i have no friends so i don't really get teased * depressed laughter *

i used to when i had some though. heck i'm in college and i'm like a dwarf compared to all the big folks.

GraciousLlama

i'm kind of in the same situation with you tbh. Sungji is the healthier choice but as of now i don't think Sumin deserves her just yet. she probably will eventually though unless Team Gaji decideds to throw in a plot twist. Seju is the less healthy choice but she is so miserable that i just want her to feel happy again. plus plot twists can be interesting. though i'm a bigger supporter of her ending up single and content.

i'm secretly a supporter of the OT3 ending though it has little chance of happening. yeah i'm so hard to please lol

i agree. plus the story is still not resolved yet so i shall try to refrain from arriving at conclusions so early

i'm taller than my sibling too, but, like you, is still a shortie :T

and yes go give her a call. family is important!

i think Sumin looks younger mainly because of her eyes. they are very big and expressive. combined with her short height and she looks like the youngest in the story.

and yes shorties are cool because i'm a shortie too.

GraciousLlama

people that are upset about the cheating thing didn't have 10 years to get over it so I can see how that is still upsetting.

this story isn't for self-insertion so if they feel that way it's their problem. if one wants to judge a story fairly, they must take into consideration the details and circumstances of it.

Seju and Sumin are both 34 now so yes, they were of the same age in that scene. Seju always wears heels though and Sumin is known to be a shortie so yeah lol.

dofudofu

Nami is a model/actor right? makes sense that she's the tallest.

"so I can milk her".

this part killed me.

Seju is pretty much Sumin's sugar momma lol.

it just hits me that Seju and Sumin in this scene looks like a mom who's picking up her kid after school haha.

edit: finally got the image to appear!

where do people get the idea that Nami is a bro to Sumin from? besides the story saying Nami is her only friend? she asks for Sungji's number and wants to sleep with Sumin's ex. doesn't seem that much like a "bro" to me. i do find her a frustrating yet also quite intriguing character, i just don't see why some claims that she's on the "good" side.

but Sumin's eating her right now! ;)

life for Team Pink is hard when they have to debate with more simple-minded people (and i don't mean this as an insult). if one is so simple-minded that they can analyze no further than just pointing to the cheating and claims thay everything she does from that part beyond is wrong, they will have an extremely hard time understanding Seju and her supporters.

also i wonder if Seju really will take up the offer to sleep with Nami. on one hand i want to see it happen because it's going to be hot and it will probably kick start either 1) the Sumin x Seju reunion arc or 2) the growth and progression of a more genuine relationship between Sumin and Sungji. i still don't see Seju and Nami together at this point but depending on what happens next week, my opinion on this might change. and i completely agree with Thiaguinho-sama about this part, as well as his explanations as to why Seju is not "evil" for revealing the truth to the fiance.

tbh we should just drop this discussion. let whoever browse Tumblr be on Tumblr and whoever browse Dynasty use Dynasty. let them have their opinions, no matter how much you disagree with it. as long as they don't bring it up in the specific domains, users of such domains shouldn't be talking about it.

i do agree that Dynasty is probably the most neutral place to discuss Seju though. there are fans of every character and pairing on this site. i see people who have negative opinions of Seju here all the time. besides the trolling posts full of cuss words, most people here are pretty civil and casual about expressing their opinion and are usually willing to lend an ear to the other side.

at least none of you have called a character a slut/whore/psycho/witch like people on other sites do. to those kind of people, it's not that easy, or possible even, to have a discussion with them because they've already formed such a concrete opinion your words won't really matter.

and tbh people who think Seju is 100% guilty and is at fault for everything + Sumin is not at all guilty is probably a shut-in who doesn't know how life works. yes she is pathetic for waiting like a loyal dog for Sumin to come back but her actions are very much morally grey and is not obviously wrong.

if Seju were a "good" character, she would've let Sumin find out by herself (with or without warning Sumin/redhead about it), but she isn't (and she isn't a ''bad" character either, so she didn't intend for Sumin to get beaten up) so she intervened. people need to realize that the fiance deserved to know the truth too. he was lied to, whether Sumin knew about it or not. the way he responded is wrong though, and there is no indication that Seju meant for him to do that.

like Seeya said, if it happened it was definitely after the break up. that little scene made me too wonder about the possibility.

