The first two Chapters were exactly how I felt as Yuri Fan before I came out as trans.

The third chapter was rather disappointing. Not because of this whole transphobia controversy the people were shitting about here, but because with the crossdressing and het tag I would have wished that this manga developes more of a story and that the Prot has his first crossdressing, maybe leading into the trans direction. There are by far too few Mangas about lesbian transwomen.

Am I the only one who interpreted that as something farily common and normal in relationships? The Thorns, this is the passion and the excitement that comes with a new relationship. Everything is new, everything is exciting, everything is like in flames. That is the easy part of a relationship, you can just flow with it, enjoy it. Everything is easy. But a long term. relationship can't just live on such feelings. Long term relationships don't are "We have our true love and everything is perfect and lovey dovey for all time". Every Relationship becomes daily grind at some time, something normal, it loses this first passion and excitement. Many Relationships break at this point, because from this point one, it becomes hard work. Living together with someone for five, for ten, twenty or fifty years is not something that comes from itself once you find "true love", it is something borth partners can be really proud about, something that is to be celebrated because of the hard work, keeping a relationship alive. That first Passion is something one can miss for his relationship, but in place of this comes something new, something that is less exciting, less passionate but more secure and stable instad.

That's at least how I interpreted it.

This is all nice and moody, but I'd really like for this to take an actual direction and go that direction already.
I just don't really see any actual point to this story (yet), I get that the author wants to be shady about it, but we're already 8 chapters in and I just dont see enough plot progression.

What do you have against some simple, fluffy slice of life?

Did somebody else thought about how akward it would have been if Rises mother had come home? Like "Why is a middle aged stranger in our house?" "Yeah, she's my Girlfriend".

And yeah, I think the laws in those situations in germany are solved pretty good. Sex with 16 year olds is legal als long as it's not abuse, prostitution or some form of dependence between the adult and the teenager (like student-teacher or Boss-Worker, legal guardian and children) and even sex with 14 oder 15 year olds doesn,t have to end in conviction as long as the Teenager shows the ability for sexual self-determination. Such cases are investigated from case to case instead of saying "She was so and so old, you're a sex offender."

Don't forget the most obvious erroneous depiction of fencing with rapiers: She is SWINGING A RAPIER it as if it was a typical sword.

Tho then again, I was not gonna bother commenting about it cuz it's clearly not taking it seriously.

Maybe she's a Jedi? They are actually Jedi who practice fencing, like the coolest of the former Jedi-Masters Count Dooku.

Oh, no. Jedi are supposed to be nice.

Maybe she's a Sith? There are actually Sith who practice fencing, like the coolest of the Sith-Lords Cound Dooku.

So fencing actually can be used for self-defense?

I seriously doubt it honestly

I would prefer historical medieval fencing for the sake of self-defense. It has proven to be capable of actually killing people. Sport Fencing on the other hand is 99% of the time only a MacGuffin to show how rich or sophisticated a character is :P

I do feel sadness for Wendy's mother, but I am able to see some sense of justification for Wendy. I mean, she was a kid who had this precious family that meant the world for her that was filled with warmth until her dad had left off. Of course this was going to impact her, and even Wendy's mother had cheated on her father that Wendy probably really respected. Being this, Wendy must have been neglected all the time because of her mother being with other men rather her daughter and without her father, well it all just equals to problems. This stuff can pretty much take a huge toll on a child to develop all sorts of issues, especially knowing that her two parents were being split apart. She even had another child in her bearing that was created from her "betrayal." Wendy therefore just threw tantrums from her issues that were created. I can't find any real person to blame for any of this, since all people were the source of the problem.

I don't think there's much to justify. What she did was horrible and abusive, but she was a child. There's a reason why in many civilized countries a child is not prosecutable until they are 14, they often don't know what they are doing and they can't estimate the consequences of their actions. Did you ever saw an angry children? Even older children often start to punch and to kick when they are angry and if the parent is pregnant, something like that can happen. It was an accident and her mother understood that.

I really liked the fact that this one got a happy ending. I would like to see a sequel, but I also don't think it would be happy at all. Wendy has serious problems with her anger management.

As far as I know the Eyes of an Albino are usualy blue but can have some kind of pinkish layer because of the lack of pigments you can better see how the lacks pigments you can better see how the eyes are supplied with blood, but that's really rare with humans. The myth of red eyes and white hair are because of albino animals, but that's not how albinism on humans looks like. And if she is a complete Albino, she would be probably nearly blind. And yeah, Albino hair are not silver. They are pale blonde. In Caucasian aras, you wouldn't even see if somebody is an albino, because many people there have white skin, blonde hair and blue eyes. They only attract attentions in areas were the majority of people is dark skinned.

I think the ending was kinda good, better than what I have expected. Yeah, it seems like not everything is fixed, but I think the ending was still more on the happy side, because Meiko was at least honest at the end and it seems like she wants so try to make things better now. This is the first step.

the author is a jerk
riri a jerk
that guy a jerk
poor fuuka
that afterword page show the author true jerk intention what a jerk!
like the author plan to make this typical gay turn straight shit.
i'm reading too much into it.

