small, though interesting, part of her life and it won't mean she will always be unhappy and alone. People get over their loves and crushes. I believe (ignoring Virgina Wolf) a story should show the most important and interesting part of a character's life. this feels like that period of her life.

I can do wierd or fucked up. But this was just ... Bad? The art is decent but it's taking a backseat for a girl with more anger issues than Guts. It'a so over the top that i would love to see dopey-girl die just to see the mangaka try to make rage-queen angrier. Make her bit off her own fingers or something in some mindless fury.

Since we are on the topic, did anyone realise that cake made by woman are smoother than cakes made men? It's not like I don't like cakes made by men, I just think that cakes made by women tasted bett..

... yeah as if.

I genuinely believed you. Thinking, 'that's odd. I wonder what the reason must be.'
Lords above, i am gullable.

I hope we get to focus more on knight-chan and her princess. Espescially the more docile of the two who seems a molestation recipient and little else at present. The knight has her character fleshed out so hopefully, at school, we get to see more of the other.

More chivalry, less... Groping. Please.

It's absolutely mad but very clever. A lot of the jokes are in the writing and not some punchline. The 3 panels leading to a punchline plagues so many of thse 4koma.
Reread the first chapter. Shouting 'heave, ho!' while removing her undergarments had me laughing.