Oh, in short, gay friends always experiment with one another!

i said "could". please don't even start this.

Sumin and Nami probably slept together at one point, since they were both the type to sleep around, plus gay friends could experiment with one another. if so, it'd most likely be a one night stand though.

oh so that's what you guys mean. i thought that you guys said Sumin never stopped blaming Seju for her parents' death. i must've misread something. excuse me;;

dofudofu

i agree with you. as of now, the idea of Sumin and Seju reuniting healthily is impossible.

if you read the official English translation for the chapter after Sumin received a phone call about her parents's decease, it shows that she passive-aggressively blames Seju for her parents' death, since Seju's dad sent her parents on that trip abroad.

Seju is rather pathetic yes, because she's still stuck in the past, unlike Sumin who's gradually moving on with the help of Sungji. Seju wishing for Sumin's relationships to fail is wicked yes, just like how Sumin and the phone sex call, and the casual sex then come back to fuck Seju are wicked. Seju still hasn't been shown to actively do something twisted yet, try to refrain from the overt speculation and judgement.

i don't know how they will make this rashness beome problematic, but i hope it will not a badly-written. i honestly feel that it should not be a problem because of Seju's intervention. i keep my stance that she will remain passive and depressed. it'd be nice if they make it more realistic but there's always the possibility like what you said.

and yeah i agree with you that Nami and Seju feels kind of forced as a couple. they just don't have any chemistry at all, and their tension doesn't spark any romantic interest imo.

exactly. that's why i don't think they're completely ~in love~ yet. not right now. i do have a feeling that this rashness will have some consequences though, and it'll contribute to the story in one way or another.

i honestly expected that it'd take a bit longer for Sumin and Sungji to officially get together so i was a bit surprised when they did so earlier than i thought.

though i think Team Gaji does show character development (mostly for Sumin. everyone else is kind of stuck/underdeveloped right now tbh) very subtly, perhaps a little too subtly for some. it'd be nice if they step it up in the future.

basically my point is Sumin has changed and is still changing, but she's not very "healed" yet and she still doesn't trust Sungji enough to be "in love" with her. but she is getting there fortunately.

Faylicia

yeah i definitely agree that Sumin is too wounded to open herself up yet. hopefully that will change soon. Sumin and Sungji is a cute and most likely endgame couple so i want them to get good developments. i wonder if Sumin will try to be a bit more open and initiate small talks with Sungji from now on.

i think the main reason why the story feels weird to some people right now is because Sumin and mainly Sungji's condition vs Seju's condition right now is so drastically different. plus Team Gaji seems to have a habit of making a few chapters in a row happy, heart-warming Sumin/Sungji then insert 1 chapter of depressing Seju, which makes the storytelling feels like it lacks direction and resolution.

i can't comment much on Team Gaji's writing skills but i absolutely adore their artstyle. i too hope that they will go on and draw more yuri manhwas after this one.

also Sungji telling Sumin to do the cheers post to take off her shirt lol. that is super cute.

i can see that Sumin is changing but i wouldn't say she's really "healing" much, at least not yet. and i honestly think Sumin needs more than just love to heal her. she doesn't trust Sungji enough to truly be "healed" yet. it does seem like she might be getting there, and i think either Nami or Seju will help speeding that process up.

i think Sungji kind of suffers from the "love interest" syndrome where she's rather dull without Sumin. i blame Team Gaji for this since they hardly develop her character. i hope we get to see more of Sungji and who she is soon..