IT sounded more like the author just thought about this at first and then noticed him/herself that it would be stupid. And I think Riris feelings were very understandable, expecially since it's not that easy in japan to live as a same-sex couple. And I liked Itta. Sure, he started as a jerk, but at the end he was a very mature young man who found happiness in seeing his two best friends being happy together and decided to support them as good as he can.

I'd just like to say the whole "Male > Female" debate is general at best. It really boils down to the individual. Chances are slim but it can exist that a Female by default could be stronger than a Male at a base physical level.

It's kind of odd that someone would flat out go "Psh, Male > Female Period." because isn't that just disregarding all variables? No I don't mean the ever prevalent Super Powered Females you see in stories these days.

What I'm trying to say is, just like you can be born in a male body and be 'Female' and vice versa, so can you be born with a body that's stronger than usual by default male or female. So saying "Male > Female" is ALMOST like saying Females(and any variation thereof) are weak simply because they're female.

Ah, yes that was really stupid. Maybe we germans are just differend, but in my classes back in school there where a lot girls who where stronger than me and many other boys. My ex-girlfriend was stronger than me, also a few female friends i had. Kashiwa may be a girl in inside, but she has the physical body of a man, so it is just luck that Uozumi is stronger than her.

That's okay. Although the word "T-Girl" sounds a bit like porn language to my ears (much the same way "shemale" is primarily a sex trade word"). "Trans girl" (or woman) as a two-word phrase is a bit more common these days. But totally understandable you might not know any of this not being a native speaker. I get what you mean in any case.

Ah, thanks will bear thisi n my mind^^ Read this T-Girl phrase somewhere and i thought it could be a established word^^ Bokura No Hentai was also in my to read-list,

There is another sympathetic trans portrayal, in this case a very young trans girl, Cotton Candy Love. It's a one-shot in Tsubomi 11, and I always have trouble remembering where it is, but I managed to find it. It's not the happiest story, but the trans girl is clearly a good person and not the one causing problems.

Remembering, read this too, a while ago. It was a very sweet and nice story, but sadly too short :(

It's also sad that Ayumi and Aika hat only 2 chapters, the two where a very sweet couple^^ In fact, they where my favorite couple in mermaid line, perhaps because they where the only couple to end happy together.

Ah, read double house and began with Hourou Musoku (i'm on chapter 12, but i like the idea of a gender-bendered heterosexual romance^^).

Double House was great, but i never unterstood the yuri-tab. Looked more like friendship for me and Maho seemed pretty heterosexual.

It's sad that Ayumi and Aika and Kyou Kara Yonshimai seem to be the the only Mangas with Trans-Girl x Girl (and Kyou Kara Yonshimai is also that kind of manga that I don't know if I should hate or like it...)

By the way, sorry for the bad english. I began to write english for a short time ago again and it passed a couple of years since school^^

It's just a joke^^ Cause Ryuunosuke (which is the manliest japanese name I've ever heard, i feel sorry for her) is still living as a boy at this point of the story and the words "I think it was a mistake that I was born a man" is probably the best way to introduce a biological man as love-interest into a yuri-manga.

It's a shame that there too little with a transsexual and a yuri focus.

I think the hate on Uozumi is ill-founded. I can totally unterstand why people hates him. The mangaka(s?) showed us Kashiwa as a lesbian trans girl in a relationship with another girl, Kujirai. She also has a lot better presence than Uozumi and is far more likebal. Uozumi looks often like a big jerk and sometimes he's kinda stupid, but I think he's a jerk with a heart of gold. I think his feelings for Kashiwa makes him likebal. he loves Kashiwa despite her biological gender, from the beginning he saw her as a real woman. That's a honorable attitude. The problem is not that he's in love with Kashiwa, the problem is not that Kashiwa begins to like Uozumi (which is kind of unterstandable, after he's one of the first persons who recognize him completely as a girl), the problem is that it looks like the mangaka wants to pair Uozumi and Kashiwa and the let her choose him over his girlfriend Kujirai, bend her into a heterosexual woman. That's the big problem and i think that's the true reason why the the people hates him, because the author builds him more and more up into a full and superior love-interest. And that kinda sucks, it has the shitty taste of cure your gays. It would be one thing if Kashiwa would have been introduced as a heterosexual girl from the beginning, but to show her in a lesbian relationship and then let her decide to pair up with a men whould be just disrespectful against every real lesbian trans girls who must fight against the whole world to be accepted as both, girls and lesbians, despite been born in a mans body and it would, especially if it is potrayed as happy end, a example of the worst possible ways to end yuri-content in a manga. I'm still hoping (and yes, praying to Jesus in heaven), that the mangaka DOESN't ship Uozumi and Kashiwa, but let Kashiwa be a lesbian and Kashiwa and Kujirai stay as a couple. It would be a better ending if the crush on Kashiwa would Uozumi let grown into a more mature and sensitive person and he would pair up with Sakura.

Also, sorry for the bad grammar and spelling, my first language is german and it's now a couple of years since the english lessons in school^^
