Although I don't understand a word, but I can tell how, in the middle of darkness and with her thoughts of this being her last moments, all she could do is try to reach Seol-A, even if it was through her umbrella.
She might have been even apologizing for Seol-A because she lost the umbrella !
What I can't understand is the last pages, the one that lack the words is the one most mysterious to me.The second hug I felt it happened most likely after Seol-A offered to have no-rae for the evening at her house rather than staying at the hospital. But then, something felt different in the eyes of Seol-A. Is it because she felt a strange feeling looking at No-rae's tearful eyes? or is it because of the way no-rae hugged her? Strange how one hug can feel very different from another.

Needs a died option, that greyed out panel seriously. Your faith in sense does you no credit.

No way, I WILL NOT kill no-rae with my hands.....kidding
But seriously, we all know the chance of no-rae dying here is almost zero...actually it is zero. That is why I didn't put that option

May I suggest something to kill the slow walking time till next week?
I will make a pool of what do you think happened to No-rae and you can choose one of the following:

1) No-rae is not affected/injured because she wasn't in the bus anymore
2) No-rae was in the bus at time of accident but is totally fine/mild scratch
3) No-rae seriously injured in the accident (coma/broken bone,,etc) and they took her to hospital

Mine goes to number 3.

Anybody knows if the novels are still ongoing? Some places say they are, some people say volume 4 was the last.

I think there is a typo error in the news boradcast. The translation says 200 passengers injured, but I think it is 20 and the korean text implement it (but there is a circle of a letter beside it make is like 200 so may be that is why a mistake happened. That and it is almost impossible to have 200 passengers on a bus.

Oh oops sorry, that was a typo. I stayed up all night translating wdtfs, so I'm a little tired lol.

Really appreciate the fast translation at such late hour, especially with this chapter for which we were all anticipating what is going on.

Ah, I see. So No-rae dies, then Seol-a and Ji-hwan are crying rivers at the funeral, start hugging each other, and end up going out. But then No-rae resurrects and eats Ji-hwan's brains. In that very moment, Seol-a shoots a shotgun and kills No-rae the zombie but the second bullet blows inside the rifle and kills Seol-a. Happy end.

After reading the translation (thanks Halmoni as always), it is almost certain that no-rae's bus is actually the one involved in the accident !!!!!!!!!!! OMG! And what a sincere call from Seol-a (no-rae,,,,kim no-rae ), that alone tells you something did happened indeed.

You are right. First I wasn't sure no-rae took the umbrella but now that we confirmed that. I think it will have a role.
Perhaps Seol-A going to the accident area (or hospital) and someone will be showing her a bag they found with one of the dead passengers, and to her deep shock, she will find the umbrella. (Not that I will even imagine the death of no-rae but this will be the plot of giving Seol-A a shock until later she hopefully find no-rae safe, or slightly injured and that will be a meeting filled with drama)

I can't thank you enough for opening this topic. Thanks to that I got curious and watched the whole 8 episodes and .....wow ! Such beautiful details making every moment in this anime a joy to watch. Lots of beautiful moments between those two starting from first conversation between them which I really loved the mature looks of Kumiko and the rebellious eyes of Reina.
Really liked the scene from the street at night in episode 5, especially the moment of reina pushing back her bangs with beautiful eyes lighten with happiness against the reflections of car lights
But the second half of episode 8 was a dream that I did not want to wake up from. The delicate piano theme and every, and I mean EVERY movement and word spoken was just unbelievable.
Can't wait for more.

So what are we expecting today? more details of the wedding invitation and perhaps inviting no-rae to go together? This may be the opening door toward Seol-A high school life and whatever happen. We still have no clue whatsoever about the dream Seol-A had with a flash of a car accident or something !

Now that I read the scans with translation, I can see that it was not all blowing dyed nails
the first time Seol-A was blowing on the polished nails of no-rae (something that DOES awake each sleeping cell in your body ^^)
But, the second time,after Seol-a gave that look full of desire, I think she was close into almost KISSING no-rae's fingers ! and that is what made no-rae quickly take back her hand with such cute blushing.

This should be interesting. And yes, I agree with most that maybe this invitation will come out of trash and she is going there....with no-rae. How to convince no-rae? food ^^

Lots of cute moments in this chapter, we sure missed it after many previous "intense" chapters before this.
Poor mother of seol-a, teaching her how to cook, thinking it is for her future son-in law that seol-a asking her eagerly to learn new recipes, little she know hahaha

So much for " we are still friends" thing....now that no-rae understand her feelings, every touch...every air flow from Seol-A is just too much on her heart to bear it.
The question mark in seol-a following no-rae withdrawing her hand just tell us for real that this girl really is clue less about the depth of her feelings toward no-rae.

