I dunno. Seems to me that's a matter of individual taste. I personally like sex in my S&M; just the power stuff with no lust holds little interest or point for me. Just because some people want to separate the two doesn't mean they belong apart. You can eat graham crackers without chocolate or marshmallows, too, but it would be wrong to say they have nothing to do with each other.

The culture of s&m isnt about sex (or only about sex), what individuals do with it is a whole 'nother story. Too many people watched or read 50 shades of nonsense and think that's what s&m is. Sunstone is a more accurate depiction.

It's a crime that this is wrapping up in one chapter though, there's so much material you could make a series three or four times as long.

I used to read this on Batoto, it's really great and funny, and all without text! It's rare to find a lengthy and enjoyable manga done in "silent film" style. :)

Finally started watching Lost Girl again, last night, i forgot how hot Anna Silk is all dressed in black and leather. Her voice always seemed oddly matched for her looks lol.

And the new girl Tamsin... i like her a lot. She's prettier when she has her hair down.

Speaking of Lost Girl, I watch it solely for Tamsin nowadays. Poor Tammy is always given the short end of the stick. Don't know why, but Lauren always grates on my nerves---in fact, sometimes Dyson is better than her imo.

I have never liked Lauren. She always rubbed me the wrong way for some reason. Too clingy or something.

Since Kenzi is going out the show at some point, I'm glad they got Tamsin, she's not quite the hottie that Kenzi is, but I'm liking her just the same.

See? This is what I love so much about Nishi Uko. Almost every yuri out there is about schoolgirls and the stupid drama and "but we're both girls".
Meanwhile, these comics feel a lot mor like real life. Like, lesbians actually exist outside the magical land that is highschool and have lifes aside from "IMMA GONNA BANG ME A LADY AMIRITE"

Hmmm... i dunno how i feel about that. She changed herself to try to make the girl stay with her, but then moves on and in the end makes it sound like the love interest was at fault for her changing the way she looked and dressed.

Wow, talk about a trailer that sells the farm. No point seeing the movie now, we know all the beats.

Lol yeah movie was ok. It spent more time on Heigl's characters family and friends than the two lesbians. Almost no yuri in it all, the unhappily married sister obsessed with dead grass was the highlight of the movie.

If you're itching for some yuri then watch, otherwise you're not missing anything.

I'd rate the movie about a 5 or 6 oit of 10.

Any suggestions for other of Beer's books?

I started watching once upon a time out of curiosity, and upon seeing snow white (maine version), i thought: holy shit she looks like a troll doll with it's hair cut!

The gravity between us, unless you havent read her name in the sky, then read thatn the the gravity book. :)

I didn't really understand the ending... it felt like a reset to me. And the voyeuristic feel of the movie was definitely one of its strong points.

Its a collection of three retold fairy tales: Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel and Hansel and Gretel. They are all really really good, and not what you would expect.

The oddest part of the ending was they had a single black girl among the guests. She never showed up at any other point. It was like "we're not racist, see, we have a black person in the cast!" It was a little off-putting.