Sumin and Seju's relationship seems deeper even when one doesn't consider how damaged it is is mainly because of trust (in many cases but not some) and the dependence factor, the fact that they only have each other as family (which is yes, rather unhealthy). Sumin and Sungji don't seem to have a lot of "trust" in their relationship yet, which is understandable since they are a new couple, but since they already slept together it makes it kind of sticks out even more and seems kind of weird. maybe it's just personal preference but i'd only start sleeping with someone if i trust them more than what Sumin and Sungji is having right now. and to me this is why i don't think they're "in love" yet, because their relationship hasn't reached that level of mutual trust yet.

also Sumin's dominance is indeed very attractive. and Sungji is such a butt-lover. she has groped Sumin's butt twice (?) now lol. romantic Sumin is still my favourite though. seeing her being all bashful and blushing when she was still with Seju and when she's around Sungji is great haha.

i honestly do share your point, but i think the story hasn't reached it yet. though tbh it kind of looks like it might is heading that way very quickly, which will be a big shame and i won't be very glad about it. i hope Team Gaji has something else in mind..

i still stand by my opinion that Sumin has not healed yet, and that she is not "in love" with Sungji yet. i don't even think Sungji is completely "in love" with Sumin either. she doesn't know a whole lot about Sumin at all honestly. why don't they talk about themselves more? to each other face-to-face, not through Nami (with Sumin being unaware of it even). the sappy romantic gestures, sexual tension, and actual sex is nice and all but they feel rather shallow if i'm being perfectly honest here. and for a relationship that's supposed to be "healing", i expect more than just that kind of shallowness. she's merely getting her wounds licked so far (inb4 lesbian sex joke). which is probably why i find Seju to be the most intriguing character in the story right now.

not saying that Sumin and Seju's relationship is super deep or anything but tbh it is much deeper than Sumin and Sungji's at the moment. Sungji is just painfully oblivious and naive while Sumin is just not progressing much in the actual " healing" and "changing for the better" department. but then again the story is only about half way through. i'm glad that they talked this episode and Sungji got to know more about Sumin, though next time it should be through talking with Sumin herself, not Nami (though i doubt Sumin will be that open to her depsite saying "you can ask me anything you're curious about").

i hope something more meaningful and exciting will happen soon.

also shower sex...... (thumbs up)

Someone wrote above that team Gaji came up with Seju's character later?

it was me :D it was in an interview that Team Gaji did for webtoonguide.

That means they mostl likely intended for Sumin and Sungji to be end game. Not that we can't already see it, but this is anothr proof.

well it was intended that way 100% early development, without Seju, that's for sure. now that she's also a part of the story that option is a tiny bit less likely but i still think it'll be that way in the end, unless of course, if Team Gaji is packing some surprises for us. namely, http://imgur.com/cxpAhrn.

that's the story summary on Lezhin's EN page. notice the "a shocking plot twist" part there? i wonder if it's only to hype up the story (since it is one of the most, if not THE most, popular Korean webtoon on the site) or it's all planned out by Team Gaji themselves already....

Although without Seju, the story would be really different

yeah it'll probably be a Korean version of Their Story but with a more aloof Sunjing (Sumin) and a more straightforward Qiutong (Sungji) in an office instead of a school setting.

Seju adds more drama and imo, makes the story more interesting.

i'd prefer if Sumin tells Sungji herself. plus i see Seju as the passive type (in more ways than one lol) so it wouldn't be fitting for her to be the one to tell Sungji. she could've done that when they first encountered each other at the end of the first arc but she didn't.

MacySan

i agree with you. Sumin definitely knows Seju still loves her but she is indifferent about it because she doesn't want to be involved with Seju romantically again. plus like Nami said, Seju acts like a passive puppy waiting for Sumin's relationships to fail so that she will come back to Seju's bed so naturally Sumin will take her for granted. i don't think she has fully forgiven Seju yet though and her relationship with Sungji will probably change that, hopefully for the better.

when i say "considering Sumin and Sungji's relationship" i meant more like Sumin's tattoo could represent her hope for spring (love/healing) to come after a long cold winter (her unhealthy lifestyle/vengefulness against Seju) and it's fitting for the theme of the manhwa. of course she wouldn't know about Sungji when she got it done on her arm!