After few exciting chapters were it was always ending in the middle of a transition that awaits more details, we are facing a new chapter today with totally new start ! I said it before in an older post that the last chapter was so much like the end of the series ! I can't see anyone else making similar comment so may be it was only me. But the way things were presented from no-rae's perspective gave me such feeling that no-rae reached the "peace of mind" and stopped running (which we all agreed she will), and that she will go on with her daily life, feeling happy just being by Seol-A side rather than suffering from leaving her, which is something she can't bear.
It was thus so much like a conclusion that we will live like this for now, "as friends", and whether this will stay this way or change, it is something for your imagination, dear readers, .........FIN/The end !.

Apart from this dreadful ending which would have killed us all if it is to happen. I don't know how the coming chapter will open a new progress to the story. Will it be a casual day out that we missed it between those two for a while. Or someone from the past will make an entrance this chapter, or at the end of it (no-rae's ex? or Seol-A old classmate? or a new love rival?

From my interpretation, the "I vowed to keep that promise that we made 'as friends'" meant that No-rae would keep the promise as long as they remained "friends", because it was promise that they made when they were friends. She was running away from Seol-a due to her unwanted romantic feelings, but then she realized that she didn't have any excuses to run away anymore. She didn't want to lose Seol-a. No-rae didn't have to act on her romantic feelings and distance herself from Seol-a. So No-rae decides to let things play out naturally, and see where their relationship goes.

As for the "Because for now, we're still friends", No-rae is acknowledging that they're just friends at the moment, but she knows that they won't be able to stay friends forever. The Korean says "as of yet", but it sounded slightly awkward so I changed it a bit. I'm assuming that this means that No-rae with either confess her feelings when she gets the balls to do so (and thus upgrade from friend to girlfriend), or she'll end her friendship with Seol-a when her feelings become too much of a burden to bear.

I couldn't agree more, this is the same interpretation I had.

The part of sitting on Seol-A lap was so hilarious, and amazingly non of us could imagine it happening out of all our wishful scenarios , Samba is just amazing.
But I really loved the face rest of Seol-A on no-rae's shoulders and the look of no-rae at that moment. Sooooo romantic and beautiful.

Somehow I felt this was the last chapter !!!! I even read down to authors comment and this forms comment with such fears in my heart to see if there is anyone else with such feeling.
It just felt that way, with all the narrations from no-rae's thoughts and the conclusion which just left us open with the thoughts that: no-rae will never let you go and will keep the promise she made as friends because that is the type of relationship they both have for now, and she will be hiding her feelings for now and see where the waves of feelings will take them both.
One question, was all the narration in the box belongs to no-rae's thoughts? even the parts where she says "the Seol-A I know"?

Seriously, am I the only one NOT happy with FF turning into a hentai all of a sudden with these fan arts? !.
Perhaps it is the nature of this manhwa which has been based on feelings of passion and pure love of two girls just happy for now being together that made such big transition in these fan arts a bit of shocking for me.
This is not the manhwa I liked and I am a bit disappointed of those fans who gave such totally different picturing of a story that is totally revolving in another dimension. The way I pictured those two when they finally express their love, I imagined moments filled with slow, gentle touch and every movement that just express how much they deeply loved each other, in a momentum similar to the story and its natural development.

By the way, I just notice the car in better detail. It look sooooooo much like my old car. A 4 wheal drive white Hyundai (Tucson) ^^

Haha, I was about to comment, how Ssamba put a lot of details this time, including the car, and you even figured out the actual model!
Now we also know that Seol-a is a right-hander - the wristwatch's on her left hand (really like how simple yet cute the model is). And No-rae's mom seems to still have a ring on her fourth finger, so I guess No-rae's dad's alive. Working in the city, perhaps?

You do have an impressive attention to the details. Yes, I notice the ring too somehow and indeed this chapter was rich with these little details.
I think we began to pay more attention to these details as it seems Samba do refer to them sometimes later. I did notice the hand in pocket of no-rae which was in the chapter where she invited Seol-a for the movie theater but didn't stop at it much and never occurred to me at all that such thing will be referred back to and be part of no-rae's past with brother.
