I'm not so sure of that. Her introduction was ominous, to say the least. The juxtoposition of "Why are you so quite in school?" with "Hey, you look cool now." and the way she's looking down on them implies an unpleasant connection between those two thoughts.

Of course, it could be a fake out and the next chapter could reveal her to be perfectly friendly, but I still wouldn't expect her to be a rival if it goes that route.

Oooh astute observation… I feel like Agu is always very deliberate and aware of the paneling/scenes to portray and everything comes together on every level, visually and dialogue wise… the new person may turn out to be friendly but the juxtaposition of the feelings of cool/not cool and out of school/in school persona is definitely there.

Aiiii somehow these background characters that pass by add even another layer of texture and nuance to the main cast’s characterizations! I want like bonus chapters of seeing the main cast from the perspective of the background characters… like that gym teacher that yells at Yumimi for taking so long in the bathroom lol

In the end, I did both orientations, so people can chose the one they prefer.

Somehow when the shot is in landscape the focus is on the flowers but when it’s in the original portrait angle it focuses on Aya and her reaction and makes the shot seem more dynamic

I honestly adore all these slice of life chapters. Like, I love all the romantic couples as well, but these chapters that give us insight into their lives, the people they interact with and their friendships outside of who we usually see them with?
Fucking love it, 10/100.

Yes totally agree!! It’s also why I wish we could have individual character tags. It’s cool seeing the characters interact with each other outside of the “established couple”… like when we get to see them “cross” interact with each other and/or in the background of another character’s story it fills in small details to the overall character

For how I saw it, what Shizuka meant is that Kaoru always said she liked her long hair, which means that she already knows how Kaoru feels about her haircut. For Kaoru's sentimantality, I think she means she will need some time to say a more honest (with herself) comment.
It is very obscure in japanese as well, we are trying to fix it too.

Does anyone know what the original joke was? I know it’s not going to be easy to translate to English and I saw the TL note, but I’m curious what it was Japanese word for word.

About the photos in Insta, I can be wrong but there are 3 differents types of writings, a marker that I think is Aya, a pen(? that is Koga (really fine trace) and a round marker that is Narita. So from that we can know who wrote what.

Edit: I keep editing this because of the things I see over time plus the comments hahaha and is true, Aya is pushing Narita, that explains the angry face xD and maybe the " >:c " face was Narita taking Aya marker to draw it~

I kinda want to see that happen… like Aya slowly reveals that she knows Mitsuki and Onii-San are one and the same…but the “what the heck am I doing?” Made me think she’s tired of avoiding/holding back from Mitsuki

About Mei's "Chocolate Fettuccino":
In Japanese, Mei says she wants to try a チョコペペロンチーノ (chocolate peperoncino), likely intending to say "chocolate frappuccino" (since this is what Yuzu gets her on their date).
"Peperoncino" is just the Italian word for hot chili peppers, but in Japanese, it's the abbreviated name of a pasta dish called "spaghetti aglio e olio" (the full Japanese name is "aglio, olio e peperoncino"). Basically, I guess Mei thought it was some kind of chocolate pasta.
However, the word peperoncino doesn't have this strong association with pasta in English, so in order to make Mei's reaction on Page 9 make sense, I swapped it for a mashup of fettuccine and frappuccino.

Ya'll are worrying way too much about this. It's a cute story with great art. Not exactly earth shattering or a philosophical treatise on gay relationships. What does it matter wether or not it's going to be romance, explicit, etc. If it's good, it's good. What matters is Mitsuki better tell her soon, the anticipations is too much.

Haha the anticipation is too much but i wonder if the author will push it a little more. As we see their growing bond we also seem to get bits and tidbits about enjoying a band together (ie sharing playlists, band/concert t-shirts, exchanging CDs) so I wonder if we will get to see other ways of enjoying a shared hobby together.

Aka waiting for the day when Mitsuki will take Aya to a concert and/or something like this happens

With the towel half on Mitsuki’s head I somehow really want Aya to touch Mitsuki’s hair/brush it behind her ear when the reveal happens… somehow I think it would be super romantic lol
